Chase's Problems

Chapter 1: Mystery Parts

    A lone cloaked figure walked down a narrow, dark alley in the Inner World, the only thing visible from the under the cloak is a blood crimson eye. Not noticed by anyone, they approach a woman with red hair dressed in a unique floral dress.

    "What service do you require of me?" the figure asked in a computerized voice, seeming like they don't want to reveal whether they are male or female.

    "Me and my sister, Isabella seek revenge," said the woman. "We need your special "technology" to dispose of a pest." She pulled out a wad of cash. "I suppose this will suffice."

    "Do I get the name of my client before I hand over my wares?" asked the figure. The crimson eye emitted a white laser, which seemed to scan the woman. When it dissapated, the eye became slightly pink tinted. "So you're Eliza? Fine, I will give you my very last stock of my best chip."

    The figure pulled out a tiny chip, with the lettering "S-H-R-I-N-K" engraved on it. "You must install this to the victim's Robo and then it will effect both man and machine. It is very effective."

    "Thank you for your business," said Eliza, pulling out an enormous, shiny revolver. "Your services are now met." She shot the figure in the head, watching as they fell to ground in a limp pile and snatched up the computer chip.

    "Revenge is going to be sweet," Eliza said. She walked off, leaving the lifeless corpse for the authorities.

    Bzzzt! A young man woke with a start as his cellphone went off, signaling a call. He sleepily grabbed for it and answered.

    "Hello?"

    "CHASE! Where the hell are you?!" shouted Ernest. "Report to Steel Hearts now!"

    Chase immediately got out of bed and got dressed, running out of the door while still tying his shoe. He ended up running into his landlady, Lucy.

    "Chase, what are you in such a rush for?!" She cried.

    "I have to get to work," exclaimed Chase.

    "But this package came for you! You should open it first!" Lucy said, holding out a small, badly wrapped package. Chase immediately snatched up the package and said, "This must be the new parts I ordered! I'm gonna install it right away!"

    Chase opened the package to find a small computer chip inside. Pulling out his Cube, he inserted the chip into the slot and pressed "download." The Cube vibrated for a few seconds and immediately stopped.

    "There, now I gotta get to work!" Off ran Chase, leaving Lucy in the dust. Running down through town, Chase noticed an alley that he never seen before.

    "Hmm, that alley must go straight to Steel Hearts! I should use it!" thought Chase. Suddenly he turned into the alley, dashing blindly past the many pedestrians. Smash! Chase crashed into a cloaked figure and flew back. The figure grabbed Chase by the arm and pulled him to his feet.

    "So you're Chase, huh?" said the figure. "No wonder why they're after YOU..."

    "Wait! Who's after-?!" Before Chase could finish, the figure vanished. Sulking, Chase went the rest of the alleyway and sure enough, Steel Hearts loomed over him, a vast shadow of underpayed employment. Chase sighed and entered the building. There sat Ernest at his desk, with Marcia and Harry in front of him.

    "Finally you're here!" Ernest shouted. "Why are you so damned late?! Nevermind, you have a new S-Rank assignment. Rahu has escaped from the Inner World Laboratory and we were lucky enough to be called to retrieve it. We've gotten a report of two guys who claim to know its whereabouts. Your job is to rendevous with the men, ya got it?"

    "No problem!" said Chase. He never knew how wrong he was.

Chapter 2: Rahu Revelation

    In the outside world, there exists the Z-Museum, also known as the remaints of the Z-Syndicate. Everyone claims they know every room in the Museum, as everybody has been inside of it. But in the Z-Boss's room, if someone found the hidden button, they would reveal a secret elevator that takes you 1000 feet under the base. Here is a cave-like room, that was hidden from everyone, that is, except for the leader's trusted officials.

    Three people slinked into this dark room, all wearing dark cloaks to hide their features. They stopped at the center and turned to face each other. The tallest of the group took off his cloak, revealing him to be Sergei.

    "I'm glad to see you both here," Sergei said,"it is time to discuss the matter at hand." He revealed a hidden gauntlet on his wrist and press one of the many buttons on it. Three chairs popped out of the ground like living ghosts and the men sat down.

    "I'm tired of those girls wreaking havoc above ground, while only one of us is safe to go up!" cried the second figure,"I mean if they haven't found that hidden project, we would be drinking Tequilas and relaxing up there!"

    "I understand what you mean, Oboro," replied Sergei, watching the hood fall off Oboro's head,"The thing is, they must have been the ones that stole our Memory Retrieval Device and the Shrinking Parts. That's why we developed our own shrunken parts with some of Rahu's body installed into it."

    "Uhhh... by the way... I shouldn't be asking but who is this guy?" Oboro asked, pointing to the final cloaked figure. The figure grasped his hood and pulled it down, revealing his pale face and glowing crimson eyes. His hair was pink and a single horn protruded from the back of his head. Markings ran down his face and wires hung from the back of his head.

    "This my friend," answered Sergei,"is Rahu herself. It seems that she was too weak to repossess her robo so she manifested herself in an unlucky human. She delivered the part to Chase for us and is the only member immune to the Shrinking parts since she is her own robo."

    "Wait, Rahu is a she?!" Oboro cried.

    "Indeed," said Rahu, revealing her metallic voice. Suddenly her eyes darted to the door and she got into attack position. Two identical figures appeared in the doorway, too dark to see. When they stepped in the light, it revealed the twins, Isabella and Eliza. Rahu tried aiming her arm at the girls, but it wouldn't budge.

    "Can't move, Rahu?" laughed Eliza. "That's because we have a device that negates your electronic muscles. I just would love thank you for leading us to your hidden base! Now we will eliminate Oboro and Sergei once and for all!" She pulled out a peculiar gun with a cubed slot in the side. She pulled out two Robo cubes and waved them at Sergei and Oboro.

    "Look familiar?" Sergei reached for his Cube and realized it was missing. Some frantic searching had the same results for Oboro. Eliza loaded the gun with both Oboro and Sergei's cubes and aimed for them. A laser struck Oboro and Sergei and they began to shrink, changing into their own robos.

    Sergei and Oboro became frantic and tried getting away, using their robo abilties. But Eliza and Isabella were too fast, snatching up the two men. Isabella put the 1 inch Oboro up to her face.

    "They look just like candy!" chuckled Isabella. "I wonder if he tastes like candy." She stuck out her tongue and Oboro plopped on it. He was sucked into Isabella's mouth and disappeared. Sergei watched in terror as Isabella swallow, the lump that was Oboro traveling down her throat. Finally able to think, he looked to Rahu.

    "Rahu! Get out of here! Go warn Steel Hearts!" cried Sergei. Rahu stared at him for a while, then began to change, rockets coming out of her back. The rockets bursted and Rahu bursted through the rocky walls, forming another tunnel behind her.

    "Ahhh, so she can still use her Robo," exclaimed Eliza. "No matter, you're up, Sergei!" She lifted Sergei over her head and opened her mouth wide. Sergei looked into her mouth, watching the abyss that would soon overtake him. Eliza released him and he fell in, landing on her soft, but slimey tongue. Sergei felt the intense pressure on him and was sucked down the throat, being pulled on by Eliza's powerful throat muscles. He did the only thing he could do, changed into his flight form.

    "He was so delicious!" cried Eliza. "I certainly can't wait to eat that brat, Chase!"

    "But I wanna eat Chase!" cried Isabella, starting their fighting as they left the empty room.

Chapter 3

    Hub Park was astonishing when Chase and Marcia arrived on the scene. There were craters everywhere, most presumeably by Rahu and the fountain in the center was completely obliterated. Sitting on the only intact bench were two men, both too obviously recognizable.

    "Man, I'm so glad that Harry's still on vacation!"exclaimed Chase as he walked up to the men. "Evil, you better have some good information on Rahu, or else I will force you to stay in Harry's closet for a few days!!"

    "Uhhh... Chase... that's not really nice..." murmured Marcia, shyly standing behind Chase. The Evil and his henchman, Bubbles, looked from the bench and stood up. They were possibly the biggest clowns you could ever see. Evil wore all blue, completely looking like an idiot with his pink hair. Bubbles was scary because of his size, standing two heads taller than anyone with a white muscle shirt and smelling of eggs.

    "Well, Chase, that was rude of you," remarked Evil. "I guess I shouldn't give you the info... unless you fight me for it!"

    "Alright, I guess we can spare some time!" chuckled Chase as he pulled out his Robo cube. Evil followed suit, along with Bubbles fumbling with his cube, trying to get it out. Only Marcia stood there, hesitating.

    "Chase... are you sure about this?" asked Marcia. Chase nodded and Marcia reluctantly pulled out her cube.

    Chase began to focus, melding his mind with his cube. He suddenly was in a mental robo shop, Weapons and Robos lining up in rows. His eye caught the robo that he recently scanned into his cube. He glanced at its weapons as well and nearly started laughing.

    The robo was puny, almost bug sized, looking unusually like the combination of an Oil Can robo and Rahu III, Mostly Rahu-like. The gun and bombs looked exactly the same, both enormous and almost as big as the robo itself. Wires connected them to the robo's back, where the winglike Pod weapon formed, completely bigger than its master. Only the Legs were normal to the robo.

    Chase stopped snickering at the robo when he saw its stats. Every stat on the Robo and it's weapon were through the roof and it was surprisingly not an illegal weapon, so he chose it. The Robo looked at him and then suddenly flew at him unexpectedly. The Robo flew into his chest with a sickening hiss and searing pain welled up inside of Chase, causing him to collapse. Chase felt his body somewhat disintigrating, leaving him fused with the robo.

    Suddenly the room disappeared, changing into an enormous battlefield. Chase suddenly heard a thunderous boom behind him and turned around to see Marcia's Robo, Milkyway, almost at colossal size. He knew that she wouldn't see him at his size, so he flew up, landing on her shoulder.

    "Are you ready, Marcia?" Chase asked, poking his partner on the cheek. Milkyway's head turned to see Chase on her shoulder. She nearly collapsed at the sight of him, screaming in a terrified tone.

    "What happened to your robo?!" cried Marcia. She couldn't get an answer, she almost got hit by an oncoming shot. Evil and Bubbles appeared, firing rapidly at Marcia. Chase had to think quick, before he get's obliterated by one shot. As he activated his gun, wires mysteriously began to wriggle out, heading for the back of Milkyway's neck. Hole's appeared there and the wires connected.

    An amazing thing happened to the gun. It grew even bigger, easily twice as big as Chase. Chase ignored it and aimed at Evil, whom had Bubbles tagging along like a puppy. Chase pulled the trigger and nearly flew off of Milkyway as A huge beam blasted out of the gun, obliterating Evil and Bubbles' robos and, surprisingly, half of the Holosseum, revealing the real world.

    Chase watched as the rest of the Holosseum disappated and Milkyway disappeared. Chase realized that he wasn't changing back and looked out of the Holosseum. His body was gone, nowhere in sight, leaving him stuck in this Robo body.

    "Oh, I guess we won't have to use this gun after all!" said a voice. Chase turned around to see Evil holding a wierd gun with a cubed imprint. Marcia lay on the ground, completely unconscious. "I guess we'd better just take him to the twins and be rewarded!"

    Evil reached out to snatch Chase, only to be blown away by a blast that came out of nowhere. Bubble's was also blown away and smashed into an artificial tree. A cloaked figure appeared, With an enormous hole in it's head. One eye looked out from the robe, crimson in color.

    "Chase, if you want to live, you must come to me,"said the figure in a metallic voice. The figure grabbed Chase and wires began to come out from under the cloak, attaching to Chase and pulling him in. Chase tried to struggle with no use and was pulled into the darkness.

    Evil got up weakly and looked at the figure. Fear suddenly welled up in his eyes as he recognized the figure.

    "No! You're supposed to be dead!" cried Evil. "I saw her shoot you, and you collapsed! Rahu, how did you survive?!"

    The Figure didn't respond, only aiming his gun at Evil's head and fired. Air blasted out of the gun with enough force to knock out Evil. The Figure then left Evil, heading for a clearing without any debree in the way.

    "Phase 1, Liberate Chase, complete," said the Figure in a monotone. "Phase 2, Escape, initiate"

    The Figure began spinning, creating a whirlwind around it. Faster and faster it went, beginning to lift off the ground. Finally, with a final push of power, the Figure flew off, disappearing from anyone's view.

Chapter 4: Twin Weapons

    Rahu flew out of the Dome containing the city, Shattering a huge hole through the surface. It kept going, appearing to a normal person's eyes as pink lightning and passed the boundaries of the outside world. Eventually it landed on a small isle miles off the coast of the Outer World. Opening it's robes, the Mini-Chase robo came flying out and clunked onto the ground.

    Chase's sensor's turned back on as he reawakened. He looked up to see the figure that kidnapped him and surprisingly, another one that looked almost the same. Both of them threw off their cloaks to reveal their feminine bodies, a mix of flesh and machinery in perfect synch. Chase looked at the two in disbelief as he realized who they were.

    "Rahu!" exclaimed Chase as he noticed the same eery pink alloy."But I destroyed you!"

    "Indeed," responded one of the Rahus, this one with a feminine voice to match its form. "You killed us and we needed a host, so we merged with these humans. We had split into two to be able to merge without losing power."

    "But this isn't important right now," spoke up the other Rahu."We need you to help us with a mission that involves that gun the man was holding."

    "What does this have to do with me?" asked Chase."Why should I help you when you tried killing me?!"

    "Allow me to demonstrate what will happen if you don't help us,"said the first Rahu. She picked up Chase by the arm, dangling him like a small toy. Holding him in front of her chest, wires bursted out and wrapped around Chase's small body. Chase began to scream as the wires began retracting into her chest, pulling Chase into her.

    Chase found himself in an organic chamber, no machinery could be seen since it was too dark. The wires released him and left the chamber, leaving Chase by himself. He could hear the nearby heart beats of Rahu's human heart, slowly calming him down. He heard Rahu speak up.

    "If you refuse to help us, you will then be of no use," explained the Rahu he was in."I will have no choice but to absorb you and use the true power you possess to annihalate everything. You are the only one who can save this world. Watch."

    Chase felt something pierce the back of his head and a sudden flash filled vision as he saw a diagram of his Robo. An outline of his body appeared within the frame and a blue circle entrapped the figures.

    "You have a special power dormant within you," explained Rahu. "You give a severe boost of power to any Robo you control, giving even an Oil Can power to surpass illegal Robos. Of course the problem is that your power only works if you are physically merged with your robo and thus why we had to merge you. You can still merge with anything else, even us, but it can possibly be permanant if that happens."

    "So I'm the only one capable of stopping whatever's going on here?" responded Chase. He walked around the small pink chamber, thinking about what to do. Eventually he gave a sigh and finally gave a response. "Fine, I'll do it. Just let me out of here!"

    "Ah... about that last part," replied Rahu with a tone of embarassment in it. "I can't really let you out. Those wires only pull things in, not out. But that won't matter anyways, since we need to take you to your destination anyways."

    Chase looked in disbelief at what he heard and felt rumbling under his feet. Outside, the two Rahus began to change, wings forming on their backs and launched from the isle, heading for the Z-Syndicate base.

Chapter 5: Infiltration

    The two Rahus slowly glided along the black sky, though it was midday. Their shadows loomed on the ground below them, gliding in sync with their masters. In one of the Rahus, Chase sat, contemplating what he is going to do.

    "I can't really do much in here," Chase thought aloud. "Unless I merge with you, I'd only blast a hole through you. Even then, I don't know what will happen if I do merge with you!"

    "Don't worry,"said one of the Rahus."You can split with the robo you manifest, even choose where you emerge."

    Though she couldn't see his face, Rahu knew that he wasn't happy at all. She overthought about this and nearly collided with an oncoming peak. She slipped past and continued on the designated path.

    "You mean that I could have gotten out of here this whole time?!"cried Chase. "Why didn't you tell me?"

    "Because you would have escaped if you knew," said Rahu. "Too late now, we are here. Ahhh... and our Reconaissance has arrived as well!"

    The two Rahus landed on a cliff right next to the base, where another cloaked figure stood. The figure reached at the hood of his cloak, revealing to be a human being. He wore glasses and his hair was ragged and long. He looked like he hasn't seen the light of day in years, yet his figure and posture shown otherwise.

    "My name is John,"said the man, aknowledging his knowing of Chase. "It seems my inventions were causing all these problems..."

    "You invented is robo?!"exclaimed Chase."And the secret weapon?"

    "Indeed I did, but it's about to get worse,"responded John."It seems that those twins managed to sieze my ultimate weapon of size control, the Shrinker Satellite. It is capable of shrinking the worlds people, except the people who control it."

    Chase, inside of Rahu, touched the organic wall in front of him. Wires suddenly appeared from his arm and pierced the organic flesh. He felt himself get pulled in and suddenly blinded. When he could see again, he standing in front of John, looking through Rahu's eyes.

    "I assume that the reason why we are here is to stop that satellite from launching?"asked Chase/Rahu. John looked at him with a look of defeat, causing worry in Chase.

    "That is far too late,"said John."The satellite was launched last week. Instead , we are going to have to stop the twins from firing the cannon. Are you up to it, Chase?"

    Chase/Rahu looked at a nearby peak and aimed her hand at it. A large cannon emerged from her palm and blasted the peak to smithereens. A grin appeared on her face as she looked to John.

    "This better get me a bonus!" Chase/Rahu said.

    In a deep dark tunnel, John and the two Rahus tread along an old mine track, Chase split from his captive Rahu and riding her shoulder. They looked ahead to see a figure standing in the dark, this one definately not an ally. It was Isabella in the flesh.

Chapter 6: Heartless Machines

    Isabella approached, giving them a menacing grin. They looked at her, wondering what she could be planning. Rahu began aiming her cannon at Isabella, but was stopped when Chase began pointing at Isabella.

    "Something is up," said Chase, examining the area."Isabella wouldn't be here so recklessly, she might have something to protect her."

    He began scanning Isabella, looking for something like a weapon. Finally, he spotted something on her, or rather, inside of her. He thought he was malfunctioning, but then he was sure. There was a Rakensen robo inside of her.

    "What did you do to Oboro?!" demanded Chase.

    "Simple," responded Isabella. "I ate him. He went down deliciously, sliding sliding down so smoothly and squirmed in my belly! So pleasurable!

    "Why you-!" cried Chase, flying furiously at Isabella. She suddenly disappeared, Chase's fists missing her. She suddenly reappeared behind the team and a cannon grew out of her arm. She fired, sending dragon-like shots scattering haphazardly.

    "Strike Vanisher and Wyrm abilities?!" cried John. He pulled out a standard gun and began firing at Isabella to no avail. She reappeared behind him and sent him flying with a gruesome punch. He collided into a steel wall and collapsed onto the floor, lifeless.

    Chase began scanning Isabella again until he spotted something. Rakensen was beginning to melt and digest.

    "She is absorbing Rakensen!" exclaimed Chase. "That must be what is allowing her to use those abilities!"

    "Then it's you who will have to stop her,"replied Rahu. Isabella suddenly appeared behind her, but Rahu was ready. Rahu grabbed and held down Isabella, preventing her from moving. Two tendrils appeared and held Isabella's mouth open.

    "You have to retrieve Rakensen before she completely absorbs him!" cried Rahu.

    "I am already using a lot of power just holding her down and nuetralizing her weaponry. Save Oboro and merge with Rakensen!"

    Chase reacted, flying above Isabella's head. He began his decent slowy, entering her cave-like mouth. He landed near the back of the throat and gently touched the reflexive area. The pressure pulled on his tiny body as he flew down her throat into her stomach.

    Chase felt weird, as if his body was tingling, but he ignored it as he entered the cavernous belly. Directly in the center, he saw Rakensen, mostly frame was remaining on his body.

    "Oboro!" shouted Chase. "I'm here to get you out!" The Rakensen robo looked to him and responded," Do you think you can get us out of here?! This place is preventing us from using any of our machinery!"

    Chase walked to the Rakensen and touched it. He felt the acids burning his armor, but he ignored it. The merging began as tendrils like Rahu's began drilling into Rakensen.

    "It seems my abilities work!" exclaimed Chase. Suddenly his body merged with Oboro's and the takeover was complete. But something still felt off...

    That's when a shot nearly hit Chase/Oboro as they dodged the hit. There was another robo there, an unusual Octopus-like robo. Chase scanned the Robo and gasped.

    "This is the cause of the digestion! They made a robo capable of making its host into a robo?" asked Chase.

    He didn't get a response, as the robo began firing again. The battle has just begun.

Chapter 7: Life or Digestion?

Chapter 8: The Battle of Lightning and unexpected surprises

Rahu stared in disbelief as John's arm slowly turned into a Dragon Gun. She snapped out of it just in time to avoid a slash from one of the newcomers. Her arm turned into a Drill Gun and barreled them into the wall.

"Is this how you survived that blast?!" cried Rahu. John looked at her sheepishly as he replied, "There might be some things I never told you..."

"We need to have a talk!" thundered Rahu. "And where were you during that fight earlier?" She glared at the Rahu clone.

Suddenly, one of the Unknown robos slashed at John and ripped a huge gash into his chest. He responded lightning fast and obliterated the Robo with an array of Dragon blasts.

"Rahu! You and your clone must find Chase," shouted John. "I'll save Sergei and defeat the remaining two."

Rahu didn't hesitate and she and her clone flew off down the corridor. The unknown robos attempted to follow, only to be stopped by John's violent slashes.

He immediately began to glow and his body changed, forming a slender Robo.
"Behold, my true form," said John, "Nexus Y!"

Chase was impressed by his speed, as he zipped down the corridor he was in at impossible speeds. Rakensen X was truly a marvel. Suddenly, he felt a slight irritation in his head as a voice spoke up.

"Can you please defuse with me already?!" It was Oboro, who seemed to have gone unconsious during the fusion. "I want my Robo back already!"

Rakensen X stopped in midair, its controls suspended from the reawakened Oboro. Chase stared out from its eyes in irritation.

"Will you move fast enough if I defuse with you?" asked Chase. He didn't hear a response, but in his mind, he could see the silouette of Oboro nodding eagerly. Chase automatically activated the defusion program, and Rakensen X diffused. Rakensen came barreling out and a new robo stood there, still recognizable as Chase. This one was almost the same as the other form, but the guns on it were now normal sized to it and the head was actually Chase's head with a metallic sheen.

"Well this is interesting," said Oboro, inspecting the Robo, "If I am correct, that is the Vayne X." Chase stared at Oboro, shocked at what he just heard.

"You know what this is?!" shouted Chase. Oboro nodded in reply.

"There was an inventor, who had a desire to create size changing robos. He created the first Merging Robo and the Shrinker Satelite. The Robo had a unique ability to merge with the satelite, which the authorities didn't take a liking to. As a deal, the inventor created three robos capable of defeating the Merger, even when it fuses with the satelite. They were Vayne X, Nexus Y and Genesis Z."

"What was the name of the inventer?" asked Chase, after Oboro finished the briefing. "Also, where are the Merger and the other two robos?"

"Merger is unfortunately with Eliza and Isabella, from what I heard inside of Isabella," Oboro replied, " Nexus Y is said to be with the Inventor and as for Genesis Z, she's right behind you."

Chase turned around to see someone looming above him. It was a silver robo, almost looking like a Milky Way Robo.

"Chase is that you?!" cried Marcia.

John/Nexus Y changed his arms into crescent blades, sparking with electricity and glowing heavily. The Unknown Robos flanked him and the one with Sergei suddenly regenerated its arm and blade.

"I'm only going to take 4 seconds to beat both of you," said John. "Then, I will save Sergei!

John suddenly disappeared. Time around him was nearly frozen, and he dashed at the Unknown Robo without Sergei and literally turned it to scraps. He had a sudden sharp pain in the back of his neck and he turned around to see the other Robo was moving freely. The robo once again attacked and manage to cut off one of John's arms. Even as Nexus Y, he took alot of damage and suffered the agony.

"Master will kill me if I don't beat you!" cried John. His deattached arm suddenly grew tendrils and reattached to John's body. It morphed into a clawed arm and blades sprouted out of the sides.

"I said, I want to finish this in 4 seconds," exclaimed John, as he bursted at the Robo and The claws gripped onto its chest piece. With a sickening crunch, he ripped off the piece and the robo collapsed on the ground.

John reverted to normal and examined the Ruhiel inside of the piece. He looked in frustration as he examined its life signs. Sergei was dead.
