Nanobot

(Dr. Kafka)

Quote looked upon Dr. Date Fuyohiko as he disintegrated into a gaseous red substance. The Doctor was now destroyed, and Quote took one more look at the incarcerated Mimigas as he climbed up out of the King’s Table. He now found himself in a strange room filled with floating blue eyeballs. It didn’t take long for him to realize that he was looking at the repaired core that he and his comrade Curly Brace had almost smote, before the Doctor and his sidekick Misery came in and warped it to a repair lab. Quote gazed at the biggest eyeball at the far end of the room and pulled out his trusty Spur. Charging the laser up to full power, he walked to the large eyeball and held his gun aloft.

“HOLD IT!” said a frustrated voice. Quote flinched and released his shot at the ceiling out of shock. A figure materialized in front of him, which was revealed to be a worn-out and disgruntled Misery. She held up her staff, and soon the cursed girl Sue appeared beside her.

“If you care for this one’s life, come no closer to the core,” Misery growled. Quote stepped back, holding his gun to his side.

“Ha! For a robot, you have very human-like emotions. Let’s strike a deal; if I give you this girl, you’ll leave immediately and never speak a word of these recent fights between us,” Misery offered “Is it a deal?” Quote looked down for a moment, as if to ponder the matter. He held his gun behind him and charged it to maximum power. He silently stepped back again and shot at Misery’s head. Misery fell backwards, and Sue took the opportunity to run to Quote’s side.

“Why, you little…” Misery shouted, but before she could lunge, a ghostly cackle filled the room, and a strange red gas appeared behind Misery.

“Misery… You can’t escape me…” said the voice. Misery looked behind her to discover that the red gas was the owner of the voice.

“Who do you think you are?” she spat.

“Ha ha ha… Have you already forgotten the voice of your old master?” the voice condescendingly queried.

“It can’t be…” Misery muttered, but it was; the Doctor still lived. The gas that was the Doctor enveloped Misery and morphed her into a horrible Gargoyle-like creature.

“Until you die, you are my puppet…” said the Doctor. Misery struggled as she seemed to have yet to cope with her new form.

“Um, hey, we gotta go,” Sue whispered to Quote. Just as the two began running, however, the Doctor took Sue as well. Soon, Sue was a furry troglodyte that appeared to crudely mock her Mimiga form.

The core opened up its eye to reveal the Doctor’s enraged face.

“You must die!” the Doctor addressed Quote. The other eyeballs opened their lids and began moving. Quote jumped on them just in time to avoid Sue’s attack.

*SEVERAL VERY BORING BATTLE DESCRIPTIONS LATER*

The core was now enveloped in smoke, and the Doctor’s ghastly face melted from it as the core closed its eye. Sue and Misery were back to their old forms. The Doctor was now completely annihilated. However, the core remained in tact. Misery was holding aloft her staff, and she appeared to be keeping the core alive. After a couple of minutes the core was now lodged back in its suspension chamber, and Misery stood up. She quickly pointed her staff at Quote and launched a black bolt at him. Quote, unprepared for such an attack, was struck by the bolt. He absorbed the bolt and collapsed into a kneeling position. He slowly began to shrink, right in front of Misery and Sue. Quote stopped shrinking at precisely 1 inch. Misery rose and walked to where Quote was.

“I refuse to lose to a single robot, and especially not you!” she said. She picked Quote up off the ground. Misery’s clutch immobilized Quote, not even allowing him to grab any of his guns. Misery laughed as she observed the tiny robot struggle in her grip.

“Where’s your arsenal now?” she taunted. She threw Quote to the ground and pinned him with her foot. Quote struggle beneath the heavy, cushion-like sole of her foot. Being a robot, the no stench was able to add insult to injury. Even then, Misery was applying a fair amount of force to Quote. Quote felt like he was beneath a mattress with a 16 ton weight on it.

Quote tried to crawl out from under the foot, but in the process got trapped between two massive, yet somewhat soft toes. He was again immobilized.

“As I said before, you have very human emotions… so why don’t we see if you can feel fear?” she laughed. Quote’s arms were suspended above Misery’s toes, and he was unable to reach any of his guns. Misery started to compress her toes as tight as she could. Quote was trying to resist the overbearing pressure, but he couldn’t even slip his hand down to discharge a fireball.

“Let’s see if you can also experience getting your head popped off!” Misery laughed. Quote was about to burst at the pressure she was now applying. The toes went from cushiony to rock-like in a split-second. But just in time, Misery was suddenly flung across the room. Sue had reawakened and saw that Misery was torturing the tiny Quote. Out of gratefulness, Sue saved Quote and tackled Misery to the other side of the room.

“That ought to show you, you cruel witch!” Sue shouted.

Misery recovered, standing right in front of the monolithic core. She realized that she dropped her staff and let go of Quote. Sue noticed Misery’s staff glowing on the floor in front of her. Sue quickly grabbed it and snapped in her hands. Misery was in awe, having just seen one of her own staves broken before her eyes. The Mimiga’s anger had given her the adrenaline push to destroy the rod. With that said, the core was no longer under the stability spell, and it immediately fell out of its container, paralyzing Misery in the same way she had just done to Quote, only far worse. The floating island began calamitously vibrating.

“We’ve gotta get out of this place before it blows!” Sue thought aloud. She noticed the tiny Quote, and grabbed him. Quote was trapped again, only this time in a furry fist instead of between Misery’s toes. Sue dashed madly out of the core room, leaving the barely-alive Misery underneath the gigantic time bomb.

Sue fell right through the King’s table, unable to see that the once-trapped Mimigas had escaped. Sue ran out of the Throne Room, completely unaffected by the massive fall she had made because of her adrenaline. As she made it outside, she saw falling bricks. She needed to run fast, and therefore she couldn’t have anything in her hands so that she could run fast. Problematically, Quote was in her hand. She put him somewhere where she could hold him yet still have free running hands to get the extra boost; in her mouth. Sue stuffed Quote in her mouth, making a mad dash across the landscape. Quote was pinned between Sue’s tongue and the roof of her mouth, using his air tank to repel the saliva. Sue’s mouth was shaking madly, and Quote could only hang on to Sue’s front teeth in an attempt not to be swallowed. Sue’s tongue curled up and made a barrier that protected Quote from slipping into Sue’s stomach. Quote laid against Sue’s cushiony tongue, slightly more comfortable.

Sue tripped over a rock and accidentally spat Quote out. Quote tumbled out, rolling right into the open door of a small building, and through that door was a hole that he fell through. Sue was worried about Quote, but she was too frantic and continued running, with her tears acting as running goggles.

Meanwhile in the hole, Quote was recovering from the intense fall that he just had. He looked around himself, finding nothing but red and orange brick, steam, and a bit of soil. The soil had a sign that optimistically read, “Welcome to Hell!” Quote trembled at this, but was caught off guard as the soil crumbled beneath his feet and he fell downwards. Just as he was about to crash, he remembered his jet-pack and slowed his descent. He landed on the ground safely for once and looked next to him; his friend Curly was out cold. He immediately ran over and started pounding on her. She soon awoke and looked around. She noticed her tiny comrade right next to her.

“Quote!” she realized “But how did you-- never mind! We’ve gotta get outta here!” She picked Quote up, but she realized that it was difficult to run with two objects in her hands, so she put Quote in a considerably better place than where Sue would’ve; in her cleavage. Quote was now comfortably held in Curly’s chest, but nonetheless, he still picked up his Spur and held it out in case anything were to come at Curly that she couldn’t shoot. Curly held her Nemesis up and ran forth. Once again, a hail of bricks pelted the ground trying to hit our heroes. Curly swiftly dodged each, but soon she found that winged cherubic archers were blocking her. She couldn’t hit all of them at once with her Nemesis, but luckily Quote could fire a second beam that helped to take them out.

They soon found a hole that led them to a safer room. But the room wasn’t entirely safe; angelic swordsmen were now attacking! To top that off, there were larger angels that threw bricks at Curly as she neared them. Quote’s Spur drove right through each of them, however. After traveling further through Hell, Curly found a chest that awarded 24 super-missiles. She held them in her inventory, saving them for Quote. The room after that contained a large ceiling-mounted machine that fired lightning at Quote and Curly. Quote fell deeper into Curly’s bosom, but still keeping his gun pointed upwards and firing fully charged shots. Curly backed him up with her power-house Nemesis. After a while, the machine fell out of the ceiling, almost flattening Curly, but she dove out of the way in the nick of time. Quote rose back up after Curly stopped running.

A hole had been dug out by the weapon’s impact, allowing Curly to follow. She followed it into a room of very weak-looking statues. She shot at them with some suspicion. They gave out health packs, which she shared with Quote so that they could be restored to full stamina.

“This is one crazy place, huh?” Curly said “I think I know who shrunk you; it was Misery wasn’t it?” Quote nodded at both of these queries.

“She seems to have a real big grudge against us, doesn’t she?” Curly rhetorically commented. Quote nodded, readjusting himself between Curly’s synthetic skinned breasts. She took notice.

“Do you like hanging out in there?” she teased. Quote shook his head immediately and sank a little deeper to hide his embarrassment-grin.

“Heehee, don’t worry. I don’t mind if you like being snuggled there,” she giggled “Besides, you look real cute when you try and hide in them.” Quote slightly revealed himself a bit more.

“Anyway, let’s get a move on,” she said, moving towards the next door. She opened it, only to fall straight into a room that was apparently decorated by H.P. Lovecraft; skulls adorned the floor, strange writings were engrave in the walls and pillars, red spikes were place randomly, and a throne coated in eyeballs took the center of the room. On that throne sat a shut-eyed golem with priest-like clothing.

“Welcome!” he announced “I am Ballos. I was once a--

BLAH BLAH BLAH STUFF YOU DON’T NEED TO KNOW BLAH BLAH BLAH

“Now, kill me, or…” Ballos spoke “I WILL KILL YOU!” With that, Ballos opened his eyes to reveal one of his eyes was white, and the other was red. He soared into the air and attempted to body-slam Curly. Quote fired a Spur shot at him just as Curly dodged. Ballos didn’t react, but he was still scuffed up from the blast. A wave of skulls came from the ground and attacked Curly, nearly sending her into a pit of red spikes. In retaliation, Curly drew her Nemesis and shot at Ballos’ eyes. Ballos screamed in pain, now blinded. He flew to the ceiling, where an army of apathetic green bats were hovering.

Ballos returned from the ceiling as a large sculpture of his head. He began bouncing all around the room in an attempt to crush Curly. Curly jumped on top of his head and started blasting at his eye. This time Ballos couldn’t directly retaliate, but Curly couldn’t keep her grip as the large sphere kept bouncing so rapidly. Quote in the meantime was having a hard time staying above Curly’s breasts. He was trying to switch his Spur with his Nemesis to help Curly deal more damage quickly, but he couldn’t since the constant movement was pushing him farther and farther down her cleavage.

After a couple of minutes, Ballos’ large head stopped moving and allowed Curly to rest on the ground. However, he grew 8 spiked eyeballs around his head and began floating around the room with the eyeballs acting as rotating shields. Quote took his time to resurface with his Nemesis.

“His eyes are closed now…” she said “But the other 8 aren’t!” She took aim and shot at the eyeballs that guarded Ballos. Each one shut almost instantly as they were hit. After all of them closed, Ballos opened his eyes, and Curly shot through each gap in the shield to nail his eyes, while Quote was preparing his missiles in front of Curly’s chest. Ballos eventually succumbed to Curly’s crack-shot aim and her gun’s caliber. A lot of thick gore started to seep through his rotting skin. The eyeballs around him did the same.

“PAIN… I’M IN… P…A…I…N!” Ballos rasped loudly. Quote had finished his warhead preparations and tugged on a lever, tumbling back between Curly’s breasts. An orange barrel mounted on Curly’s chest released an almost infinite flurry of red warheads, which sent Curly flying to the ground because of the recoil, but more importantly, obliterated Ballos. Ballos evaporated without a trace, not even the gore that he frothed from his mouth. The island stopped vibrating.

“We did it! The creator of the demon crown is destroyed!” Curly shouted in rejoice. She jumped excitedly, and Quote attempted to show joyfulness while staying balanced in Curly’s cleavage.

“NO… NOT LIKE THIS… IT BURNS…” said the disembodied voice of Ballos “CAN’T… B…R…E…A…T…H…E…” The walls of the Satanic room began to close together, sealing all exits completely.

“No! We’re scrap-metal now!” Curly said. Quote hid deeper in Curly’s cleavage out of fear. The walls pushed closer and closer together, eventually squeezing Curly (who was now paralyzed with fear) and also her breasts, which trapped Quote in a soothing prison that was squeezing him slowly.

“Oh yeaaaaahhhhhh!” shouted a proud and heroic voice.

“Huh?!” Curly exclaimed. Crashing down through the wall was a giant bar of soap with a face and limbs. That falling object was named Balrog.

“Curly! Grab on to my back!” shouted Balrog. Curly, without thinking, leaped onto Balrog’s back.

“Hang on tight!” announced Balrog. He began flapping his “arms” madly and drove straight through the ceiling of the room and off of the island.

“Hey, is your head okay?” asked Curly.

“I hope so…” moaned Balrog. Soon they were flying through the skies above the Earth. Quote began growing and jumped out of Curly’s chest, clinging onto Balrog.

“You’re back to normal!” Curly cried, as she climbed onto Balrog’s head.

“Heh, Misery must have just remembered that,” remarked Balrog.

“Misery?” Curly asked.

“You destroyed the maker of the demon crown, which freed us. Out of gratefulness, Misery sent me to save you guys. She probably also remembered that she shrank the silent guy,” explained Balrog. As he said this, a figure on the balcony of the island stood with hair that flowed in the breeze. The figure waved, and the two robots waved back. The figure leaped into the air and began flying alongside Balrog. The figure was revealed to be a more upbeat Misery.

“Thank you for freeing me, and sorry for shrinking you,” she said.

“Oh, it’s okay,” Curly said “I think Quote actually enjoyed being tiny with me.” She elbowed Quote playfully. Quote looked down as if to hide a blush. Misery and Curly laughed.

“So,” interrupted Balrog “You guys realize we can go wherever we want now, right?”

“Oh, yeah,” Curly realized “How about we go somewhere where we can relax and not worry about anything? I’ll even let you pick the spot.”

“Really?” Balrog asked excitedly.

“Sure. You deserve something nice,” said Curly.

“Alright! I know just the place!” With that, the four of them flew off in search of Balrog’s chosen location.
