GS Tale of the Desert City: Episode Blue

(Senkou)

Prologue

The harsh, desert wind picked at his heels.

The Vetrad Desert is small, yet very deadly desert. It couldn't even be 1/10 of what of the Sahara would be.

The man's destination was Vetrandi City. It was not located in the desert, but rather off to the edge of it, surronded by a mountain range. This

provided natural protection from the desert heat and wind, and as such, become an oasis, which later flocked into a city. It is a vast city that

is spilt into two sections, a business district and a entertainment district. The entertainment district is nothing more then tourist trap, as such

made the that part of the city well-kept and clean. The "business" district could barely be called that, because other then the Police HQ and the

city's utilies, it is all run down. It used to be an old part of the city, however, the entertainment district was more popular, therefore closing it down.

Now it is ruled mostly by gangs. This district is also the closest to the desert.

The fierce wind blew, and small sandstorms erupted. The desert had never been used in hundreds of years, thanks to the fact that few who entered

had ever returned.

However, this fact did not stop the man one single bit from taking this route. It was the shortest one, the other one being to the entertainment district.

That way was riddled with unneccassry hold-ups, and he had to get to the city fast.

Damn desert......this really does deserve to be called the "Desert of Sroching Death" was the all the man could think as he continued on his

path.

**********

BANG! " Hey! He ran into that old warehouse!". An explosion had just blasted a hole into one of the old warehouses in the business district.

"Well, don't just stand there! After him!" the woman shouted at the near-useless police officer. Where are good cops when you need one?The

force of this city is deploring....

The woman was none other then Chun-Li, police officer of Street Fighter fame. She had been transferred from her Interpol office at New York

to Vetrandi, over the fact that there had reports of increased Shadowloo activity in the area and she was best suited aganist them.

Chun-li ran into the warehouse, and was on trail of the man. He seemed small, skinny, and because of that, made him extremely quick. Chun-li,

however, was faster. All her years of martial arts training granted her speed and agility.

In about two minutes, she had nailed him. She grabbed the back of his sweater, and from the speed he was at, choked him a little. The recoil from

that sent him backwards, right into Chun-Li, who gave a swift right roundhouse kick to his back. He fell like a rock.

Hmm.......he doesn't seem to be in with Shadowloo.....they usually do team ops, not single ones she thought as she looked him over. Well....time to

rap this up She looked to one of the nearby police officers. "Take him away for interrogation!" Her order was quickly followed.

Leaving the warehouse, she took one last look within before leaving. All seemed quiet, except for a rat or two scurring on the ground. After about a minute,

she finally decided to leave.

And all the while, a pair of crimson red eyes were staring at her from the ceiling.......

Episode Blue

*********

In the desert, a human-shaped figure is the only thing visable that is moving. The figure covered by a brown cloak and cowl, made to lessen the impact

of the desert winds and heat.

The man's pace was slow, thinks to the desert wind. The heat wasn't better either, it was atleast a good 115 degrees, thus the name "Desert of Sroching Heat".

How long is this desert? I can't have been walking for what seems to be over 2 hours. Just as he thought this however, the mountain range finally come to view, and

in the middle of it, the gate to the city.

About time! He quickened his pace and looked upward. His eye shined blue, and used a little energy to run to the door on his already sore legs. Heh, this

pain is nothing compared to would it could be. My will is stronger then it.

*********

*Vroom!* The engine roared. Chun-Li was in her in cop car.

She had been ordered by HQ to scout the area, on the effect that more possible attacks may be immient. If the man was indeed was working with someone

else, they couldn't be far behind.

"This is boring...." Chun-Li thought out loud as she patrolled the area. A familar building passed by, as was she circling every now and then to be sure of her patrol

before reporting to HQ.

However, in a alley way, a man in mask and claw stood. He had a long blonde ponytail, and a long snake tatoo on his chest. Chun-Li immediatly recoginzed him.

"Balrog!" With that, the car came to a seering halt, and she immtidately jumped out, and bolted towards the Shadowloo member.

Balrog, as if on cue, turned and ran down the alleyway. It was one way alleyway, with no sides out, and all windows were either too high to reach, or sealed shut.

Chun-Li was gaining on him, jumping over boxes, broken chairs, fences, dumpsters, bottles, and trashcans. However, every time she got close, Balrog seemed to speed

up just enough to be out of reach.

"Stop Balrog! I order you to cease and desest!" She was catching her breath, and yelled again. "You are under arrest for being a suspect of Shadowloo! Stop now!"

Balrog didn't stop. Instead, he went even faster. Two cases where I need to run the suspect down on the same day? I need a new job....

In about a minute, they reached the end of the alleyway. At the end, there was nothing but a single, metalliac door. As soon as he reached it, Balrog opened it

and ran in.

Chun-Li reached it about a minute later, and did the same thing. She then stopped for a minute to catch her breath. "Balrog! Where are you!"

All that returned was an echo. The room she was in was huge, and only a single window had any light coming in. That window must of been atleast 50 feet

above the ground! "Why is there a building this big? And why hasn't HQ heard about it?"

A door slammed. She snapped from her thought, and quickly scanned for the source of the noise. And in about the same time, found it. It came from door

opposite to her on a floor about 10 stories up.

"Well.....time to run again..." She then made her way towards the door.

**********

The door was large alright. It also bit rusty, and quite clearly shown little signs of use. It looked like opening it wouldn't be easy.

Now....how to open this thing.... He scanned the area, and found a small plate on the right side. The plate also showed signs of rust, and the lettering

was hard to read. The best he could make out was:

T. O..EN .HE. D.O., PR..S ..E. S..IC..H .O .H. .E.FT

He quickly found the switch, and pulled it. As luck would have it, it too was rusted over, and it broke it half.

Damn! All this way and blocked entry from non-use of a measly switch?! There must be another way! He pondered for a minute, and came quickly with an

idea.

He strecthed out his right arm, and placed his right hand on the broken switch. For a minute, nothing happened, but suddenly a flash of lightning erupted from the

man's hands! The shock caused the swtich to work, therefore to open the door. It was slow, but after a minute or two fully opened. It lead to a small hallway.

The man entered, and went down the hallway. At the end, was a small door. This one, however, was unlocked, so he went right through.

"So this the Vetrandi City, business district..." Indeed, the place was rundown. Liter was everywhere, and black smoke engulfed the clouds above. It didn't

look like a welcome place to live.

The man started walking, but after about three to four steps, stopped. What am I thinking.....time for a change of wardrobe. And with that thought, a small

flash of light envolped the man, and the brown cape disappeared. For the first time, we can now fully see the man.

He appeared to be in late teens or early twenties and appeared to look-like a European. His hair was a darkish blue, and was a little spikey. Only a little, most of it

was normal. His eyes were also blue, a light sky blue however. His suit to appeared to be like a karate gi and adventure's gear combined. At his feet, he wore boots,

with gold lineings along the top, bottom, and middle. His left boot was colored blue, and his right black. His pants were free fitting karate gi pants, and were also blue.

His vest was also like that of a karate gi, although it seemed to be less free fitting. He also had on a black belt, and set in it was a was a small silver sword hilt, with a

light blue pommel gem. Underneath was a black shirt. At his wrists, he wore two white armbands, and at his hands were gloves. The left being black, and right being blue. However, on the blue glove, was a Triforce-like insignia, with a black hole in the middle of it. The triangles each had a different color, the top being red, the left being green, and the right yellow. On top of all this however, was a blue cape, which, like his boots, also had gold linings around the edges.

Now that I'm in my normal clothes, time to advance forward. I just hope I'm not too late.....

********

Chun-Li had just reached the tenth story floor.

Upon reaching it, she immediately stopped to take a breather. Although committed to catching any member of Shadowloo, she had her limits.

Three runs in under an hour. This is isn't helping my job any. After about a minute, she finally went to the door. Like nearlly the whole building, it was a silverish

metallic color. It was left unlocked I know this is a trap, but I must continue if it leads me to Vega! Upon opening the door, it lead a small hallway, and yet another

door. And upon opening that one, it lead a small, dark room. She looked in for a second, and then ran in.

As soon as she did that, however, the door closed at its own, and locked. Chun-Li had been trapped! A few seconds later, blindingly bright lights turned on, and flooded

the room. Trying her best to see, Chun-Li could make out a clear window about 4"ft above the floor. A man in a cape and red suit sat, with Balrog off to his side.

"Vega!" The man in red sneered, and laughed. "Welcome, Ms. Chun-Li. I hope you are glad to see me?". Chun-Li was infurated at that statment, placed her hands in

front of her, palms facing eachother. Then, a blue flash or concentrated energy flashed between them, and was thrown at the window. "Kikuo Ken!". The blast did nothing but

disipate upon hitting the window.

The man in red laughed again. "Hahahaha....is that any way to treat your host? You are guest here after all. And as the host I must give you a present." Chun-Li yelled

back "The only thing I want from you is for you to cease to exist!" She valintely tried firing another Kikuo Ken, but like the first, ultimateily failed. The man laughed again,

and retorted the attack with "My cohort Balrog was so kind to lead you here, I thought you wanted your present. So, I shall I give it to you!"

As Vega said that, a panel at the top the room flipped over, revealing what looked to be a sort of metallic ray gun. The barrel of gun started moving, and pointed at its

target, and shot out a crimson red ray. Chun-Li, although valiant in her effort to dodge the ray, was hit. She screamed out in pain. Although the ray did no phyiscal

damage whatsoever, a red flash went over her whole body. She then fell over unconsious.

Vega then stood up and resumed his villianous laughter. "This is perfect....." he turned towards the door on his side leaving the room " ....it will be amusing to see...."

he started walking towards the door ".....destroy that all she has sworn to protect!" Vega exited the room. Balrog then entered Chun-Li's side of the room. A

light flickered, and then they were gone......

********

This isn't helping me any. The man was wondering the business the district, looking for the way into the entertainment district. The alleyways and streets

were littered with obsrections, which didn't make the search any easier.

Open entering an alleyway, something in the distance caught his eye. Is that the Great Steel Wall....? He moved forward, and his thought was correct. It was

indeed the barrier known as the Great Steel Wall.

The wall was made out of 100% solid steel, and stood to be about 100"ft. The wall was constructed shortly after the entertainment district came into being, and the

business district was shunned. Although the city officals state it's main use was to block aganist the desert heat, it's real purpose was to hide the city's

darkside.

That's my destintation. Then the man started into the next alleyway. However, this alleyway was inhabited. It was one of the gangs.

Damnit....I HAD to go into this one..... As he saw this, one the members saw him, and alerted his fellow gang members. Then, the whole gang stared at him. The man

continued forward, holding to his path. He was forced to stop where they stood, as they made a human wall impeding his progress.

"You seem pretty new here, see." one member said as he stared at the man. Then another added in "Must be, pretty sure it's far from Halloween." and with that, the whole gang erupted into laughter. Seeing this as a window of opprunitity, the man resumed his walk, but was stopped short by the gang. Then, they presided to surround him.

"Well, see, we are the Black Force gang! The only way your going to get past if you fight us all. see." The man gave a cold piercing stare at the gang member who seemed to be leader. "That means you'll have to fight us all." The gang totalled to be about 8 members. "Although, your lucky we fight with honor. We'll take you on one at a time, see". The man had no choice but to nod, and got into his postion. He made no effort to prepare himself however.

"Well, if that's how you want to fight fine by me!" He then pointed to one the seemingly weaker members "You! You'll start us off!" The chosen member then went to "arena". which was nothing more then a chalk circle on the ground. "Ready?" The member nodded, while the man did nothing. "Go!"

The new guy charged at the man, at kept going straight for him. The man didn't move an inch. Then, when the member got close enough, he throw a right cross, being sure

it would connect. However, it hit nothing but air, and at that second, was hit in the stomach. The man had ducked at the last second, and retorted with his own right cross.

The hit was so hard, the man coughed up blood, then he fell over, unconsious.

The man then returned to his normal stance, and acted as if nothing had happened. The other members of the gang just started in awe. Who is this guy?! Why haven't we heard of him?! He must be new....heheheh... was all the main member could think at the moment. Then he said "I'm not really surprised at that. That was our newest

member anyway. He was barely allowed in." He mentioned to the fallen member, and two of the other members moved him out of arena.

"Now! Onwards to the next battle!" He then pointed torwards another member, this one looking older and seemingly stronger. "You! Your up next!" The member

nodded, then slowly got up. He walked towards the man, and while cracking his knuckles said "You better be ready! No way you'll beat me!" And with that, he rushed at the man. Again, the man did nothing, and when the member had gotten close enough, he threw a right cross, but was responded with a right uppercut, sending him about a foot off the ground.

The man resumed his normal stance again and this time said "Is that everything you have? I have somewhere to be, so, why not have of all you go all at once?" The main member was shocked from what the man did and said, and agreed with the man's proposal. "Alright! If he wants you all to go, you all go! Everyone, GET HIM!" And with that, all the other members, which allotted to six, rushed at the man. The man did nothing to prepare.

Hmm....this might take a little while.... the man thought as the six rushed at him.....

*********

Chun-Li woke up slowly. Where.....am I What....happened?"

Sitting up, she noticed she was in an alleyway. I remember this place...It's where I chased down Balrog..Chun-Li immediately sprang to her feet, although her body felt weak and depleted. "Balrog! That's right! I should report to HQ on this!"

Then she stood up and slowly went towards her car. Although she was weak, she was still able to drive. Vega's ray....what did it do to me?

*********

"Argh! GAH!"

All the members of the gang were on the ground, trying to recover from their wounds. The man has soundly defeated them all, with no damage done to himself. The main

member did nothing but stare in awe and said "Who....who are you?!!" When he said this, the man started walking slowly towards him. The main member, shocked, turned and started to run down the opposite end of the alleyway.....only to be hit in the stomach from a person standing in the shadows.

The shadowy member had been there in the shadows the whole time, and finally revealed himself. "Heh, you know my policy. No running when a fight has been started!" From that, the man infered that he was the leader of the gang.

The leader was wearing a orange military vest, with a white shirt underneath. He also wore gray military style pants, and also had gray military boots. He was white, and had a scar on his right cheek. He also had two tatoos, a snake running the lenght of the right arm, and one of a lion on his left. His hair was jet-black, and was also a little spikey.

The leader then stared at the man "Heh, I can tell from that that you have some level of skill. Beating my men was no simple task." The leader started walking towards him. "But, it looks like you'll have to fight me instead. However, I would like to know the name of my opponent first. Care to tell?"

The man then replied with "Hmm, if you must know a name to call me by, just call me....Zero." The leader looked slightly puzzled and said "Zero eh? Never knew someone would be named at that. Well, mine is Marx." Then he got into his fighting stance, a typical boxing stance, and then said "Nice to meet you! Let's begin!" And with that he rushed at the man known as Zero.A flash envolped the area, and Zero's cape disappeared, in order to prepare for battle. Zero then prepared with his fighting stance, with right arm horiztonal with his neck, palm facing downward, and his left arm streched outward, parallel with his shoulder.

This is going to take a little longer.....

**********

SCREECH! Chun-Li's car had come to sudden halt. The car door opened suddenly, and Chun-Li fell to the ground.

"What is....happening....to me?!" Her body was suddenly stricken with intense pain all over. She kept screaming in pain, but no one was around to hear.

She was in the northwest sector of the business district, which was made up mostly of abadoned buildings. The buildings were in such a bad condition that no even bothered to take them down. They just stood there, growing old with time.

Her screams continued, as she tried to halt the pain, but it was useless. The pain wouldn't go away. Just then, however, the pain did. Chun-Li was amazed, but then she felt

a very strong feeling of power. Just as she did, she began to grow.

"What? This isn't happening...." she said as she noticed her surrondings were growing smaller. The growth started slowly, but at about 30"ft, the process hastened, until she stopped growing at 65"ft tall. However, that growth spurt accompained with the pain from earlier had knocked her out.

Luckily, no one was around to see the specticale.

*******

This man is good....too good Zero thought as he blocked a right cross from his opponent.

They had been fighting for atleast five minutes, and neither had gained any ground. Marx launched attack after attack, but to no avail, as Zero defended aganist them all.

"Fight back, damnit!" Marx yelled as he brought back his arm and simulataneously arched back his right leg and kicked outward. Zero blocked this raising his left leg in the form of a shield to deflect it.

I've wasted enough energy, I can't waste anymore. Just then, Marx ducked, and come up with a right uppercut. It hit nothing but air. Marx, shocked, looked up. Zero had jumped in order to avoid his attack, and at the same, kicked at the right side of Marx's neck. The hit connected with full force. Marx stumbled back, but not without grabbing Zero's leg. Then, twisting his body, threw Zero at the wall! Zero hit it on his back, and yelled out in pain. Zero quickly got back to his feet, and started to rush towards his opponent I have to end this know!. Marx, in turn, did the same thing.

They both threw a right punch upon meeting, and both connected. Both combatants stumbled back, and fell over. Neither one moved. Several minutes passed, then....

Marx was the first to get up. He slowly sat up, and upon shaking his head, said "Damn....I didn't think he'd be that strong." He started slowly walking towards his fallen opponent. He looked at him, to check his condition. He was breathing, but he looked slightly bruised up. Just then, Zero opened his eyes and jumped to his feet. Marx did nothing but stare into his eyes, and Zero returned the favor in kind. Marx then suddenly relaxed and gave Zero his outstrecthed hand.

"Your a much better fighter then I thought you'd be. You've earned my respect. From now on, If you ever need help, just call the Black Force gang!" Zero continued to stare at Marx, then shifted his view to his outstrecthed hand. Suddenly, a small flash envolped the area as Zero's cape returned. Then, he slowly turned and started to walk. "Thanks, although I doubt I'll need it."

He then walked out the alleyway, and continued onwards towards the wall. Marx did nothing more then watch him leave, and said "Heh, bet I'll see him again."

*********

Chun-Li awoke slowly. W.where...am I? What happened?

She looked up, and saw the azure blue sky. Wait....I remember now.....I'm in Vetrandi City.... Slowly, memory about what happened returned to her. About the

warehouse, Balrog, Vega, the ray, and her sudden growth.

GROWTH!? The second she thought of that, she sat up, almost as if on reacition. CRUNCH! She heard the sound below her, the same second she sat up. The sound

seemed to have come from under her right leg. With a mixed emotion of curiousity and fear, she lifted up her leg and saw a small, crushed, object. Then, with her right hand, she picked up, it fitting completely into her palm, and slowly brought it towards her face.Upon seeing it, her eyes showed a emotion of the greatest fear.

It was a car. But not just any car. Her car. The car only had the frame for the tires left, anything above had been flattened. "It must of really happened...this doesn't feel like a dream... the car then slowly rolled off of her hand, and fell onto the pavement, creating a small crack in the old concretate. She looked up, and first saw her surrondings.

Her view was populated with building after building, Shockingly, she could over a few, just sitting down! I must be.....tall...to be able to do that... she commented to herself over this revelation. Then, she stood to her full height, at 65'ft.

I can see....alot from here....she thought, towering over the city. Indeed, she could see alot. Most buildings did obstruct her view at all, and those that did were

just a few ft taller then her. The whole city was in her view, she could see as far as the Great Steel Wall. She looked around, still amazed at the view.

HQ is probably wondering where I am.....I should pay them a visit And with that thought, she started walking toward the Police Station, her steps creating thunderous booms and small craters in the ground as she did. She looked down, and noticed how much power she had.

Nothing I can do to prevent damage....but...not like anyone cares about this section anyway...

**********

High above the city, a black ship was hovering in the sky. On the bridge, a large window was open, having a view open towards the city. Looking out was the man in red.

"Hmm, all seems to be going well." Vega said to himself upon seeing Chun-Li's actions. "She grew a bit more then I had anticapted, but no matter. My plan will take

effect nevertheless. She will give in to the corruption of the power she possesses and destory that city. I would do it myself, but it is more amusing to watch one who has

sworn to defend all, destory all!." and with that, started a maniacal laughter. Then, the door to the bridge slid open. Vega immediatley ceased his laugher and turned.

"It's you, Koten. What is your reason for disturbing me?" The man named Koten replied with "Yes, well sir, a man has entered the business district." Vega looked a little

agiated, and replied with "And? Men enter that district everyday! Whats so significant about this one?!" Koten was taken slightly aback, and said "Well, this man...he single

handedly defeated the Black Force gang." That made Vega raise his eyebrow slighty, and he returned with "So? That pathetic gang is nothing to us!." Koten then said "He also defeated their leader, Marx."

Vega was shocked at hearing this and yelled out "What?! Not just any man could defeat him! This man must have some skill. But no matter, he will die when Chun-Li reduces the city nothing!" Koten did nothing but stare at the dictatior. Then Vega returned the stare and said "If that is all, get out. And while your at it, stop carrying that katana around. I know you're new in Shadowloo, but if you wish to serve any further under me, take it off!" Koten nodded, and left the room.

Outside, Koten simply smiled. I don't have to do a damn thing you say...I could care less about you. This man is the only thing I'm interested in...I must keep my eye on

him for my master, who's 10x stronger then you are...pathetic fool.

And with that, Koten walked down the hallway towards his room.....

********

"Gah....this is annoying Zero thought, trying to outrun yet another gang.

Zero was taking the southern district path, and unforunately for him, was where most of the gangs were concentrated around. And he went through yet another alleyway, infested with one.

This has to be atleast the third one so far....and I don't think I'm halfway yet! The first two gangs he speedily went through, but it tired him out a little. The third took

advantage of this and chased after him. "After him! No goes through our terrority without paying the toll!" Zero looked back for a second and thought Toll? Tch...something so patheitc..... Just as he did, one the gang members nearly caught him.

Screw this. with that thought, Zero stopped and crouched, and, as the gang members almost got to him, he sprang toward one of the alleyway's walls, and kicked off towards the other side. Open reaching it, he kicked off it again, and kept repeating until he was on top of the building towards his right.

Then, looking up, he noticed no one had thought to be on the rooftops.Fortunately, the buildings were built very close together, making jumping from rooftop to rooftop possible, avoiding the trouble below. Good, this will make things alot easier.

And with that, he continued on his way towards the wall, jumping from rooftop to rooftop.

********

"What....what the...." the astounded police officer said as he eyes lay sight to the damage Chun-Li had caused.

The police officer was on the daily-routine check of the northwestern section. Although no cared about it, it still needed to checked nevertheless.

"What could of....done this...." he said as he proceded further to survey more of the damage. The trip was a little hard, with the craters that Chun-Li's footsteps created

littered the ground. Just then, one particular sight in the distance caught his eye.

It was that of a car. Or, what was left of it. Upon seeing this, one could see the terror in his eyes through his gray helmet. Then, he pulled out his radio.

"Sergant Clark to HQ! Sergant Clark to HQ! Come in HQ!" he waited a few seconds, listening to static, waiting for a reply, then the radio come alive.

"This is HQ. Sergant. Clark, what is your report? Why do you sound so terrifed? What happened?!". Sergant Clark cleared his throat, and responded with "Yes sir! Something happened to the northwestern section! The streets are damaged beyond repair, and there is a car here that is crushed by what seems to be in-human power!"

The radio went silent for a second, then came back alive with "This is....disturbing news...Sergant. Is there is any clue as to what could of done this?". Sergant Clark scanned the area with his eyes, but found nothing that could link with what happnened. "No sir! None what so ever, sir!"

The radio again went silent, then come alive again with "Damn, what could of done this.... Sergant, you wouldn't have any information on the missing officer Chun-Li would you? I heard she went there after the warehouse incident earlier." Sergant Clark shoke his head to himself, and said "None, sir."

The radio continued "That is unforunate. Return to HQ, Sergant. With this new turn of events, we will need all men we can get." Sergant Clark replied with "Yes sir, Clark out." Then he preceded to return his radio to his belt, then it came alive again, this time with an very loud and unusual sound.

BOOM! Clark looked at the radio, and before he could say anything, it yelled out "It's....Chun-Li! She's returned to HQ! And....she's gigantic!" Then, the radio cut off.

Clark's eyes widened, then he hastily started his bike, heading towards Police HQ.

********

Hmm....that didn't take as long as I suspected. Chun-Li thought as she towered over HQ.

HQ was quite a large building, standing at 45 ft. tall. It was this large for the fact that is was needed to cover such a large city, and the fact that it was spilt in to made it no easier.

However, it was nothing compared to the titanic figure of Chun-Li. It came to the lower part of her chest. As expected the building was trifled with panic, as those on the

ground were terrified of the sight of her gigantic boots, and going up furhter, her legs. Those on the upper levels could see her stomach, and the ones in charge were brave enough to go on the roof, seeing everything up to her face.

Chun-Li, arms crossed, looked down on those on the roof. Some were men, and some women. Some of the men stared in amazement at her figure and couldn't stop drooling. The women in the crowd saw this, and soundly stopped their act. Then, Chun-Li said a simple "Hi".

Her voice was so loud that many in the crowd had crouched down and covered their ears. They appear to be so small and fragile.... Chun-Li thought, commenting herself on her new found stature. Then, one of the crowd came forth, with a megaphone. Chun-Li immediatly recoginzed him as the police chief.

"Officer Chun-Li! How....how did....this happen?!" his voice could be heard with a stroke of fear. Chun-Li was not surprised at this, and said " It was Vega." The people on the roof again had to cover their ears. Oops....At this height, my voice must be like a nuclear bomb going off... Chun-Li commented herself again on this observation. Then, she said in a quieter tone "Sorry." The crowd did nothing this time, however.

"That is fine. But you said Vega?! He's here?!" the police cheif yelled out. Chun-Li nodded, and said "Yes, in a large building on the western section." The cheif looked disturbed at his information, then said into the megaphone "I knew something was happening there. Damn! Oh well, nothing to do to change the past" he then changed his view from the ground of Chun-Li "How...how did Vega do this to you....and....why?"

Chun-Li looked a little confused, as if not knowing what to say, then explained what happened. She told him about the explosion at the warehouse, the chase after Balrog, and her ultimate meeting with Vega, in which she described the ray, and and how later she grew to her enormous figure."After that happened, I was knocked out from exhaustion, and after I woke up, walked here along the northern district."

The chief could do nothing but stare into Chun-Li's gigantic eyes as he tried to absorb it all in. Chun-Li returned the stare, and thought It must be hard for him....I know I would be if I saw a 65 ft. tall woman. The chief suddenly relaxed and said " Well atleast you seem to be fine, even in your current prediciment. I will get in contact with the science department if they cannot find a cure for your current status. I will also dispatch of my best squads to investigate the building you mentioned. I ask that sit tight for now, and relax."

Chun-Li raised an eyebrow at this and yelled "Sit tight?! I have more power then all of your police squads put together! And you want me to just sit tight?!." This yell brought all of the crowd save the chief to its knees. the chief look infurated at this, and in return yelled out. "Yes, sit tight! If you go after Vega alone, he is expecting that! He more then likely has some sort of trap set for you!" Chun-Li was taken slighty aback at this, and then returned with "So what! I'm the most powerful woman alive! What could Vega possibly do to me?!". And with that, she turned past the police station, and started running down the center of the city, her steps creating louder thunderous booms and larger craters in the ground.

"CHUN-LI!" the chief yelled at the top of his lungs into his megaphone. However, she was already too far away too hear it.

********

This is....starting to....get a little....tiring Zero thought as he jumped over another rooftop.

His chosen path had left him with little to no obstructions. His pace was steady, and had assumed he was atleast halfway through the city.

How much longer? The desert was one thing but now th...... Zero's train of thought stopped as he saw something to his left. He quickly looked in the direction of which

he saw it in, but it was gone. Whatever it was, it was fast, and huge. His eyes then showed a emotion of fear and thought to himself That...that..couldn't of been...not here....not this early...Am I already too late?!

No, it wasn't. If it was, this whole city would be in flames. he reassured himself. Still....what was that? That wasn't...normal he further thought as he continued to stare in the direction of where whatever it was. Then, shaking his head, thought No, I can't stop here. I must keep going!

Zero then quickened his pace, and continued towards the Great Steel Wall.

********

"No....it couldn't of been! It's impossible!!" Sergant Clark yelled out-loud after witnessing the titanic Chun-Li run past him.

He was still in the northern district, and was racing towards Police HQ. However, Chun-Li had passed him, going through the center of the city. Clark was able to see her fully as she did.

Damn...what is going on!? Then, he restarted his bike and continued towards HQ.

********

Above the city, the black ship still sits. Through the bridge's window, the man in red can be seen, and has a very wide smile on his face.

"Good, it's just as I predicted." he said as he witnessed how Chun-Li had acted. "I knew she would try to find me there. She'll be infurated once she finds I'm not...perfect

for my plan. All I have left to do is stand and watch."

And watch he did. He watched as Chun-Li had run across the city, taking would take a normal person an hour she did in about five minutes. Vega had a smile on his face the whole time. However, that smile soon changed to face of enfeeblement.

What? Why...why is she stopping? Chun-Li had suddenly stopped running somewhere in the westcenter of the city. Has she....figured out...my plan?

*******

Maybe the chief was right.....maybe this is a trap...

Chun-Li has suddenly stopped running, and pondered on this thought. Vega must of given this to me for a reason....He knew I would go after him...

Then, looking around, she looked behind her. The damage caused from her running was severe, and she thought to herself And I don't fell a single bit tired...not after those three runs from earlier today. Chun-Li then looked down and commented further with But look at what I've done....I've caused so much damage....

She suddenly looked up, and thought whilst holding her fist up in anger So what?! Vega could of done more then what I've done! Even if he does have a trap set for me, this is my perfect chance to get him! To avenge my father!

Then she turned towards the direction of the building and started running, with all the after effects accompaining her....

*******

"All of you! Get out of here! NOW!" Marx yelled out to his fellow gang members.

Marx had just finished tending his injured gang members that Zero had swiftly defeated. Luckily, none of them had severe injuries. He didn't seem willing to hurt them, really.

However, just as Marx did, he also saw the figure of Chun-Li.

"Get away from here! Go home!" Marx yelled demandingly at his fellow gang members. Most looked shocked, at both their leader and the sight they saw just a few minutes earlier. "But boss.....we..." one the members tried to say before being cut of by "No! Get out of here! I'll find out whats going on by myself!" Most the members looked even more shocked upon hearing this, because as they were a gang, they always solved problems together.

"But boss, we alwa....." he cut was off again "Not this time. There is no need to involve you all in this. It's a leader duty to see that his men are protected." All members looked down upon hearing this, then after about a minute or so, looked up and nodded. "Now, get yourselves home NOW!" The members scattered, and left the alleyway, their one true home.

Marx watched them leave, then closed his eyes and thought to himself Thank you.... Then, he opened his eyes, turned and went to his car. He started it, and left the alleyway.

I can't believe it. That was Chun-Li, one the city's best officers. How did this happen? Zero....this wouldn't have anything to do with you....would it? he thought as he went after the gigantic Chun-Li.

********

"Ha...ha....I....finally....made...it...." said Zero has he jumped down from the small flight of stairs on the last building he was on.

Zero had finally made it to the eastern side of the city, and more importantly, the Great Steel Wall. "Now...where's that...door?" he said as he searched for the door. A few seconds he saw it, a few feet away. That's it huh? he said as started to walk towards it. A minute later, a few reached it.

The door looked sturdy, seemed to be had of a harder material then the wall was. "Must be made to keep something out....no matter." He looked around for a way to open it, and found a small keypad. The small information line above it read "OUT OF ORDER Use the main door to the north." Zero looked frustrated, and thought Gah...another problem?! Today is not my day.. he thought as looked northward, and saw the main door. It would take a few minutes to run there. Running...again?

Upon reaching it, the door looked even more sturdier then the last one. Hmm....well this is the main door, so I'm surprised. Looking around, he found a small keypad, just like the last door. This one read however "Please insert the 8-Digit PassCode" Zero looked even more angry. "DAMNIT!" he yelled out. Where the hell am I supposed to get this damn passcode?! He then looked behind him hastily, and found a rather large building with the words "Police HQ" on the side of it. Maybe there.....?

Zero ran over, forgetting his exhaustion. He reached it quickly, because the HQ was the closest building located near the door, as to prevent the unwanted from leaving or entering. Upon reaching the main door, he stopped for a minute to catch his breath and thought Well...today is giving me one heck of an excerise..... Then, he looked in, to see that the first floor looked empty, deserted even.

"What? Is everyone off today?" he searched a little more, but found no one. Just then, a bike had started to come from his right, and the rider had stopped near one the side doors. Zero watched him and thought Hmm? Who is he? Maybe he knows the passcode? Zero started to walk towards him, when the man on the bike hastily jumped off and ran towards him. Zero could see that he had nametag, and it read "Clark". Clark, eh? Must be a cop, judging from his uniform. Clark was wearing your standard police uniform, except his was for officers on bikes, and his helmet was gray, not white

Then the officer known as Clark yelled out "You! Who are you?" Zero started to talk, but was cut off by 'Wait, nevermind that! You have to get of here!" Zero face took a puzzled look, and he said "Why? Why is Police HQ deserted?". From under his helmet, Clark could be seen to have taken a look of shock. Clark looked into the window, and indeed, HQ, or atleast the first floor of it, was deserted. "No....no! She couldn't of...." Clark said with a stroke of fear..

Zero seemed to take a look of a combination of both curiousity and fear and said "She.....?" Clark view shifted from the window to Zero and said "No...nothing...nevermind. You just need to...." his voice trailed off, as he had looked behind Zero. Zero then looked puzzled, then looked behind him. His eyes immediately took a look of shock.

What he was looking at was the craters caused by Chun-Li's running. The main street was littered with them., and few cars here and there were also destroyed. Zero's mind flashed back to what he had saw earlier, as he was jumping over the rooftops. So...this...is...what..that...was.... Zero thought, still looking in awe. Zero the turned to Clark, and with a look of sharp determination, said demendlingy 'You! You know what did this don't you! Tell me! NOW!" Clark shook his head, and quickly set his eyes on the face of Zero.

"It...it was...a giant woman..." Clark said with a dry throat. Zero eyes immediately lit up, and took a look of anger and hatred. "Where?! Where did she go?! WHERE?!". Clark was taken aback, trying to scramble the words together "T...to..the west...towards a large building.." Upon hearing this, Zero turned towards the west, and then ran. Whilst in mid-run, he jumped into the air.....and didn't come back down.

He's....he's flying?! Clark thought at this astonishing sight. Then, he began to run, in a vain attempt to catch Zero. "Stop! Whoever you...." his voice trailed off again and after about four steps, stopped running and then dropped to his knees. Today has been surely a weird one....I need a break. .Then, he looked up to see the vanishing image of Zero, in mid-air, towards the west.

But who? Who was that guy? And how can he fly?

*********

Back at the black ship, the shadowy newcomer watched the events below.

So...you've finally made your move. the man known as Koten thought, watching Zero's actions. I knew you would do that....thinking of her. So predictiable. He will be disappointed knowing its not....Oh well. Its amusing nevertheless..

His view out the window shifted from Zero to Chun-Li. Now woman....how will to react this, I wonder? This man known as the GS? He observed as Chun-Li had reached her desitination.

*********

So this is where it happened....this is where it all began.... Chun-Li commented as she stood above the warehouse where the explosion had occured, nearly a hour earlier.

She looked down. She noticed that the warehouse still had the whole in it, although all the cops from earlier were gone. They must of been called in when the chief got word of me.... She also noticed that the warehouse only reached to the low level of her shin, still amazed at her newfound height.

Her view then shifted from the warehouse to further north. It must be close.....I know I went only a few ways of north of here when I saw Balrog. She started walking in her chosen direction. The ground shook with every step she took, but she didn't care now. Vega....I know he's close....

Looking around, she saw many tall buildings. Because she didn't get that much of good look at with the chase of Balrog, it made things a little difficult. She started to walk, but then immediately stopped. Wait! Scid marks!. She remembered that when she saw Balrog, she stopped her car with force, probably creating scid marks. With that, she started to look down at the streets.

It only took a few minutes to find them. Good! Its here! she thought to herself, with a sense of relief. She ran towards the opening, and looked down the alleyway. Indeed, a large building was at the end, and seemed to be just as tall as her. And as luck would have it, the alleyway was just barely big enough for her to walk through.

Here I come, Vega! she thought as she started run down the alleyway, towards the building.

********

This is....this is...horrible Zero thought to himself on route towards Chun-Li's location.

He took the same route Chun-Li did, and was also surveying the damage done. Although Chun-Li probably didn't mean to, the main street was destroyed and would take months to years to fix it all. "This is terrible...gah!" Zero tried to say, but he was too tired. Just getting to one end of city on foot was one thing, but flying was another. Zero indeed had the ability to fly, however, it takes alot of energy to do so.

Just then, he reached the end of the street, and concidentally the other of side of the city. The total time was about four minutes, compared to Chun-Li's ten. "Now, where is she!? Zero said as flew around the last building that obstructed his view. He looked around, but no sign. "Where is she?! He said the west side..." Then, he looked at the ground, and saw more signs of destruction. "Idoit...this will lead me right to her." he said, thinking how obivious it was.

As he was flying back towards the alleyway, he saw her for the second time. Although amazed at the sight, he thought to himself, with a sense of disppointment It's not her....she wears red. Then he almost smacked himself and thought No matter! She's still a potential threat to this city!. He watched her for a second, and noticed that she was to trying to enter the building at the end the alleyway. Of course, for someone of her size, that was impossible. Thats when he noticed she was trying to tear it apart.

"What?! NO! Don't!" he yelled out, and then, seemingly having a renewed sense of vigor, flew down the alleyway at increased speed. I must stop her, whether or not she means harm!

********

Chun-Li had just reached the end . She looked at building in front of her. Vega....he's in there...I know it!

But.... how I do get to him? Not like I can extactly enter it.... Her newfound power gave her an idea, however. If I can't go in.....I'll make Vega come out!. With this in idea in tow, Chun-Li kneeled down, and placed both hands on the side of the building. Then she precided to try to rip the building in half, taking the upper half out.

However, before she even started, she felt a weak shock on her back. With a mixed emotion of anger and curiousity, she turned around. Where....where did that come from?! Looking around, she found no immediate answer to problem....unitl she looked up. Who is that? she thought as she looked at her attacker, and man in blue, hovering in mid-air, level with her chest. How is it that he is able to do that....?. Then she stood up, her attention focused on this newcomer.

"Who are you?" she said in normal voice, staring at him. The man however seemed to be unaffected by the sound of it, unlike those at Police HQ had.

The man then stared back into her eyes and said "The one who will....stop you."

******

Meh...I'm not surprised that didn't do anything Zero thought, staring into the giant women's eyes.

Just moments earlier, Zero had concentrated his energy into his right hand, and from it, envolped a lightning bolt. He shot it in attempt to attack her, but at her size, he would only come as a small shock. However, it did deal effective as to draw her attention.

The giant woman had taken a confused look at what Zero had said just a few seconds ago. "The one who will stop me...? Stop me from me what?". Zero then closed his eyes, and said "Heh....I just saw what you were trying to do....destroy that building". The giant woman looked behind her, towards the building she indeed tried to destroy, then looked back at Zero "That...? That building has someone of the greatest evil inside! He killed my father! With this new...." However she was cut off.

Zero reopened his eyes, taking look of anger in them. "So what?! You would destroy only for personal gain?! Destroy what others have the right to use just for yourself? And if there is indeed an evil one inside of there, then why cause so much so destruction for the sake of one man?!"

She was taken aback from this, as much as a giant woman could from a normal man. Then, staring angerily at her newfound adversary, yelled out "Who are you to know me?!". The man seem unaffected by this as well, and calmly said "I know enough to say that you've let your power go to your head."

Chun-Li was now really agiated at sound of that. "If I really have let this power go to my head, then why aren't you dead yet?!". Zero shrugged, and returned with "I don't know, why ain't I?" Chun-Li now stared at him with an intense rage. "Fine! I'll think I just do that!” and then started to bring back her right fist. Zero shruged again, and said calmly “Go ahead....if you can”.

Chun-Li then threw her gigantic right fist, it going toward her target of the man called Zero. It a matter of seconds it hit with the force of ten battering rams, and Chun-Li had a smile on her face when it did...until she drew her fist back.

She had done....nothing to man, other then push him back a few feet. No damage whatsoever could be seen, in fact, he looked as if he was at full strength. Zero then smirked and said "I guess you can't, can you? Don't have enough power to kill one man?" Chun-Li absorbed his words, still staring in utter disbelief. "How....how did you...that had more then enough to send you flying for miles...." Zero, still smirking, brought his right hand to his side and said "That was nothing...I'll show you power." and then vanished into a blur.

Chun-Li was bewildered for a few seconds, then felt a strong force hit her on her cheek. It was so strong that it actually made her stumble back. That...that couldn't have of been him.... she thought as she recovered from the attack, and saw that Zero had returned to his orginal position. Chun-Li then said "Just....just who are you?"

Zero took another odd look of calmness and said "I already said it....the one that will stop you."

********

"Who....who IS that man?!" Vega was shocked upon the sight he just witnessed.

Comprehension of the event that just occured seemed out of his grasp. "How...how...could a normal person do THAT to someone 10x their size?! Not even my Psycho Power could achieve that..."

"I can provide an explantion" Vega turned around, to see that Koten had once again entered the doorway. Vega looked at him with a look of disbelief and said "What would one such as you know? One that begged and pleaded to join my organization because he seemed to not have any worthwhile skills at all?" Koten simply shruged and said "Alot more then you." He expected a use of Vega's Psycho Power aganist him, but none came. Instead, Vega said "Well, what DO you know then, worthless fool?"

Koten cleared his throught and said "I know that his name his Zero." Vega looked agaited and said "Ok?! That doesn't help any on what he just did!"That's because I wasn't finished." Koten replyed angerly, and continued with "The only other thing I know about him is that he carries the title of 'GS'." Vega looked a little confused and said "'GS'?"

Koten looked into Vega eyes and said "It means Giant... or in this case, Giantess...Slayer."

*******

Damn...she's more powerful then I thought. Barely withstood that one.

Zero still hovered in mid-air as he comtemplated on what happened. But that's no surprise....my body has adjusted well enough.

Chun-Li was still in awe. How...how could he... Zero saw her in this look of shock, and said "Well? Do you give up?" Chun-Li look suddenly changed to one of curiousity . "Give up....?" Zero hovered upward, and said "Yes, give up on destroying that building." Chun-Li glanced at it, then back at Zero. "No. The man within must be stopped!"

Upon hearing this, he simply shrugged, then staring into Chun-Li's eyes, said "Well...if you won't, I'll have to insist that I take you down."

Chun-Li thought to herself Why is this man so intent on fighting me? He seems to have some unnatural power, and....That's it! He must be the trap left behind by Vega! He must be somesort of failsafe If I figured out his plan!. She then pointed at him with her right hand, her right finger much larger then himself. "You! You're part of Shadowloo aren't you?!" Zero hovered up slightly, his view of Chun-Li's face blocked by her enormous finger. "Shadowloo?" Chun-Li then said "Yes! You must work under Vega! You must be the one who was prepared for me incase I figured out his plan!" Zero looked puzzled and said "I don't know what you're talking...." He was cut short by "Don't lie! I know your under Vega! Only he would pressure someone to fight me!" And with that, she got into her fighting stance, which did not deter one bit with her new size.

"I still don't have a clue at what your talking about...but, if you're now willing to fight, I'll gladly abledge." Zero said before getting into his "fighting stance", if it could be called that, for fighting someone 10x your size. It was quite simply both of his hands balled into fists at his side, legs an equal width apart.

Both stared eachother down, hard. The battle between the Giantess and the Mystery Man was about to begin.....

*******

"This...this is just insane! How the hell could he do something like that?!"

Marx was in alleyway below. He saw were Chun-Li was headed before hand, and rode through the backstreets, the stopped his car to find out what was going on.

."I know he was strong....but there's no way he could be this strong!" Marx said, still in amazement. "And now he's trying to fight her?! Just...who is he?"

He saw that the two above both adopted a fighting stance." What?! Their going to fight?!" Marx then stared his car.

"Zero...he may need my help."

*******

Both combatants still stared eachother down. Chun-Li had Zero's whole body in her view, while Zero only had the upper part of her body, focusing on her eyes. This lasted for several minutes, each trying to find the other's weakness.

Then, as if an announcer just yelled "FIGHT!", the battle began.

Chun-Li started by throwing her gigantic right fist at Zero. Zero easily dodged it, and then dodged her left fist that she threw in response. Zero started flying towards her, but was cut short when he was blocked by her hand. Zero looked up, and saw that Chun-Li was preparing to slam him into the pavement. Zero saw this too, and moved quickly out of the way, hovering backwards.

Hmm....how do I get close? Zero thought as he started towards her again. Chun-Li then punched again, but this time, it connected. Hah! Got him! she thought upon her success. However, when she drew it back, she noticed that Zero was not there. "Huh? Wh..." was all she could say before hit by a kick on the right side of her face. She stumbled to her right, and saw that Zero was about to charge forward for another attack. She used this to her advantage, and faked being stunned, then when Zero was in range, swapped him with her hand like a fly swatter. He went tumbling towards the pavement.

Damn...she IS stronger then I thought....That one actually hurt Zero thought as he scrambled to his feet and then jumped into the air. "Yah!" he said as he started to increase speed, but was met by a leg. Chun-li had kicked straight out in an attempt to hit him. It was unsuccessful, but slowed Zero's progress. Then, as he tried to recover, Chun-Li tried to punch him again. This time however, Zero held out both of his hands, and when they met Chun-li's fist, he used it as a gymnist's bar and flipped on it. Then once on her hand, he ran up it, jumped over her spike bracelet, and continued down her arm towards her face, and then jumped and hit her with another kick.

Chun-Li didn't stumble back on that blow, and instead reacted by swipping him off her shoulder. It wasn't a strong swipe, it wasn't meant to be. It pushed him off in front of her, and while Zero was still recovering, did an axe kick. It connected, but Zero managed to get of the way before her leg hit the ground, creating a huge crater. Zero fell to the ground, face down. He quickly turned face up, shook his head, and flew back up. However, he made no motion to attack.

"Well, that was a good-warm up, don't you think?" was all he could say, having a curious look on his face. Chun-Li then asked in return "Warm-up....?" Zero then returned with "Yes, warm-up!" With that, he raised his right hand, palm facing himself. Nothing happened for a few seconds, then the blackhole on his glove's insignia seem to have come alive, then his cape was dragged into it, as if it was sucked in. When it was gone, a blue flash envolped Zero's body.

"Time for the real battle to begin!" Zero yelled out, getting back into his fighting stance. Chun-Li did the same, and the same silence from before returned again...

*******

Hmm....how should I defeat him? Chun-Li thought to herself, planning her battle strategy.

He seems much too fast to hit...I know! I'll use that move! Chun-li thought, now sure of how to win. Then, as if on que, the true battle began.

Zero started this time, but rushing straight forward. "He's predictable enough." she thought as she threw a right punch. Zero made no effort to dodge this time, and instead and countered with his own. Amazingly, when the hits connected they were perfectly equal. Neither side had the advantage. Then, Chun-Li's fist started to take over. Zero pressed forward, holding his left hand on his right in order to support it, and thought No...she is not...stronger..then I am! He was wrong however, and Chun-li's fist connected.

This sent Zero flying back, but he amazingly was still hovering. Chun-Li noticed he again began to charge forward. Chun-Li saw this and thought Is that all he can do....?" He saw that she was about to attack, and used this to his advantage by diving downward. Then, when near the ground, the sprang off his hands and used to momenteum to to twist like a corkscrew. He went fast enough to pass Chun-Li's guard, and hit her in the neck, then vanished and reappeared, only to kick her in right side. It was Chun-Li that moved back this time. Zero then immediately prepared for another attack.

Dang...he is powerful Chun-Li thought, trying to recover. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see that Zero was coming at her. She smiled and thought Perfect...now is my chance! Acting like she was still recovering, she waited. Then, when Zero tried to attack, she easily evaded it. Then, she hit him with backhand. It didn't do much, but it wasn't supposed to. It was a setup, as it sent Zero forward, with just enough room to kick.

"Hyakuretsu Kyaku!” she yelled out, as she performed one of her favorite moves. It was a blindingly fast repeated kick, done over and over. With her new size, it made much more powerful, and more importantly, much faster. Zero was caught in the midst of the kicks, and whenever he tried to dodge out of one, he’d almost get hit with another. Too fast...much too fast Zero commented, trying to evade kick after kick.

Zero could not keep up the charade for long, and Chun-Li finally hit him. When she did, she hit him hard, very hard, that a normal man would of been spilt to pieces. “GAH!” Zero cried in pain, as he flew faraway, into a not-so distant alleyway. There, he fell face first into the pavement, and for a minute made no movement at all. It looked as if he was dead.

Suddenly, he slowly started to get up, then said “Is...this...the end...? That one attack did way too much...She’s way too powerful for me...I...give..up...” He slumped back down, making no movement at all. He had given up the will to fight. It seemed to be that he had also given up the will to live.

Then...a faint yellow flickering on his right hand. The yellow part of his Triforce-like insignia was glowing..and it made Zero remember the past.

*******

He was in a desert, which seemed to be not much different then the Vetrad desert. He also seemed to be younger, atleast three to four years. He was standing on top of a hill, and arms crossed, seemed to be waiting for someone.

When...when will she get here? Zero had been standing there for what seemed to be hours...waiting. Waiting for the one he was supposed to meet.

Just then, she appeared out of the desert wind. It was another giantess, and it was also the first one he had ever met. She...she's beautiful he said as he gawked at the enormous figure before him.

As for the giantess herself, she was not the same size as Chun-li. In proportion, she was only about 40 ft.tall. She also had an likeness for pink.

Zero almost smacked himself when he noticed what he was doing No fool! She's the enemy! He thought to himself, as he lookd her over again. Even so, could I really defeat her? Someone of my stature aganist her?"Zero looked at her again, indeed, the fear he was felling was very real. Any normal person would think twice about what he was thinking of doing.

Zero then shook his head and thought No! I must conquer my fear! Only I can stop her from destroying the outpost! He then dashed forward, and the memory ended.

"Courage...." Zero said as he opened his eyes.

Then, sitting up, and eventually standing thought I must stop her...Only I can...this fear is nothing. Then looking at his right glove, he said quietly to himself "Thank you."

Looking up, he took to the skies, to resume the battle left behind minutes ago.

*******

Chun-li was frustrated. Where did he go? He couldn't of gone that far.

She was walking around, looking in the alleyways for him, for she knew he had gone into one of them. Hmm..not in this one she thought as she bent over in under to look down one alleyway. Then, straighting her self up, she looked for the next one. "Ah! There it is!" she said out-loud, looking towards one of the alleyways in the back. She walked over, and in less then a minute, reached it.

Again, she bent over to look down it, but saw nothing...save for a small crater. "Huh? That must be where he must of landed...but where...?" Standing up, she looked over the alleyway to see if he had gone down further. No go on that. "Where...where is he?" she said out-loud. "Right here." It came from behind her.

Chun-Li immediately spun around, creating a semi-torrent of wind when she did this. This wind seemed to press aganist Zero, who was hovering, arms crossed in the air. Chun-Li took a closer look at him, and noticed that look on his face had changed. Instead of one of calmness mixed with anger, it was one of sharp determination.

"Sorry about that. I had some trouble recovering from that last attack" he said, an element of weakness in his voice. He continued with "Let's continue, shall we?" That time, his voice rang with tone of strength. Then, he adopted his fighting stance again, and Chun-Li could of sworn she saw a smile on his face.

He's...changed somehow Chun-Li thought as she also went into her fighting stance. He seems....even more eager to fight, but why?" Chun-Li continued to stare down her opponent with curious intent.

Zero noticed this, and said "Are you just going to stare at me or are we going to continue? Or did you finally give in?" Chun-Li became agiated, and said "NO! That man must still die! If you go in my way, you will too!"

The battle then erupted once more, perhaps, for the last time.

********

High in sky, the only known specatators watched this event. Vega, the leader of Shadowloo, who still believed nothing like this could happen, and Koten, the mysterious newcomer who knew of this man.

"Giantess Slayer?" Vega said, still not fully accepting this as it has happened. Koten simply nodded, and backed it up with "Yes sir, that is what he is known by." Vega now shifted his view from the window to Koten, and said "Why would a man like him even exist? It's not like you see one every day, so why is this man a killer of them?"

Koten shrugged and said "Well...no one truly knows. He disappears for weeks to months and then later reappears, and some giantess appears shortly after. It's unknown if he follows them, or, it's the other way around."

Vega shifted his view back to window, absorbing what Koten had said. He then shook his head. "It's no matter. Whether or not he knew of my plan with Chun-Li, she will most likely kill him. One idoit with a pathetic life style out of the way. Then...the destruction of the city will follow suit by one sworn to protect it! It's perfect!" An evil laugh followed.

I wouldn't be sure of that... Koten thought as he continued to watch the events below.

********

WHAM! BAM! Sounds of combat echoed throughout the city. The battle had finally moved out of that small alleyway, and farther away into the northern section.

Chun-Li had just blocked a kick that Zero had thrown aiming for her head with her hand. Zero fit into her entire palm and Chun-Li knew this all too well. "Ha! Got you!" she said as she attempted to grab him within her hand. However, she grabbed nothing but air. "What?!" she said in disbelief.

Zero had used her hand as a ground to push himself off of, then flipped in mid-air. He said "Nice try." noticing Chun-Li's closed fist where he had been seconds earlier. Before she could recover her fist, Zero flew above it and when close enough, did a double leg kick, sending her fist spiraling toward the ground.

Now, you've lost one of your defenses! Zero thought as he began again towards her. He increased his speed, and without Chun-Li able to defend aganist attack, flew towards her face. He was preparing for another kick. Chun-Li easily saw this, and thought I can't defend with my hand....Ah ha! I have another idea!.

Zero increased his speed, yelling out "YAH!" Chun-Li was ready, and when Zero got close enough, blew him away. At her size, blowing into her mouth contained force of that of a hurricane. Zero was completely caught off guard, and holding his arms in a X-shaped guard in a vain attempt to stop it, was sent miles away. Zero quickly recovered in mid air, and thought Hmm...have to remember that next time.

Chun-Li was on the offensive now, and looked at her surrondings.I can't kick at full power, less I damage something. At her height, a kick from the side would of gone through a building or two. I have another idea... She then began her attack.

She arched back her left arm, and then swiped outward, her palm facing the ground. Zero easily saw this and ducked, but then was hit by a balled up fist from above. It sent him straight down, landing near her feet.

Zero landed hard, cracking the pavement. He quickly got to his feet, and looked up. Chun-Li had him in her sights, and was preparing to stomp him, lifting her foot in the air. This gives me an idea. Zero then closed his left hand, and concentrated energy into it.

Chun-Li then let her foot down, trying to stomp Zero. However, Zero predicted this and suddenly jumped up, and shot the collected energy in his left hand downward. This gave him just the speed he needed and swiftly past her foot, which had barely missed him. Then, using the speed, he raised his right arm in the form of an uppercut, and used the momentum to spin.

"YAH! Lightning...Upper!" Zero yelled out, his right hand becoming surronded by static blue electricity. He went straight up, and hit her in the chin. Chun-Li felt an intense shock, however, that would pain would soon be followed up by another attack. When Zero was high enough, he used the last of the momentum to kick with his right leg, hitting her in the jaw. "Ha! Got you!" Zero said, a sense of victory ringing in it.

Just as he did, he was suddenly paralyzed. Zero was sure that attack would of stunned her, however, Chun-Li used the fact that he let his guard down to her advantage and grabbed him with both hands.

"Ha! I have YOU now!" Chun-Li said as she held Zero in her hands. Zero was completely immobile, only his head and neck were visible. She could fell as he tried to break free, but her grip was much too tight, it was useless. "What will you do now little man!?" Chun-Li said with a sense of power, strangling him tighter.

"GAH !" he yelled out in pain, feeling as if his whole body would snap in two any second. How...how...do..I..get..out..of..this? he thought, trying to think of a way to get out

of her grip. Constant pain engulfed his mind, which made thinking even harder.

He continued to squirm, but the more he did, the tighter Chun-Li's grip became. "Just give up now! I'll kill you before long!" Chun-Li said, her attention focused on him. A few seconds after she said those words however, no force come from with her hands.

Chun-Li looked closer, and noticed that Zero's head went limp, eyes shut. Did....did..I...kill...him? she thought, still holding him in her enclosed hands. It would appear so, because Chun-Li felt that it didn't even feel like he was breathing. She left go of him, and he fell to the ground, landing with a hard thud. He made no movement at all.

Chun-Li had won, She was the victor. Staring at her fallen opponent, thought What an....interesting...man. It was a shame to kill one such as him. She then turned around, her attention refocused back on the building where Vega was supposedly located. Here I come, Vega! I had your lackey to take care of, but like him, you too will perish! The thunderous booms returned as she began to walk towards her target.

Zero remained on the ground, motionless.....

*********

"He's...he's...dead...just like that..." Marx said, still staring in disbelief.

Hiding through the network of alleyways that ran throughout the city, Marx had witnessed the whole fight.

"All that...and he just dies." Marx said, shaking his head. "But...that really isn't a surprise. I don't think anyone would of have come out alive after that."

He shifted his view on the figure of Chun-Li, which was taking her time walking back towards the building. Although she was the victor, it did not come without a price, and

she had felt some level of injury after that battle.

"Now...what's going to stop her? I don't think the Army could get here fast enough and...." he stopped, because something caught his attention in the corner of his eye.

It came from his right, and upon turning to face it saw that it was a red glow, coming from Zero's right hand. He looked closer, and noticed that the red triangle on his weird

Triforce-like insignia had litten up.

"What? What's that?!” Marx said out loud, not knowing what was going to happen next.

*******

What? What's this? I'm....alive?

Zero eyes slowly opened. But how? I was sure she would of killed me by oxygen deprevation. Looking up, he saw a weird light in his still disorted sight. What's that?. He found the source of the light, and thought to himself Oh...it's that again. My constant reminder....

Just as it had before, the Triforce-insignia made Zero remember the past, this time of a different place.

Zero was in a grassy plain, with mountains that dotted the horizon. The weahter was fair, and it was a sunny. Zero could be seen standing in the middle of the field, in a battle stance. He appeared to be about the same age as in his last memory, and also looked to be exhausted, as if from battle.

This woman....she's too powerful for me.. he thought, staring up to his opponent. It was indeed another giantess, and this one was atleast 50 ft tall.

Then again, I'm not surprised, she is taller then the last one. She also seems to be a capable martial artist... He began to scan her a bit more. How am I to win? Her techinque...it seems flawless.

The giantess seemed to notice his heisitantcy, and, with her enormous right fist, punched where he was. It was so fast, Zero barely had time to react, and leaped into a roll to get out of the way.

Zero breathed hard upon stopping, and then his eyes went wide upon seeing the result. A huge crater had been made, her huge gloved fist still inside it. She then drew it back, and refocused on him.

What....how...that was amazing Zero thought to himself, still comtemplating as he stared with fear at his opponent. She appeared to be willing to kill him anytime, her face stern. What...what do I do? he thought as he flipped up, in order to get to his feet. The giantess then started to bring back her right fist, in preperation for another attack.

Zero bit his lip. She'll kill me with that...there's no way I could evade it. The giantess launched her attack, this one faster then the last. Then, as if having a burst of confidence, thought No time! If I can't dodge...I'll finish her with my own! Jumping into the air, he threw his own right fist, theirs meeting aobut 15"ft above the ground.

At first, the balance was equal, neither side had an advantage. Don't be afraid he thought as he pressed further, the hardest he could in order to win. "Force your way!" he yelled out loud, seemlingly catching her somewhat off-guard. Then....Zero's fist started to slowly advance forward....

The memory ended as quickly as it come. And just as quickly, Zero had gotten back to his feet. "Power...another trait...." Zero thought out-loud, looking downward toward his Triforce - insignia.

Then, looking up slowly, he could barely see Chun-Li's large sihoulette. Her...Zero then tilted his head downward, and closed his eyes. It seemed he was preparing for something. Suddenly he jumped up, and started to fly at a speed he never reached before.

"I have to end this NOW!" he said out-loud, cursing at himself for taking so long.....

******

Just...just who was that man? Chun-Li thought to herself, going slowly towards her target.

Thinkiing of all that happened, her growth was the most outstanding. The power she now poossessed made her feel like a goddess. She stopped as she eyed a building, this one standing to be about 50"ft tall. How...how easily I could demolish this... she commented to herself, standing next to it.

She thought further of how long it took to build. Maybe four to five years? She could destroy it in no less then ten seconds.

To test and regrasp how powerful she was, she thrusted with her right hand straight-out into the air as strong as she could. The resulting wind from the blow caused an ubeliveable amount of force, it causing a sort of slash of the building closest to her.

Then, looking downward, she reaffirmed just how tall she was. Looking at an abandoned truck, a flat-bed, she looked at the size comparision, placing her foot closest to it without damaging it. A...amazing... she thought, as she noticed that the truck barely reached past the bottom lining of her boot.

All this...yet one normal-sized man as much power as I do... Chun-Li thought with a sense of anger, now beginning her walk back toward the building with Vega inside.

He's dead now, all I have left is Vega to worry about! she reassured herself, continuing her walk....

*******

"Well...this man seems quite the survivor." Vega commented on the events below. "I'm sure that would of surely killed him."

"What do you think, Koten? You seem to know so much about this man...I think you'd know a bit about this? Hmm?" Vega pressed him, expecting an answer. Koten merely responded with "I...I don't know....I only know that which I've already mentioned....I know nothing more..."

Vega responded to this with "Tch. I thought you would say something like that....but no matter. However long this man keeps coming back, he will must asuredly die." Just as it had before, a sinster laughter ensued.

Koten could say nothing to this, however, a question peaked in his mind. "Master Vega, I have a question, sir." Vega stopped his laughing and looked at Koten. "What is it?" Koten did returned the look, and responded with "Where is Balrog? I haven't seen him since you blasted Chun-Li with that ray." He was cut short as Vega's laugher returned.

He laughter again ceased, then he answered him with "I sent him on an important assignment." Koten had a questionable look on his face and said " What was it?" Vega quickly turned to face him, his eyes having a look of anger. "That is not something for you to know! Not for someone as useless as you!" Koten was taken aback from this once again, and shifted his view back to the window, not saying another word.

Vega also looked back out the window and said "Don't worry. You'll find out soon enough. It's too big to miss!"

********

I'm here....again. Chun-Li has just reached the mouth of the alleyway. She stared down at the building that she previously tried to demolish, but was delayed by that man. Now that he is out of the way....its finally time. Chun-Li took an enormous step forward.

Just as she did, she heard something behind her. To her it was barely audible, but, for a normal person, was very loud. It seemed to be a yell. She immediatlely turned around, and saw something speeding towards her....something blue.

No! There's no way he could of survived! she thought to herself upon seeing Zero miles away, speeding towards her. Zero increased his speed even faster, in order to reach her before she had a chance to react. No time. I'm not going to give her a chance! The he starting to spin his whole a body, arms straight out, like a drill as his speed increased.

What?! What is he doing? Chun-Li thought, barely having time to react to it. This give Zero just the chance he needed, and he give a final burst of speed. "Lightning..." he said out-loud, his body started to become surronded by electricity. He went straight for her mid-section, and before impact, said "...Drill!!!".

He drilled into her, pushing her back. Chun-Li felt intense pain and shock from the electricity, but as the whole, the electricity was nothing at her size. The pain was an interely a different matter, it was if someone her size was repeatedly punching her in the gut.

Damn... Zero's momentum for the attack died out. He was left floating in mid-air. Chun-Li had been pushed back, but other then that, the attack seemed to do next to nothing...nothing, other to then to make Chun-Li really, really mad.

"You...you...what did you do?!" she said as she looked down to where Zero had drilled into her. Black scorch marks was all that was left on her blue suit, it was amazing enough it didn't go through.

Upon seeing this, she yelled out angrily "You...you've stopped me from killing my greatest nemesis, come back from the brink of death...and NOW ruin my favorite suit?!" Zero only returned a blank stare. What....? he thought, still not knowing how to fully respond to that.

Chun-Li however, had just had it. She didn't care anymore about getting Vega. This man had her full attention, and she knew just how to deal with him, a move she had been perfecting for Vega himself. He'll have the honor of having it been used on him....before I use it on Vega!.

"Houyoku Sen!" she yelled out, starting to kick with her right leg repeatedly in front of her. Zero was caught off-guard with this, and while evading kick after kick, thought This...this is the same move from before! This time, he knew how to dodge it, but it didn't expect what she would do next.

She suddenly brought back her right leg...and started to kick with her left! The switch was so fast Zero could barely see it, and her kicking speed increased as well.No...no! This is...impossible!. Dodging a giantess's kicks was hard enough, but dodging an even faster one was well....pointless.

Chun-Li finally hit him, and thought to herself HA! I finally have you!. Unlike when she hit with her other move, the Hyakuratsu Kyaku, instead she kicked him around like a pinball. It was hit from one direction to the next, back and forth.

After about ten hits, she recoiled her left leg and kicked him in mid-air straight up with her right leg. Zero could feel his body nearly seperate flesh from bone on impact. This sent him flying into the air, so high, that Chun-Li could barely see where he went....

********

D...d...damn... Zero thought, his body aching all over. It was a miracle he was alive, then again, everything he had done was.

He was spiraling into the air, and was surronded by the blue sky. He barely had anything left, and, seemed to be on the brink of death. But, how many times has that happened?

Then, he could feel as though as his body had stopped gaining altitude, and started to fall. In the the process, his body flipped over, his head aimed towards the ground.

This...the end? He began to slowly close his eyes and accept what was going to happen...he was to fall to his death. However, something caught his eye far in the horizon.

What? he thought, looking over the city. His was sent so high he could see over the Great Steel Wall. In his view, he saw something odd, something out of the ordinary...

Red? He thought, as he continued to pummel towards the ground below.....

*********

"Where did he go? I know I didn't send him THAT high." Chun-Li said, still scouring the skies for any glimpse of the man. Even for her, he was sent much to high to see.

Suddenly, she saw something fall out of the clouds, miles away. It was blue, it was almost a meteor. "It's him! There's no way he can be alive." she said, observing the fact that he was motionless and even his eyes were closed.

The "meteor" kept falling, waiting to be greeted by the hard pavement. Chun-Li witnessed this, breathing heavily. She was satisfied knowing that this man that had caused her so much pain and more importantly cost her valuable time was about to end. However...when the meteor was about to hit the ground, it stopped in mid-air.

"What?! He's still alive?! This is...insane!" she said out-loud, her perdiciment which could be said of the exact same thing. Zero had began to hover seconds from reaching the ground, but right after continued to fall. After that, he slowly got up, barely on his feet and he was using his right arm to hold his left. He too was breathing heavily, and seemed to be on the brink of dieing from exhaustion.

"No....I'm not dead yet." Zero managed to yell out, in order to inform his opponent of the obvious. This did nothing but anger Chun-Li, as she stared even more angerily at him. "How...how is that you're alive?!" she said in return. He barely looked up, and stared into her eyes again and returned with "I don't know...I'm just a hard person to kill."

"You...you...would...speak like that....to a goddess?!" Chun-Li yelled out, in order to strike fear into him. It did, and Zero's eyes went wide with shock. Damn...no...she finally let her power fully take control! And what she was preparing to do shocked him even more.

She took both her hands and set them at her right side, right hand above the left, palms facing eachother. At first nothing happened, then suddenly, a small blue ball of energy started to from inbetween. With every passing second it grew larger and larger, until it nearly fit the space inbetween her gigantic hands.

"I've had enough of you! I doubt you will survive this one! May finally befall by this goddess!" then, she pushed the energy in her hands outward, in front of her. "Kikou Ken!" she yelled out, letting a blue ball of energy fly towards Zero.

He could nothing but stare in fear. No...she would go to that length? he thought. Then, he looked over his shoulder behind him. The center of city was right behind him. If it hits that... he stopped in mid-thought, not even wanting to think about that outcome. What do I do? I have to do something... Zero thought, still eyeing the huge thing that may be his, and the city's, doom.

Zero face then took a look of determination and thought I'll have to...I'll have to use that. With that, he placed his arms in a cross over the front of his chest. Each hand had its palm open, facing the opposing shoulder, with left ontop of his right. At first nothing happened, then static electriticy seemed to start to build up in the gaps between his hands and shoulders.

When the electricity started to emit a bright light, Zero suddenly took both of hands in front of him, they flashing with electricity. "Lightning..." he said, eyeing the ball of energy still coming his way. Just a little more... he said, waiting for the ball to get close enough. Now! he yelled to himself in his mind, and then suddenly crouched, slamming his hands into the pavement. and yelled out " ...SPIRE!"

With that, a huge bolt of electricty came straight up from the ground. The height of the bolt was about 50"ft tall. The ball, upon hitting it, seemed to have absorbed itself into it, in effect of that of a lightning rod. Just as the ball disappered, so did the bolt. Zero, who still had his hands in postion on the ground, breathed heavily and thought That...that was close...

Chun-Li simply started in utter amazement. How...how did he.. she thought she trying to comprehend what just happened. Then, she saw the figure of Zero. He was still on ground, looking down. He suddenly looked upward, and stared into her eyes with a look of acheivement, and a look of anger.

Chun-Li had finally had it. She had been doing her best not to involve the city in this, but now she didn't care. "You! I would like to see how you could possibly fend off this attack!" She then turned and then crouched down, in front of building that was only about 20"ft tall, a abadonded apartment complex. She then put her hands under the left and right sides...and started to pull out!

Zero eyes went wide upon this sight, and thought NO! She's going that far?!. He looked at the building, and saw something on it... something moving. It seemed to be...a person.

Zero immediately yelled out at the top of his lungs "STOP! LOOK AT WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO DO!"

*********

Chun-Li stopped pulling upward, and looked over at the figure of Zero. What? What is he talking about? Killing him is what I'm about to do! She then started to resume pulling it up, not bothering to look at the buildling it self.

Zero saw this, and yelled out again at the top of his lungs "STOP IT, DAMNIT! LOOK AT THE TOP!" Chun-Li stopped again, and hearing him, looked at the top of the building. She saw something...something moving. Her eyes filled with fear upon identifing what it was.

It was a little girl. Chun-Li looked at her further, and noticed she was wearing rags. Oh my God...an...an orphan? The little girl, who only appearing to be about five or six, looked into Chun-Li's enormous eyes. The girl's eyes was full of curiosity, and, a small look of sadness.

Chun-Li then went down to look into the building further. On the level just below the roof, she could see the inside of it through the windows. The floor seemed to be flooded with orphans. All of them gave the same look the girl on the roof gave.

Zero, upon seeing this, yelled out again "Think! Think about what you could of done! You would of killed all of them! For what? An attempt to kill me? An attempt to kill Vega?!"

His words struck something in her. Chun-Li immediately leaned back, her eyes filled with fear. I...I...could of... The event ran in her mind, about how she could of just killed them all. It almost seemed as she was about to cry.

This is it! This is my chance! Zero thought, thinking of how she had reacted to it. Zero then placed his right hand in front of him, and used his left hand to hold his right wrist.

With his right hand, he used his index and middle finger to make an shape of a V, all his other finger went into a shape of a fist. Then, a small ball of purple energy seemed to from in the place in front of his two fingers. Then a ball of the same color overlapped that, and then another. This continued until it was the size of a basketball.

Finally! Let's bring this to an end! Zero thought as jumped into the air. He aim was precise with his attack, and with a mighty YAH!, fired, it taking a sound of that of a gun shot. It went slowly, but then increased speed. It's target: Chun-Li's mouth.

Chun-Li, upon hearing the supposed gun shot, looked over. She saw the attack, but made no motion to defend aganist it. Maybe...maybe he intends to kill me with this. I...I deserve it... she thought, staring at it.

The ball then hit, going inside her mouth to the back of her throat. Surpringisly, the attack did nothing and Chun-Li did not react at all by it. What? That did...nothing? Just then, she felt a strange sensation all over her body. What? What's going on?! she thought, still not knowing how to react to whatever he had done. Then, a familar feeling started to come back. It was the same feeling as when she grew. But this time...she started to shrink.

Just as before, the process started slowly, as she began to notice her surrondings becaming larger. She gave a Zero a glimpse, and saw that he was barely standing, watching her with a smile and look of accomplishment on his face. He...he did this? Just then, when she was about 30'ft in height, the process again picked up, and when she returned to her normal size, fell unconscious from exhaustion.

Zero looked at her, at would he could from such a distance. Amazningly, her clothes at returned to their normal size along with her. I...I did it.... Then, he too fell over, also from exhaustion. He landed with his face down-ward with a thud.

The wind seemed to have just picked up, blowing aganist the two. It seemed as though nature itself was glad the battle had finally ended. They were the only ones around, save for the orphans in the building. They did nothing but stare, still not quite sure about what just happened.

Then, a car started to pull up.....

**********

"HOW THE HELL COULD HE DO THAT?!" Vega screamed out in intense anger. He was dumbfounded but what he just saw, and even moreso at what Zero had done.

Vega eyes seemed to have gone bloodshot, steaming from the anger he was portraying "This... this...man...he's ruined everything. My plan...it's all for nothing! I WILL KILL HIM MYSELF!" Vega then quickly turned to Koten, who was also amazed at what just happened. "You! You said he was a killer! A murderer! Why would he do something like that?!"

Koten tried to respond, but this throat was clogged up. All he could manage was a simple "Uh...I..". Vega turned away from him, cursing in his mind about how sitll useless he was. "This...is was so unexpected. Chun-Li should of been more the able to kill him! He's just a normal pathetic man!"

He...he really did change.... Koten thought to himself, thinking over what Zero had done.

********

"Well...I haven't seen anything else out of the ordinary." The officer known as Clark commented to himself.

He was still at Police HQ, and didn't leave it all. He was determined to find out where all those at Police HQ had gone, but to no avial.

"I needed a break anyway" Clark said, sitting down on the ground. He was leaning aganist the front door of the building, hoping that someone would come to it. If they did, he would be right there to see it.

He looked over to his right, and saw again the damage Chun-Li had caused. The street was destroyed, fulled with craters. I wonder...I wonder what's going on with her right now? However, just as he thought this, he saw something moving in the horizon. "Huh? What's that?" he thought out-loud, straining to see whatever it was. After about a few seconds, he could identify it.

It was a car, an old sedan. It was headed straight for him, but was hindered by all the craters abound. Wonder who that could be? he thought, now standing up. He tried to see who it was, and could see that the car had a driver and...someone unconsious in the passenger seat. ! Whoever it is has wounded! But..this...this isn't a hospital!

A minute later, and Clark could finally see who it was driving the car. It was none other then Marx, leader of the Black Force gang. Marx?! Why the hell is a gang leader headed here?! At the same time, he could identify who was in the passenger seat. It was...an unconsious Chun-Li. What?! How did she?!! Clark thought, feeling ten emotions at once upon this sight.

A few more minutes, and car had finally arrived. Marx stopped the car a few feet from where Clark was. At first he did nothing, but then quickly turned and looked at Clark. "You're a cop, aren't you?!" Marx yelled out, at the unnerving Clark. "Ye...yes I am." Marx's glare turned to ferocity as he said "Well?! Don't just stand there! Help me get these two out the car!" Two....? Clark thought, only seeing the unconsious Chun-Li. He began to walk over, and could that someone was sprialed out in the back seat.

It's...it's him! Clark thought, fully identifing him as the man he met before, the man in blue. Marx saw his look, now getting out of the car. "Well! Don't just stand there and gawk, you fool! Help me get them out!" Clark quickly looked towards him, and nodded with an "Ok!".

A few minutes later, both Chun-Li and Zero were both out the car and were leaning aganist the building's walls. "I find it sort of a miracle that their both in good shape." Marx said, his eyes shifting back between the two. Clark, who was off to his side, said "What? What happened?! What happened between these two?!" Clark remembered earlier when he met Zero, and how angrily he acted one he heard of Chun-Li and her prediciment. Marx turned towards him, and saw the look in his eye. It was one of utmost concern. He seems to care about her.... Marx commented to himself, looking at how Clark was staring at Chun-Li. Marx then sighed, and said "Fine, I'll tell you."

Marx then began to tell Clark everything. Everything, from his meeting to Zero, his chase after the gigantic Chun-Li, and the following battle between Chun-Li and Zero. Clark was shocked, finding it all hard to believe. Then suddenly, Clark's eyes flared up with anger and yelled out "So it was him! He must of been the one to do that to Chun-Li!" Marx responded to his by shaking his head."I severely doubt that. He doesn't seem the like to person to create something and then fight it. Besides, if anything, he SAVED Chun-Li." Clark averted his gaze from him to Chun-Li, knowing he was right. However, when he looked at her, he could see that she was moving.

"Hey! She's waking up!" Marx quickly looked over to her, and she was indeed starting to wake up. Clark ran over to her side immediately, and Marx followed close behind. Clark then got to his knees up reaching and said "Chun-Li! Ms. Chun-Li! Are you ok?!" Chun-Li's eyes started to blink and said a weak "Uh..." She started to look around in her distorted view, and saw someone familar. "Cl...Clark?" Clark face seemed to have alomst blushed, and said " You...you're ok!" he said, wrapping his arms around her, clucthing her tight.

Marx closed this eyes, and thought Atleast she's alright...I'd better leave them alone. His eyes reopened, and then he looked over to Zero But him...he's got a... he train of thought was cut off. Zero's eyes...they were open and staring at Marx. "You! You're awake already?!" Clark released his grip on Chun-Li and stood up. He stared at Zero, who had also gotten up. "You! Just who are you?!". Chun-Li, still in a daze, also looked over from where she was sitting. Although blurly, she saw someone in blue. Is that...is that him? That man...?

Zero looked back at them all, noticing the look in their eyes. It was mixture of hatred and curiousity. Zero looked over to his left, eyes closed, slightly tilting his head toward the ground and shrugged his shoulders. "You want an explantion, do you?" he said, still having his eyes closed. Marx yelled back at him "Damn right we do! Just who the hell are you?!"

Zero didn't make any movement, but then suddenly tilted his back towards its orginal postion and, eyes open said "Fine, I'll give you one."

*******

"My name, as one of you already know, is Zero." He motioned towards Marx when he said that.

Chun-Li, who was know almost fully awake, stared at him and, upon hearing this, thought Zero...so that's his name... Zero continued. "I'm the only person alive to hold the title of the GS." Marx reacted to this by saying "GS? What's that supposed to be?". Zero closed his eyes, as if hesitating on his answer. "It stands for....Giantess...Slayer." Clark's eyes became filled with rage and yelled out "WHAT?!! You were planning to kill her?!? You.... you bastard!!!" He started to run towards him, as if to prepare for an attack. Marx then dashed into his way and Clark, surprised, said "Marx! Got out of my way! I'll kill you too if I need to!" Marx nodded, and said "No. I don't think that was his plan." Marx then looked behind his shoulder and said "Was it?"

Zero shook his head, and said. "No. it never was. That title was given to me by someone else. I've never killed anyone, because I changed the meaning of that a long time ago." Chun-Li, who was now finally on her feet, said "Then.. what does it mean now?" Everyone looked at her, finding it amazing the she was on her feet already. "It means...Grand Saviour, saving those whose new found power has corrupted them. Because well...power can turn saints, into devils." Chun-Li looked downward, knowing how true that rang of her. I...I did...let it...corrupt me...

Zero now entriely focused on Chun-Li. "I knew you were a disiplined martial artist. The way you fought told me that. It also told me that you wouldn't of tried to do something like on you're own. Maybe you did or did not realize it, but the power had gone to head. Vega must of the planned it, and I bet even you knew that." Chun-Li was taken aback from his words, knowing every single one of them rang with truth. Chun-Li looked down with a look of despair, thinking back to when she could of killed all of those orphans. "But...how...just how...are you that strong? And...why didn't you use the techinque earlier?" she asked him, curiousity in her eyes as she stared at him.

"Hmm, two questions eh? Fine, I'll answer them both." He then cleared his throat. "As for my strength, I'm not strong at all." All three looked puzzled upon hearing this, espically Chun-Li. She said "But...but how? It felt as if you had the strength of a...." Chun-Li was caught off by Zero."Of what? A giant? Yes, I did." Zero then pointed towards Chun-Li "You were not fighting my strength...you were fighting your own." Chun-Li know stared at him with a look of dread. "But..but how?" Zero calmly said "It's my ability...I can copy a person's strength on sight. No matter what size they may be."

Marx then quickly interprutted, saying "Ok, that explains one thing. But why the hell didn't you do that thing earlier?! Think about how much damage you caused!" Zero responded by holding up two fingers. "Two reasons. One: That takes alot of me to do. It's a varition of a skill that heals a person completely. However, for the intended usage, it takes alot of energy to even gather, even more to fire it. And, because it's so slow, it must would of assurdely missed, and I would more then likely be dead after it." Chun-Li looked down again, knowing that was what would of probably happened.

"Two: I needed to show you what your power could do. Even if that meant doing damage to this city, I could even tell that sector was abandoned. It wouldn't be much of a hassle." Chun-Li quickly looked up on hearing this and yelled out "But it wasn't abandoned! Those...those..." she stopped, looking as to begin crying again. "Oprhans? I didn't even account on them being there. But, it helped me in the end." Chun-Li knew this was true as well, because she didn't care what happened to her after almost killing the orphans.

"And....that is all. You three know everything." The three averted their gaze from him, because a few minutes earlier, they thought of him as the enemy. Now, they didn't know what to think of him. "And, I must be going. I have someone waiting for me in the next section." He turned his gaze towards Clark. "Clark." He immediatley looked up, saying "Yes?" Zero motioned his head towards the door of the Great Steel Wall. "What's the passcode?"

"Um...let me think...it's.." He was cut-off by " 32682797". It was Chun-Li that said it. "Go on. It's the least I can do for what you've done for me." Zero nodded, and then said "I must also apoligize. I would help you go after this man Vega, but, I unforunately have more important matters. Perhaps, I will return and assist you." Chun-Li shook her head, saying "Thanks for the thought, but no. You've done enough. Worry about your own problems now." Zero nodded again, and said a final "Thank you".

He then again began his walk back towards the door, the same one he had hours before. A few minutes later, he reached it, and thought The code... He started entering it, and it read in red "32682797". The metal door slowly started to open, and when it was open the all the way, Zero looked down it. It lead to a long metallic hallway, leading to another door. It would take about ten minutes to reach it. Another trek.... he thought, comptemplating in this overservation. Then, a flash surronded him as his cape from long beforehand returned.

Zero entered, then looked back, one last time. The three still standing there saw him, and all of them nodded, Chun-Li in particular having a smile on her face. Zero returned the favor, his face solemn, and then resumed his walk. The door closed behind him, and Zero stood in the hallway, not expecting what was going to happen next.....
