Mile-High Dream 7: Island Hopping

(Cubed Cinder and MasterMario)

Chapter 1, written by Cubed Cinder

It was getting hard for Aryll to watch, but she watched from the beach as her brother, Link, jumped into his tiny red boat, the King of Red Lions. It was only tiny when compared to the massive pirate ship that belonged to Tetra and her fellow six pirates. Even though Link and Tetra had managed to defeat the evil Ganondorf and save both Hyrules (the original one buried underwater and the modern day one with a vast ocean), they both knew they couldn't stay still, not with many more islands to discover in the wide open ocean. After Link gave a salute up to Tetra, that's when she knew it was time to set sail.
"Anchors aweigh!!! Hold the tiller steady!!! As for our destination?" Tetra said as she looked down to Link, who promptly smiled and gave his answer without stopping to ponder about it.
"The wind will guide us!" Link shouted. As Link's ship sailed forward, so did Tetra's pirate ship. Unlike the first time Link sailed away from Outset Island, this time he did not look back on his friends and family, wanting to stay strong and focus on the vast ocean that seemed to stretch for miles.

As soon as the ships started moving, Aryll climbed up to the docks and ran to the end of them. Feeling her eyes getting soft, Aryll waved one final time at her brother.
"Farewell, big brother! Be safe and come home soon!" Aryll shouted. When it became obvious that Link wasn't going to look back (and she fully understood why he would do that) and when he was too far away to say anything anyway, Aryll stopped waving and had a gloomy look on her face. She sighed and walked back down the docks, returning to the beaches where everyone returned to their daily routine after they too wished their heroes well. Aryll was immediately greeted by her grandmother as she exited the docks.
"Come now, Aryll sweetie, let's get inside and out of this terrible heat." Grandma said. Aryll simply nodded and walked with her back to her home.

As soon as Aryll was back inside her humble home, she sighed deeply and sat down on the bottom of the bunk bed. Grandma could already tell what was bothering her granddaughter and she sat down next to him.
"Oh, Aryll. You know I'm here to comfort you as always." Grandma said.
"I'm sorry, Grandma. I just... I already miss him. *sob sob*" Aryll said, now letting the tears out that she had fought hard to hold back on the docks.
"Aryll... I promise you it's hard for me to, seeing my little boy go out into the wide open world. But it is the way of the hero. We have to be strong... for his sake." Grandma said.
"I know, it's just..." Aryll said as she continued to wipe off the tears.
"I tell you what? How about I bake you some apple pie? That ALWAYS cheers you up." Grandma said with a smile.
"I would love that!" Aryll said, smiling as well. Grandma nodded and got up, walking into the kitchen. Aryll decided to get up as well and help make the apple pie. She hoped maybe it would help take her mind off Link and the pirates for the time being.

That night, even though Aryll was slowly getting back to her normal self thanks to Grandma's apple pie, she once again was thinking about Link. She looked up at the night sky from the porch of her home and just noticed a shooting star far into the distance. Maybe she was seeing things, but she nevertheless pretended to actually see it and make a wish on it by pressing her hands together and closing her eyes.
"Great shooting star... I wish there was some way I could see my brother. Just to see if he is alright and truly wish him the best on his journey. Please, shooting star, I beg you." Aryll said. As soon as she opened her eyes, she felt a tap on her shoulder from Grandma.
"Aryll sweetie, if you're done praying to the stars, it's time for bed!" Grandma said.
"I am, Grandma. I'll go to bed now. Good night!" Aryll said as she gently kissed her grandmother on the cheek and walked inside. After changing her clothes, finally taking off that purple skull dress the pirates had provided her and getting back into her normal light blue outfit, she climbed into the top half of the bunk bed (where she normally slept) and gradually fell asleep.

Aryll was awakened by both the shine of the morning sun and the crow of the rooster. When she leaned up in her bed, she felt her head bump against something.
"Ow!" Aryll said. She looked up and saw her head was bumping against the ceiling.
"Hmmm? I didn't sleep that close to the ceiling..." Aryll said. She shook it off to maybe just morning jitters. As she crawled out of bed and climbed down (hearing the ladder creak louder than usual) to ground level, she noticed Grandma wasn't around. She quickly figured she was probably shopping or running other errands for the fellow villagers. The next oddball thing was when she walked near the front door and picked up her favorite telescope.
"My telescope looks kinda smaller..." Aryll said to herself. Once again shrugging it off, thinking she'll be at full consciousness as soon as she steps out into the morning light, Aryll opened the front door and proceeded to walk outside. She noted having to duck a slight bit to keep from bumping her head against the door frame.

As Aryll left her house and proceeded to head for the lookout tower to see where Link was, she kept thinking about the weird start to her morning.
"First bumping my head against the ceiling, then my telescope, and then ducking under the door. Am I growing all of a sudden? Nah, that can't be!" Aryll said to herself. But just as she said that, Aryll suddenly watched as people were suddenly looking at her with shocked faces. Then she looked down and realized what was happening. The ground was fading and her telescope was shrinking rapidly as it fell to the sand.
"Yikes! I AM GROWING!!!" Aryll shouted. And growing she was. Aryll was already more than a hundred feet tall as her bare feet dug first into the sand and then to the grass. People scattered to get out of the way before her feet threatened to crush them. Aryll had to back away into the water, watching as the whole island started to come into her view. Forget the lookout tower that she would rarely dream of being as big as one day. Aryll looked like she was going to be as big as the whole island!
"How... how big am I going to get!?" Aryll said as she accidentally kicked up a lot of water from the beach to inland. Finally, Aryll felt the growing stop. It was hard for her to guess how big she had grown, but judging by her right foot already stretching across half of Outset Island... she was unbelievably huge.
"Oh my gosh! How did this happen? Wait..." Aryll said. She put one hand on her hip and another to her head, trying to think of what would cause this kind of massive growth spurt.
"That wish I made... could it have caused this?" Aryll said. But it was when she turned around that she got the idea of a lifetime.
"Wait! I'm so big, I wonder if..." Aryll said. She then gingerly made her way out into the ocean. Even on sand and under the water, each step she made left behind a thunderous boom that sounded almost as loud as the wind itself. As she further walked out to sea, she wasn't surprised to find herself sinking deeper to the ocean floor. Eventually, however, the sinking stopped and the water level looked to be just below her waist level. Her dress was getting wet, but her new size was allowing her to walk through the ocean without any trouble.
"Wow! I'm so big I can just walk through the ocean!" Aryll said. And with that in mind, she turned around and waved down at Outset Island. She had a hard time recognizing everyone as small as they looked, including Grandma.
"Goodbye Outset Island! I'm going to find my brother and maybe help him and his pirates on their journey!" Aryll said. The mega giantess turned around and walked away with the wind blowing in her face.
"This sure beats having a pirate ship!" Aryll thought to herself as she waded her way through the ocean in search of her brother, Link...

Chapter 2, written by MasterMario

"WAKE UP!"

Link forced his eyes open and saw that the world fade into a crystal blue. Small patches of land dotted the open waters here and there, all across the Great Sea. Link turned to face the culprit, even though her had a pretty good idea of who it already was.

"Wuzzzgoingon?" He slurred sleepily.

"Morning Sleeping Beauty." came the sarcastic voice of his friend/boss/captain, Tetra. Or when she was in her princess form, you could call her Zelda. But as for right now, she was in definetely in more of a Tetra mood than a Zelda mood...

"C'mon, get up!" She called to him from the starboard side. "Honestly, are you going to sleep the entire trip?" She scolded. Link got up, rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, and yawned.

Tetra sighed. "Some Hero." She muttered before walking up to the bow. Link cursed, he'd dozed off again. He was supposed to be leading Tetra's Ship with his own boat. He grabbed hold off the Red Lion's mast and looked out over the horizon. He could just barely make out Stone Watcher Island to their North-West. Other than a few minor difficulties such as slumbering crewmates (cough, Link, cough), there was nothing but smooth sailing for them.

"I've been thinking about making some art so we can remember our adventures together." Niko suggested.

"Who would want to see that?" Asked Mako. "It sounds like a bunch of garbage to me."

"Oh come on. Don't you want to look back and-"

"Enough, the both of you!" Yelled Tetra. "Get back to work."

The two scrambled across the deck, they'd rather be thrown overboard and forced to face a swarm of Gyorgs than to get on Miss Tetra's bad side. A few minutes of silence passed, only the gales of wind and the ocean's currents churning. Strangely, the waves seemed to grow stronger and stronger with each passing second.

"Guess a storm's coming." Link muttered to himself. Minutes passed and the ocean was definetly getting rough. Thundering booms echoed in the distance, piercing Link's pointy ears.

"Gonzo, port to starboard!" Tetra bellowed, her voice but a mere whisper in the winds. "Nudge, keep the cargo tied down! We can't lose it!"

The crew obeyed her orders but it was clearly obvious they were fighting a losing battle. The storm was becoming a typhoon. The Pirate Ship was tossed around like a ragdoll. Link wasn't having a picnic in his boat either. Wave after wave, all no less than ten feet high, continously pounded the King of Red Lions, sending the sailboat spinning out of control. Link held the mast in a vice-like grip just to prevent himself from going overboard. A dark shadow cast overhead. It was gigantic! Link wasn't sure if he should turn around to find the owner of that particular shadow.

So naturally, he did.

A towering blue stone rose out of the ocean, far more vast than the Tower of the Gods. Two flesh colored spires came out on opposite sides of this...thing. But the stone did not look like rock at all...in fact...it swayed slightly in the wind. It looked like fabric. A noise echoed off the structure. It sounded like the giggle of a young girl, echoed through the world's largest megaphone.

Only one person had that laugh.

"A-A-Aryll?" Link stammered.

"Big Brother!" The same, megaphone amplified, divine voice spoke. Happily, the young girl reached a hand down and picked up both ships at the same time. She raised them skyward and brought the two vessels against her chest in a big ol' hug. It would've been sweet had said girl not have been taller than Dragon Roost Island.

After several seconds of blue fabric embracing them, Ayrll let go and held the ships in the palms of her hands. Tetra and her Crew was shell shocked and rendered speechless. Link stared up at the enourmous face of his sister.

"Aryll...h-how...how did you get so big?" Link finally asked. Aryll grinned down at her big...older brother.
"If you wish really hard for something, it just might come true!"

Link rolled his eyes. Despite his sister growing into the biggest thing on earth, she still was his bubbly little sister. Aryll started wading through the Great Sea...or to her, the Great Pool. The crew was at last starting to get a grip on theirselves.

"Link swabbie, how'd your sis get so tall?" Niko asked. Link could only shrug. Nudge remained silent as always. And Gonzo, despite his obvious crush on Tetra, couldn't help himself as he took in Aryll's vastness.

Aryll spotted a nice little island to relax on and catch up with her brother and the pirates It was a metal tower built into the seabed at the bottom of the ocean. Link recognized it immediaetly as the dreaded Islet of Steel, where he had once had to manuver through the numerous cannon boats that patroled the entrance. Fortunately, the boats had cleared out, leaving the island safe for the group. Aryll gently sat down upon the steel chair. It was a small seat, but it would do. She placed a boat on each knee and smiled down at her friends.
Tetra spoke. "Aryll...it's not that I'm not happy to see you..but what are you doing here?"
"I wanted to be able to go with big brother and his friends on your journey, so here I am!"

But before any more words could be spoken, the entire island collapsed in on itself. The braces supporting the island snapped clean in two. The metal plates bent like putty and sank beneath the waves like a rock. Aryll found herself ploped down on the ocean, her shoulders and head breaking the surface. A huge tidal wave, small splashes to Aryll, had been formed from the impact and were headed right for the surronding islands.
Aryll sighed. "I'm gonna need a bigger island to rest on." She looked down at her companions, still clamped to their boats. All were far too scared to make any sugestions at the moment.

Aryll decided to head north, against the winds and many things occured along the way.

GreatFish Isle, the former home of Jabun, had completely vanished after Aryll had accidentally tripped on a hidden underwater reef, her body crushing the remaining scraps of earth left after Ganondorf's initial attack.

The tower resting upon Tingle Island had tipped over after Aryll's dress had snagged on it. Tingle and his brothers had not been too happy to be cast out to sea so unexpectantly, but by the time they had managed to swim back to their island, the titanic girl had vanished.

Finally, after ten minutes of walking through the open waters, Aryll eventually find her way to Windfall.

"This'll be much better. Windfall's a lot bigger than that other island. It should be able to hold my weight. She set the boats down by the pier and hopped onto the island eagerly. Unlike the last time, Windfall was sturdy enough to handle the massive weight of a young giantess. The giantess crouched down to get a better view at the streets and alleyways of the town. The citizens were quite surprised to see such shadows roll through the town, only to look up and find a giant pair of eyes staring down at them.
Aryll giggled and began to spin the windmill's blades as fast as she could. Faster and faster they rotated until finally, a screw broke loose and the blades spiraled through the air...just enough time to find a watery grave seconds later.

"Whoops." Aryll said sheepishly as the townspeople stared up at her, some in shock, others in outrage. "Sorry about that." She quickly collected the two boats and waded away from the island.

After some more traveling, the group found themselves before the tallest mountain of the Great Sea. Aryll found herself only about thirty feet taller than the summit of the volcano at Dragon Roost Island. Aryll was about to start scaling the mountain when something slammed into her left eyebrow.

"Ow! What the-?"

She managed to catch a glimpse of something plummeting straight between her eyes, heading right towards the sea. She held out her hand and the thing fell right onto her palm, between the two ships.

"H-hey...it's a person!" Said Mako, staring at the newcomer from atop his perch.

Link studied the unconcious arrival. It was obviously a member of the Rito, via the wings on the victim's arms. She seemed very familiar. He had seen that long ponytail and that harp strapped to her back.

"Wait a second...that's Medli!"

Chapter 3, written by Cubed Cinder

It happened so incredibly fast for Medli. One minute she was casually flying with the breeze in the clear skies of Hyrule, and the next? She looked ahead and crashed against a wall that she wasn't expecting in the slightest. The wall had been strong enough to knock her cold, and when she finally woke up, she looked to her sides to see two ships, one bigger than the other. She then recognized one of the ships as the King of Red Lions.
"Ummm... ahoy, Medli!" Link shouted.
"Huh? Link? Is that you?" Medli said.
"None other." Link said as he smiled and then took Medli's hand, helping her on board his own ship.
"Oh... my head. What did I hit? Where did that huge wall appear from?" Medli said.
"Well, if I told you, you probably wouldn't believe it." Link said.
"Nah, it can't be that strange given all that we went through before Ganondorf's defeat." Medli said.
"Okay... look up." Link said. Medli did just that, and naturally she freaked out.
"Eeeeeek!!!" Medli said. She clutched onto Link, almost too tight as he was briefly gasping for air. Aryll spoke out after seeing the winged girl wake up, softly of course given her immense size.

“Don’t be frightened, little girl. I won’t hurt you!” Aryll said.
“How? What? Who? Why? What?” Medli asked.
“What order do we answer those questions?” Zuko said.
“Quiet, bilge rat!! She was referring to Aryll, of course.” Tetra said.
“What’s your name?” Aryll asked.
“M...Medli.” Medli said.
“Nice to meet you, Medli. I am Aryll, Link’s little sister. Well, okay, so I’m not little anymore, but you get the point!” Aryll said.
“Yes... oh my gosh... you’re so big. Bigger than even the Tower of the Gods!” Medli shouted.
“Teeheehee! I know! It’s so fun being this big, being able to travel with Link and my pirate friends.” Aryll said.
“Well, your sister seems like a nice giantess, Link.” Medli said.
“Yeah... so far she’s been nice. But then again, she is still my sister. She’s nice to everyone normally.” Link said.
“So what brings you all the way out here to Dragon Roost Island?” Medli asked.
“Well, we were setting sail on wherever the wind would guide us, looking for the next adventure. But then Aryll showed up and she’s been taking us on a tour through Hyrule.” Link said.
“Wow! How much have you visited?” Medli said.
“Oh, a few islands here and there. Some... well, you know... got crushed by Aryll.” Link said.
“Come on! It wasn’t my fault! They should build bigger and stronger islands!” Aryll said, prompting a laugh from some of the people in her hand.
"Still, it must feel good to feel so big! I wish I could be big like you." Medli said.
"Well, if you wish really hard, maybe one day it will come true!" Aryll said. Link kinda rolled his eyes, still can't believing a simple wish was all it took to bring his sister to the size she was at. Speaking of wishes, Aryll was secretly wishing for that wish to come true as well, sort of not wanting to be the only giantess in the land.

Before the conversation could continue, however, everyone looked towards the island, specifically the volcano that Aryll towered over, when they heard a loud roar echoing in the sky. That’s when they saw the famed dragon and protector of the Rito, Valoo, flying towards them.
“Big dragon!” Niko shouted.
“Yeah, but we got a bigger girl!” Nudge shouted.
“Oh, who is this?” Aryll said.
“Oh dear... that’s Valoo, protector of us Rito. He doesn’t look happy.” Medli said. Valoo stopped flying just in front of Aryll’s huge face. Although Valoo was much bigger than Link, the pirates, and Medli, he still paled in comparison with Aryll. Still, she kept calm and decided to try and talk things out first.
“Um... hello there. Nice dragon!” Aryll said. Valoo didn’t have any of it. He spat a couple fireballs towards Aryll.
“Whoops!” Aryll said as she ducked down. Naturally, the speed of her ducking down was almost too much for the people in her hand to take. In fact, Gonzo lost his balance and fell off Tetra’s ship, landing between her ship and Link’s in the palm of Aryll’s massive hand.
“Man overboard!” Mako shouted all of a sudden.
Luckily, Medli was there to handle the situation. She jumped off Link’s boat and ran towards one of Aryll’s fingers. Given the giantess’s huge size, it took almost a minute for her to just reach one of the fingers, and she stopped running there knowing that standing on an easily movable fingertip was quite dangerous.
“Medli, what are you doing!?” Link shouted.
“Valoo! It’s me, Medli!” Medli shouted.

It was like magic. Valoo quickly stopped attacking and flew down in front of Aryll’s hand, looking down on Medli. Medli then starting speaking to Valoo, but in another language. Naturally, nobody else understood what she was saying.
“Huh? What in the name of the high seas is she saying!?” Zuko shouted.
“Something in Hylian, that’s all I know.” Link said.
“Bah! One of these days I'm gonna bring a universal translator on my ship..." Tetra said. After some more talking, Valoo seemed to be backing up (but not yet flying away) from the giantess.
"Valoo says a friend of me is a friend of him as well, and he apologizes for the brash behavior." Medli said.
"It's okay, Valoo. I never meant you or Medli any harm." Aryll said.
"Y'know, sis, it might be a wise idea to explore another island, especially with Valoo being so protective of this one and everyone that lives on it." Link shouted.
"Hmmm... You're right! We should do what the captain says and move on!" Aryll said.

At that moment, however, another unbelievable event was about to take place. As Medli was walking back towards Link's boat, she noticed something about it.
"Hmmm? I could've sworn Link's boat was smaller than that." Medli said to herself. She then looked over towards Tetra's boat, and could actually see it getting smaller before her eyes! She was already just tall enough to see onto the deck.
"The other boat! It's shrinking!" Medli said. Link had already picked up what was happening.
"No, Medli. You're growing too!" Link said. Indeed, Medli was growing and growing at a rapid pace. By the time Aryll could truly sense the weight on her hand increasing, she looked down and could see the winged girl growing.
"Oh my!" Aryll said. With Medli slowly becoming too big, and therefore too heavy, to hold any longer, she carefully set her down close to the edge of the island, along with the two ships. Medli was able to stand on the sea floor thanks to being close to Dragon Roost Island itself, and she watched as she rose up to Aryll’s waist and grew right past it. Bigger and bigger Medli grew, and as she was growing (and subsequently moving away from the island to keep from growing into it), Tetra's pirate crew was going crazy again.
"Eeeeeeeeeeeeps! Another giant lady is upon us!" Zuko shouted.
"She will crush us for sure!" Nudge shouted. As the crew ran around, often running into each other trying to take cover, Tetra just shook her head.
"Oy... They're not afraid of sailing through the stormy seas and yet they cower like a guppy fish when a giant woman is nearby." Tetra said. But in the meanwhile, she went back to watching Medli continue to grow in size. She thought for a moment she might grow bigger than even Aryll.

But that wasn't to be the case. Medli finally felt her growing stop, and she was inch for inch the same size as Aryll. Aryll had her mouth wide open, surprised to see someone else at her massive size. Then her shock turned to a smile.
"Wow! Medli! My secret wish came true!" Aryll shouted.
"I... I'm so big..." Medli said, at first not listening to Aryll and comparing herself to her home island, now very small. It wasn't until Aryll walked over and gave a hug to her new fellow giantess that Medli fully realized what had happened.
“Yay! Finally someone to pick on my own size! Teeheehee!” Aryll joked.
“Aryll... you did this?” Medli asked.
“It seems I did. Wow... my wishing has really become powerful as of late! You don’t mind, do you? You said you wanted to be big like me.” Aryll said.
“You’re right, I did say that. Thank you... thank you very much, Aryll!” Medli said.
“Oh, wait a moment...” Aryll said, suddenly remembering about the two ships she had been carrying in her hands. She once again picked up Tetra’s ship as well as Link’s. Everyone held on as they felt themselves being risen into the air as Aryll stood back up.
“Teeheehee! Are you alright, big brother?” Aryll said.
“Sure, fine... it’s just one more giantess, right?” Link said.
“Yep, sure is! Y’know, maybe I can wish for Tetra to grow and...” Aryll said, but she stopped when she heard the pirates from Tetra’s ship all calling out.
“NONONONONONONONONONOOO!!!!” they all screamed. Tetra couldn’t help but laugh at the begging and pleading her fellow pirates were spewing out, but she further put them at ease with her next comment, directed towards both them and Aryll.
“Alright, alright, quit your bellyaching! Even if granted the opportunity, I prefer the grand satisfaction of exploring this entire ocean with my own ship and the many days it takes to toil away at that lofty goal. It just wouldn’t feel the same doing that while being a million feet tall... or however big you are, Aryll. I hope you understand.” Tetra said. Aryll didn’t say anything at first, but then nodded her head.
“Yes, I understand. I’ll respect your wish.” Aryll said.

Attention was now turned towards Dragon Roost Island, especially as Medli pointed out the confused look on Valoo’s face as it flew circles around her head. Not to mention the many Rito that were populating the edges of the island from top to bottom, wondering how she got so big.
“Hmmm... they’re probably scared, confused, wondering what’s going on...” Medli said.
“What do you think we should do?” Aryll asked.
“I’ve got an idea.” Medli said.

Chapter 4, written by Cubed Cinder

Medli once again looked down at the now very tiny Rito and of course the small Valoo that was probably the most confused over what had happened. But she was determined to let everyone know that she was still the same Medli as before despite the massive size adjustment. With a few waves of her arms, Medli suddenly had her beloved harp in her hands.
“Oh? A harp?” Aryll asked.
“Yes. The music helps soothe worries of everyone on this island, including Valoo. So I treasure this instrument with my life.” Medli said.
“What are you going to play!?” Link shouted so that Medli could hear.
“What else? Earth God’s Lyric.” Medli said. Indeed, she began tugging on the strings of her harp and played the tune that Link immediately recognized from his previous adventure. Although the sounds of the harp were loud, their soothing notes actually were pleasant on the ears of those that were listening. For the next couple of minutes, everyone stopped worrying and just let the music carry their collective souls. Even Valoo stopped flying in circles to listen to the melody that always calmed him after a stressful time.
Medli played the tune twice over the course of a few minutes. When she finished, the thunder-like sounds of Aryll clapping snapped everyone back to reality.
“That was beautiful, Medli! I’ve never heard such soothing music in all my life.” Aryll said.
“Thank you, Aryll. I hope you all liked it down there.” Medli said. She could see everyone nodding up to her mega-sized self.
“Well, we better get going, Medli.” Aryll said.
“Yes! Don’t worry everyone. I shall return hopefully soon... and maybe then we’ll figure out how I’m going to live on the island.” Medli said. Finally, the two giantesses waved the island off and walked away, kicking up massive waves as their legs cut through the vast ocean.

Aryll remembered those last words by Medli and was starting to feel bad about granting her wish (which was still a mystery on how that happened).
“Ummm... listen, Medli. I’ll make sure I wish you shrunk back to normal before we go back to Dragon Roost Island, whenever that may be.” Aryll said.
“Thank you, Aryll, but I’m glad my wish to be this big was granted. This is a new experience for me I’m more than anxious to learn about.” Medli said.
“Sooo... I wonder which way we should go next?” Aryll said.
“Hmmm... that’s a rather good question? Perhaps we should ask our little pirate friends?” Medli said as she looked down on both Link and Tetra’s group in their respective ships nestled in the palm of Aryll’s hand.
“And why are you looking at us? You two are big enough to do your own navigatin’!” Tetra shouted.
“Maybe we should go see the Tower of the Gods, just to really see how big you two have really gotten.” Link said.
“Oh! A great idea! What do you say, Medli?” Aryll said.
“I agree! I think it’s just to the south of Dragon Roost Island. I’ll lead the way!” Medli said.

The two mega giantesses made their way across the vast ocean. With their size, and a brief stop to see how small Fire Mountain looked from their perspective, it only took a few minutes to reach their destination. Right away, the girls were amazed with what they saw.
“Wow! I can’t believe it... we really are bigger than the tower.” Medli said. Indeed, the tower rose up to chest level of the huge girls.
“Oh my gosh! I remember how big this tower used to look when I sailed on your ship, Tetra.” Aryll said.
“Yeah yeah. But wasn’t that even from a distance?” Tetra said.
“Y’know, I could hug and squeeze this tower like it were a little brother to me!” Aryll said. She started to wrap an arm around the mighty tower, but Medli held up her hands and almost reached out to her fellow mega giantess.
“Wait, Aryll! We might deeply anger the gods if we were to destroy this tower.” Medli said.
“Hmmm... you’re right. Better not do that, right?” Aryll said.
“In fact, we should probably use our huge size to destroy some other locale. Y’know, an island full of bad people or something like that. We could probably flatten it in a step or two.” Medli said, who couldn’t help but look down at her submerged-into-water boots as she said that.
“But where? I don’t think anyone would like us crushing their little island.” Aryll said.
“Wasn’t there some fortress that you said you were held captive in because of some giant bird?” Medli asked. Aryll’s eyebrows immediately shot up.
“Oooooooh... the Forsaken Fortress!” Aryll shouted. She clenched one of her hands into a fist... luckily the one that didn’t have the ships.
“I guess that’s the place.” Medli said with a smile on her face.
“I’ve secretly wished that I could go there with a sword and shield and teach those nasty Moblins a lesson!” Aryll said.
“Well, now you can use your feet!” Medli said. Aryll then looked down on the little ships.
“Ummm... you guys don’t mind if we make a trip to that fortress, do you?” Aryll asked.
“Well... I don’t know, sis... I mean...” Link said.
“What the!? What are you, Link, a cucco? Look at the size of your biiiiiiiig sister! I’m sure she can take care of herself at some silly little fortress.” Tetra said.
“In more ways than one.” some of Tetra’s pirates muttered under their breaths.
“Teehee! She’s right, big brother! Besides, it’ll be fun watching those Moblins try to stop us!” Aryll said.
“Us?” Medli asked.
“Yeah! I mean... you want to stomp around the place too, don’t you?” Aryll asked.
“Well, it’s not normally in my blood to be that kind of person... but these are far from normal circumstances.” Medli said.
“Yay! Then let’s go!” Aryll said. She started walking through the open sea again, this time at a slightly faster pace than when she and Medli left Dragon Roost Island.
“Hey! Wait up!” Medli shouted as she tried her best to catch up.

It was a bit longer trip from the tower all the way out to the Forsaken Fortress, but Aryll had a grin on her face that grew bigger the closer she stomped towards the fortress. She couldn’t help but giggle when she heard the alarms blaring out. If it were dark, she figured every single searchlight would be shining on her as well.
“Teeheehee! I guess the sneak attack is ruled out.” Aryll said.
“At our size? That’s no surprise!” Medli said. Aryll then stopped her walk and then set both Link and Tetra’s ships back down on the water.
“Okay, you guys wait down here while Medli and I take care of business!” Aryll said.
“Sure. No problem, I guess...” Link said, still not believing his sister was going to crush the very fortress he had to sneak his way through to rescue her. He and Tetra’s band of pirates could only watch as the two giantesses approached the fortress, kicking up massive waves of water that crashed through and flooded the lowest parts of the labyrinth. As every Moblin started to scramble around the fortress, over a hundred to be exact, Aryll let out some booming words for her tiny foes.
“Fee Fi Fo Hoy! I’m gonna crush some poor little Moblins today!” Aryll said.
“And don’t forget me, of course!” Medli said as she stood alongside Aryll. Aryll made the first move as she raised one of her sandaled feet up in the air and sent it crashing down on one of the towers, crumbling much of it into the rocky sea. She made a couple more steps, crushing more towers (eventually destroying them completely) and even flattening twenty or so Moblins with each step.
“Wheeeee! I haven’t had this much fun since I was little!” Aryll said.
“Little as in?” Medli said as she looked down on a tower brushing her waistline and swatted it (along with the Moblins on it) out of existence with her hands.
“Oh... well... you know what I mean!” Aryll said. She was about to stomp out another tower, but Medli stopped her.
“Wait, I got an idea!” Medli said. She stepped in front of Aryll and kneeled down, putting her face as close as she could to this tower and especially to the panicking Moblins.
“You little fleas better hold on tight. I hear the forecast is for heavy winds.” Medli said. Indeed, she took a deep breath and then let loose with a blast of air that would’ve only blown a ball of dust if she were normal-sized. Instead, the Moblins had absolutely no chance of surviving the blast of wind and they went flying out to sea.
“Ooooh... that was a nice move! I hope you had fun doing it!” Aryll said.
“More than you can imagine, my friend!” Medli said with a smile.

Some Moblins however, as the two giantesses were about to find out, had much more fight in them and tried whatever they could to stave off the attack of the giant girls. This group of Moblins began shooting flaming arrows up at them, flames lighting up on different parts of their clothing, only of course to quickly be put out by the giantesses with only very small charring left behind.
“Hmmm... some of those creatures don’t know when to quit.” Medli said.
“Yeah. They can be so stubborn. But luckily I’m stronger than them!” Aryll said, quickly demonstrating her point by walking towards this tower and flat out punching the tower, destroying it instantly and sending Moblins left and right to their watery grave. Despite that, she still felt very tiny flaming arrow catching her hair.
“Ow!!! Stop that... Eeeeeek!!!” Aryll said. As she moved over to try and dodge the barrage of arrows even if they did little to no harm, she tripped herself up on the pile of rubble that was formerly one of the towers. Aryll crashed down to the sea, landing on her rear end and shaking everything within a few square miles of her massive body. Even Medli had to lean against one of the towers to keep her balance despite her size. Aryll then quickly got back on her feet after pushing her arms against the sea floor.
“Aryll, are you okay?” Medli said.
“Oy, I’m fine! My behind will probably be sore for a little while...” Aryll said.
“Those darn little bugs.” Medli said, but before she could make a move to defeat them, suddenly a series of cannonballs went flying towards the middle of the tower, eventually breaking it apart and causing the Moblins to lose their footing and fall into the water.
“Oh! That came from our friends!” Medli said as she pointed out towards Tetra’s pirate ship, noting the smoke coming from the cannons even from afar with her sharp eyesight.
“Oy! Thanks, Tetra!” Aryll said. Tetra and her mates (who were busy reloading the cannons) gave a salute.
“Aye! We can’t let them giant girls have all the fun, can we, mates?” Tetra said.
“No, captain!” they all shouted.

With fewer and fewer Moblins left to defend their stronghold, the giantesses finished up their assault quickly and easily. Eventually, everything was gone. What was once a series of towers and fortresses that were known for lighting up the night sky of Northwestern Hyrule with their bright searchlights... it’s now nothing but rocks, stones, bricks, and dead Moblins all floating in random directions above the water if these objects hadn’t sunken to the sea floor already. Aryll and Medli took one more look around the damaged scenery and then patted each other on the shoulders.
“Whew... well, that’s over. These evil creatures will torment the sea no longer.” Medli said.
“Thanks, Medli. I couldn’t have done it without you!” Aryll said.
“It was my pleasure, Aryll. And really fun too... I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it almost makes me want to go crash and bash another tiny locale!” Medli said.
“Teeheehee!! Me too!” Aryll said. The two giantesses then made their way back to the two ships, with Aryll picking up both once again.
“And thank you once again for your help!” Aryll said.
“Bah! Say no more, mighty Aryll. I’ve been wanting to sink that entire place my entire life, and it’s done thanks to you and bird girl over there!” Tetra said as she winked up to the giantesses.
“I will take that as a compliment.” Medli said as she winked back.
“So, big brother, what did you think of me destroying that ugly fortress?” Aryll asked. Link was quick with his response not wanting to anger his mega sister.
“Oh... you were great! You were simply fantastic!” Link said.
“Teehee!! I knew you’d say that. You don’t have to be shy. I promise I’ll take care of you no matter what.” Aryll said.
“Thanks, sis. And also...” Link said.

All of a sudden, Aryll couldn’t hear Link speak. A faint ringing sound blocked out all other sounds and voices, including Medli’s. She could see her lips moving but couldn’t hear a single word.
“Huh? Big brother? Medli?” Aryll said. And then... everything started to vanish into thin air one by one. Link and his ship. Tetra’s ship and everyone on it. The environment around her including the sea. And her fellow giantess, Medli.
“What... what’s happening?” Aryll said. Everything was now white, and yet she felt like she was standing on something.
“Hello? Somebody? Anybody? Big brother?” Aryll said.
Oh my! What a cute little girl I found!” a female voice suddenly boomed out. Aryll had to cover her ears because the voice was so incredibly loud. Her voice as it echoed in the sky paled in comparison. As Aryll kept looking out in the distance, she fully realized the change in scenery. The oceans, the seas, all of it…just…gone….
Some strange, white earth had replaced the surface. She looked out into the distance and saw five mountains rising from the earth. Aryll finally turned around and got the biggest surprise of her life….literally!
“Eeeeek!!” Aryll shouted. She may have been big (or so she thought), but Aryll was standing in the palm of a hand belonging to an incredibly massive Princess Zelda!
Oh! Don’t be scared, little one. I won’t hurt you! I am Princess Zelda.” Zelda said. Aryll wasn’t too familiar with this woman named Zelda. Link had only briefly mentioned her when he was recapping his adventure during the events of The Wind Waker. Of course, we all know this was because Tetra wanted her secret identity to be kept the biggest secret of all-time. At the moment, however, nothing was as big as this Zelda right now.
“Y...Y...You’re so big...bigger than me!” Aryll said.
Well, I suppose that reaction is to be expected for someone as small as you. I hope my father will let me keep you after I show you to him.” Zelda said.

And then when the giant Zelda started walking, Aryll suddenly lost her balance and curiously fell right through the giantess’s gloved hand.
“Eeeeeek! What now!?” Aryll shouted as she felt herself falling and falling and falling...

...until the next time she blinked her eyes.
“Huh? What?” Aryll said. She snapped her head in every direction possible for the next few seconds and realized she was back inside her home. It was all a dream.
“Oh, I see. It was all a dream.” Aryll said. She put her bare feet on the ladder and used it to climb down from her bed. Slipping into her sandals and grabbing her telescope, she stepped outside and saw her beloved Outset Island as normal as ever. That’s when it fully hit Aryll that she was never really mega-sized. She only dreamed of that moment.
“Awwww... that’s too bad. I really liked being that tall! But then again... finding food at that size would’ve been problematic, so maybe it was for the best that I was dreaming.” Aryll said.

As she made her way to the lookout tower, she decided to pay the young man known as Mesa a visit.
“Good morning, Mr. Mesa!” Aryll said.
“Oh... good morning, Aryll.” Mesa said.
“I see you’re busy whacking weeds as always.” Aryll said with a smile.
“Pffft... yep. Some battle, huh? I wish my dream from last night came true.” Mesa said.
“Oh?” Aryll asked.
“I had finally found the perfect girl, and we bought the biggest and strongest bulldozer mankind ever built... and we laid those pesky weeds to rest once and for all!” Mesa shouted.
“I see! What a fascinating dream.” Aryll said.
“Yeah. You probably had a more exciting dream, though.” Mesa said, already going back to his timid mood that he was known for on the island.

Aryll opened her mouth and was about to spill the whole details on her dream of being super huge... but thought better of it.
“Oh... it’s nothing special. I dreamed I was the captain of my own boat just like my big brother.” Aryll said.
“Well, I hope that dream comes true for you one day. And that your brother comes back safely.” Mesa said.
“I hope so too! I know he’ll come back! In fact, I’m gonna go on the lookout for him right now!” Aryll said as she proudly displayed her telescope.
“Alrighty. Have a good one, Aryll.” Mesa said. Aryll nodded and walked away. As she was thinking about that dream, especially the rather joyous part of having a giant Medli by her side, Aryll began climbing up the lookout tower. Once she reached the top, she put one of her eyes into the telescope and began scanning the vast sea left and right.
“Okay, big brother! Where are you? I wonder what big adventure you and the pirates will have today...” Aryll said.
