It's been 10 years since Ganondorf's reign of terror came to an end at the hands of Link and Princess Zelda. While peace in an evil-ridden kingdom like Hyrule was certainly a good thing, it was eventually beginning to wear down on everyone. Less exciting things were going on, no evil was attacking anywhere, and the heroic efforts of Link and Zelda had virtually no longer been needed anymore. Link was called by the princess to Hyrule Castle for a little chat.

"Hey there, princess. Things are getting kinda quiet around here, aren't they?" Link said.
"Yeah. And that's kinda why I called you. Maybe there's a way we can change that." Zelda said.
"We, princess?" Link said.
"Of course we." Zelda said. She then pulled out the Ocarina of Time from under her bed.
"Link, are you familiar with the Song of Giants?" Zelda asked. The Song of Giants? This was a new one to Link, that's for sure.
"Huh? Uh... sorry, princess. But could you please explain?" Link said.
"I thought you wouldn't understand. The legend has only been told to very few people because the sages were afraid its power might be abused. The Song of Giants, when played, grants those who wish for it the power of the Four Giants of Termina." Zelda said. This opened up Link's eyes greatly.
"The Four Giants?" Link said. Zelda nodded.
"Yes. This song could conceivably allow anyone who plays it and is worthy of the power to grow to gigantic size. Around 100 feet tall from what I've heard." Zelda said.
"So you want to..." Link said.
"Yes, Link. We should play this song together so that both of us can become giants!" Zelda said.
"Huh!? But Zelda! That's crazy! I don't think Hyrule can stand more than one giant!" Link said, referring to Biggoron.
"Come on, Link! Think! Think of what we can put this huge size to use for. We can either change Hyrule for the better or put on a show for them. Or heck, even both! I think it's time that both of us had a little fun, because after all, there's hardly any evil left in this kingdom!" Zelda shouted.

It seemed obvious to Link that Zelda really wanted to harness the powers of the Song of Giants for both of them to grow to large heights. But then again, there have been other ways to allow people to change size, and Link starts to feel that maybe it's best to keep the Song of Giants spell sealed. Link then shook his head. He couldn't resist being a towering giant for the first time since his quest in Termina, not to mention the fact that Zelda would be right beside him.
"Go for it, Zelda! You're right. This kingdom could use a change, whether or not we actually crush anyone or anything." Link said.
"Okay. Let's head out to my flower garden. Wouldn't want to mess up my own castle while we're growing." Zelda said.

Once the two were in the middle of Zelda's flower garden, which had nothing but open sky above their heads, Link stood back throughout this time, getting one last look outside Zelda's window at the land of Hyrule. It was probably the last time he would ever see the kingdom from a normal viewpoint, because the next time he wondered off there, he would be a towering giant along with one of his fiancées, Princess Zelda. He was already imagining it, he and Zelda kneeling down and playing with the tiny citizens of Hyrule Market.

Then, Zelda asked Link to pull out his own ocarina, the one he got years ago from Saria.
"Ready, Link?" Zelda asked. Link just nodded, and the two started to play the Song of Giants simultaneously. Nothing happened for a couple of minutes, but suddenly Link and Zelda looked around. The flowers and castle walls looked to be significantly smaller from before, and they were inches away from being able to see over the castle walls.
"It's working! We're growing!" Zelda said, excitedly. Link just nodded. He was too busy watching his own body increase in size. The stunned citizens of the market could only watch as the two giants grew bigger and bigger past the castle. There was a mix of feelings among the Hyrule Market crowd. Confusion, excitement, and fear were among the feelings being felt as the citizens could only watch as giant versions of Link and Zelda towered beside Hyrule Castle.
Meanwhile, after they both stopped growing at 100 feet tall, Link and Zelda both looked around each other. Hyrule looked so much different from their new perspective. Not to mention much smaller. Zelda looked in the background to see Hyrule Market.

"Link, what do you suppose the people of Hyrule Market are thinking at this point?" Zelda asked to Link as her amplified voice echoed throughout the Hyrule skies.
"I don't know. I'll bet they're terrified to see us at such a huge size. Should we talk to them?" Link asked.
"Well... we could. But I would really like to see the rest of Hyrule at this size. Think about it, we're almost as big as Biggoron now, Link! I'm sure we both have imagined what it's like to be his size!" Zelda said.
"Hmmm... good point. But honestly, I'll let you decide. You're the princess." Link said. Zelda smiled at that last remark, and began to think of what they could do as part of their first steps as giants. Zelda looked one last time down at the crowd that was beginning to gather before she looked over at Link.

"We better talk to them, Link. It's better if they know the truth now rather than having them ask questions later." Zelda said. Link nodded at her decision.

So Zelda took a few steps forward before she was already towering over the market. Link was not too far behind her. Zelda could see more panic from some people, probably from comparing themselves with the sheer size of the giants. Zelda kneeled down to get a closer look at them.

"Citizens of Hyrule. I know what you're seeing seems rather unorthodox, but recently I was able to successfully unlock the powers of an ancient song that allows anyone worthy enough to grow to this size. And as you can see, I also got Link, the Hero of Time, to grow with me as well." Zelda said. For some people, the panicked looks on their faces went away knowing that the two giants didn't mean any harm.

"Link and I will be going on a little adventure together, since there isn't any evil for the sages and I to contend with. So try to be careful as we both step to the outside world." Zelda said. She got back up and took another few big steps before she was able to clear the market and not harm anything. Link was able to do the same thing. They both waved at the citizens before they looked out towards Hyrule Field.

"Little adventure?" Link asked.
"Well... yeah. I mean, the world is a lot smaller now, isn't it?" Zelda asked.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Link said. He and the princess both looked down and admired at how much bigger they had really gotten.
"So what do we do now? There's so much to do in Hyrule. I can't make up my mind, even at this size!" Link said.
"We could always visit Biggoron on Death Mountain. I've always wanted to be as big as him, and I'm curious to know what he would think." Zelda said.
"Well, we could always find some monsters to crush. You know, loose monsters that Ganondorf left behind! No question of how they would fall to the might of both my sword and my boot!" Link shouted.

Zelda giggled at that remark, and strongly considered Link's idea, but she really wanted to speak with Biggoron now that she was the same size as the creature. Eventually, though, she sided with Link.
"Alright, we'll go find some bad things to crush. We can visit Biggoron later." Zelda said. So, Link and Zelda went to find some stray monster to crush in Hyrule Field. Eventually, they found what looked like a robber that was near Lon Lon Ranch. Link and Zelda smiled at each other and headed towards the thief.
"Hey!" said Link in a booming voice. The thief turned to see Link's huge boots before he looked up and gasped to see the giant Link towering above him. No doubt he was doubly surprised to see the princess of all Hyrule just as big as he was.
"And what were you doing? Stealing something from Lon Lon Ranch?" Link asked, with his arms folded.
"Umm...er.." stammered the thief.
"Answer him or we'll have to crush you." said Zelda.
"Oh...well...I didn't steal anything that important!" said the thief. Link then lifted his boot right above the thief.
"Should I crush him with my boot or let you do it, Zelda?" asked Link.

Zelda put her hand on Link's chest as she took a step forward.
"Allow me, Link. As the princess of Hyrule, I make most of the decisions. Plus, at least this guy's death won't be as gruesome when someone like me is doing it." Zelda said. Link nodded and took a step back, with Zelda inching closer to the thief. She didn't care that he was displaying some form of excitement over looking up to a giant Zelda.
"You have done a terrible deed to the land of Hyrule. For that, you deserve to be punished." Zelda said. She gracefully lifted her foot, encased in her pink glass slipper, and then brought it down on top of the thief, crushing him into a bloody mess of bones and flesh. Link could only help but smile at the princess.
"It's not like you to be this merciless to someone other than Ganon." Link said.
"Well... I guess I made an exception this time. Maybe because that comes from being so big." Zelda said.
"Yeah. I have to admit, I can't help but feel the same way." Link said.
"Y'know, we should check to make sure everything is okay with Lon Lon Ranch. Make sure Malon isn't too distraught over something getting stolen there." Zelda said. Link nodded, and the two turned in the opposite direction and took a few steps before they were already towering over Lon Lon Ranch.

The two giants looked to see Malon crying in the ranch where she kept the horses. At least was Epona was there, which was a relief to Link. When the two giants kneeled closer, Malon looked up and gasped. Malon took a step back.
"Are you alright, Malon?" asked Link.
"Y..yes" said Malon.
"What happened here?" asked Zelda.
"Two men came and stole Bessie, our prize cow." said Malon, "How did you get so big, fairy boy?"
"Long story, Malon" said Link.
"We only saw one man near Lon Lon Ranch and there was no cow." said Zelda.
"That other man disppeared in a flash." said Malon. "He must've had a Deku Nut."
"We can probably find Bessie at our new size, Zelda" said Link.
"Yes, but, where do we start looking?" Zelda asked. Link stood in his place, thinking about Malon's remark of how the thief used a Deku nut to get away. That's when he got an idea.
"Hey! Malon said he disappeared with a Deku nut, right?" Link said to Zelda.
"Yes?" Zelda said.
"There's only one place I know of that has Deku nuts, and that's in Kokiri Forest." Link said.
"Of course! The Kokiri Forest is home to many things Deku!" Zelda said. She then looked down at Malon once again, "Don't worry, Malon. We'll find Bessie for you." Malon nodded as the two giants walked away.

Several steps later, they were both towering over Kokiri Forest. Stopping short of the forest grounds itself, Link and Zelda looked down at the little Kokiri children, who had to be stunned and surprised to see two giants walking into their home.
"Children of the Kokiri. We come in peace. There is no need to be alarmed." Zelda said. Link kneeled down to get a closer look at them.
"Has any one of you seen a man with a cow has through this village?" Link asked. Nobody spoke until Mido decided to step up. Of course, Mido had no idea this giant was really Link as a young man, but Link took it in with satisfaction, especially since he absolutely towered over the boy.
"Uh... I have. But it was all a blur. We're not sure where he may be, but I know he's around this forest!" Mido shouted. Link nodded and then kneeled back up to look at Zelda.
"This thief is obviously a very fast one. He may be using more than his fair share of Deku nuts to get around." Link said.
"I agree. You should search this entire forest for him. I'll stay here and comfort the kids." Zelda said.
"All right. And if I see Saria, I'll see if I can get her to help." Link said.

As Zelda sat down on the ground, nearly crushing a house, Link took a mighty step over all the children in order to avoid stepping on one of them. He looked down at both the Deku Tree and the Sacred Forest Meadow and pondered where to start his search. Link decided to look at the Deku Tree, since he found so many Deku Nuts inside the tree all those years ago. He carefully stepped over a house and was next to the Deku Tree. The Deku Tree is almost as tall as Link is now. Link looked everywhere, but saw nobody on the outside. Link frowned. With his current size, he couldn't go inside the tree to look. But he could slice it open with his sword. The tree was dead anyway. And the New Deku Tree needed more room to grow.

So, Link drew his sword and was ready to cut the Deku Tree down, when he saw a flicker of movement.
The movement came from the "mouth" of the Deku Tree. It was almost too fast for Link to see. The movement was actually a kid from the village it looked like. Link made a grab for the fast kid, but the kid was too fast.
"Zelda!" said Link. "Grab that kid!"
Zelda looked baffled for a moment, but she soon saw the running kid heading towards her. Zelda quickly threw her hand down to try and catch the speedy kid, but she ended up grabbing nothing but the grassy grounds next to the kids. The kids did their best to get out of the way of the giants in case they would try something sudden.

"Dang it! I missed!" Zelda said. She quickly turned to see the kid running out towards Hyrule Field at a high rate of speed. She thought about giving chase, but Link, with one hand holding his sword and another on her shoulder, stopped her.
"Let him go. We'd only cause problems if we chased after him." Link said, pointing out their large size. Zelda nodded.
"Okay. But it just bothers me that anyone can run that fast!" Zelda said.
"We've seen nothing like him before. He's gotta be the fastest man alive!" one of the Kokiri kids said. Then Mido came running out from one of the houses below.
"Saria's gone!!! She just disappeared from her hut!" Mido shouted.
"What!?" Zelda said in shock.
"Did she go off to the Lost Woods?" Link asked as he kneeled down.
"I doubt it... she normally tells us as the Forest Sage that she is going to the Lost Woods." Mido said. Link then kneeled back up to look eye-to-eye into the same-sized Princess Zelda.

"This is way too strange. First Malon's cow, and then Saria." Link said.
"Yeah, not to mention these thieves being so different than from what we're used to." Zelda said.
"And it can't be Ganondorf behind all this..." Link said.
"You're right. These thieves looked like normal Hylians, like us. Whatever they're getting their powers from is from something else. Something maybe even as evil as Ganondorf." Zelda said.
"Let's hope not. I'm more concerned about Saria than Bessie. What do you think happened to her?" said Link.
"I don't know, maybe she was kidnapped by that speedy kid." Zelda said.
"Hmmm.." said Link.
"That speedy kid was heading towards Hyrule Field." said Zelda, "We better take a look there."
"Or, we might find her in the Lost Woods. It is a big forest, after all." said Link. Zelda was a bit confused that Link would say something like that, especially since that kid ran by so fast and it was shortly after that when it was announced that Saria was gone. But then again, Link had special feelings for Saria, and he might just be right. So Zelda conceded.

"Yes. We should search the Lost Woods. I'm sure you have a good feeling about this." Zelda said.
"Okay. You can search the west side. I'll search the east. Let me know if you find anything." Link said.
"Got it. Oh... and let's be careful we don't accidentally crush anyone in the woods." Zelda said. Link nodded as the two split in different directions.

Link got down on his knees and hands as he lowered his head close enough to see within the thick trees of the Lost Woods. At times he would take out his sword and carefully slice off pieces of trees in order to see better. Fortunately for him and Zelda, the woods seemed to be populated by only a couple kids at the moment, so they didn't have to worry about doing a lot of accidental crushing. Nevertheless, they remained as careful as they could.

Zelda, likewise, brushed aside the many trees in order to find some trace of Saria. So far, both giants were having little luck. Zelda at times wondered if it was worth it being this big, as they could easily search the woods at normal size. But she quickly shook off that thought, and at times pictured Link and herself walking from land to land greeting the tiny citizens of Hyrule. She still hoped something like that could happen after they catch these thieves and rescue all that is captured.

Finally, Zelda looked closely down to where the entrance to the Sacred Forest Meadow was, and noticed something of great interest... Saria's ocarina!
"Link! I found something!" Zelda shouted. Link turned around to look at his princess at he stood back up and walked over next to her. Zelda carefully picked up the ocarina, stood up, and showed it to Link.
"Look at this... Saria must've dropped it." Zelda said.
"Her ocarina. She's rarely without it. I'd say she definitely got captured." Link said.
"Yeah... but where is she? She could be anywhere. If only we had some way to contact her." Zelda said. This gave Link an idea.

"Wait... I have an idea! We can telepathically contact Saria by playing her song! She told me years ago I could play her song if I ever wanted to talk to her." Link said.
"Great! But... how are we going to play the song?" Zelda said, pointing out that playing such a small ocarina at their size would prove problematic.
"No problem." Link said, as he pulled out his ocarina, which managed to be enlarged as well since Link had it with him by the time he grew.
"All right! Now, let's just hope the thieves aren't around Saria. They might get suspicious if they find her communicating with us." Zelda said.
"Well, here goes nothing." Link said as he started to play Saria's Song. As big as the two were, the song could be heard all the way to Death Mountain. After he played the song, Link tried to contact Saria.

"Saria. Can you hear me?" asked Link.
"Link! Yes, I can hear you!" said Saria as her voice echoed in his head.
"Where are you?" asked Link.
"In the Forest Temple." said Saria, "I thought I saw somebody enter the temple."
"Did you see who it was?" asked Link.
"It looked like it was an adult." said Saria. "I didn't get a good look though."
"Why didn't you..." started Link.
"Oh! No! It can't be...!? Link, it's.....uhh.." Said Saria. It sounded like she was knocked out.
"SARIA!!" yelled Link. There was no reply.
"What is it? Is she okay!?" Zelda asked.
"Saria is in the temple. It sounded like she was attacked." said Link to Zelda.
"By whom?" asked Zelda.
"I don't know. Saria said she thought she saw an adult enter the temple." said Link.
"An adult?" asked Zelda.
"What should we do? We're too big to fit in the temple." asked Link.
"Link, I have a bad feeling about this." said Zelda.
"So do I." said Link. Eventually, the wait paid off as Zelda looked to see an older man walk out of the temple. Both were surprised to see the man looked like a construction worker, one that you would typically see around Kakariko Village. As he climbed down from the entrance, he turned and then looked up to see the two giants directly over him!

"Going somewhere, little guy?" Zelda said.
"Ack!!! Giants!!! HELP!!!" the man screamed. He turned to climb back up into the temple, but Link thrusted his sword down with force, blocking the way back.
"Just control yourself, and nobody gets hurt." Link said. Zelda then kneeled down to pick up this man as she held him with her two fingers at eye level.
"Please, please!!! Don't hurt me!!! I was only doing what I was told! Honest!!!" the man screamed. Zelda cracked a little smile knowing that she was scaring the living daylights out of this man. But now was the time to inquire him.

"What have you done to Saria!?" Zelda asked.
"Wha...? Who? I don't know who you're...!" the man's thoughts were cut as Zelda tightened her grip.
"Short girl with green hair and clothes. The one who we understand you hurt!" Link said.
"Oh! Her? Hey, don't worry, guys! I only tied her up... it's not like I beat her to the ground!" the man said. Link was slightly relieved that Saria was still alive, but he still didn't appreciate his friend getting tangled up in this mess.
"Bring her out here, and we might let you live." Zelda said as she let the man down to the temple entrance. A short time later, he came back out with Saria beside him. Saria could only gasp as she looked up. Zelda picked both up again.
"Link? Princess Zelda?" Saria asked.
"Yes, Saria. Are you okay?" Link asked.
"I'm just fine. I'm fortunate that guy didn't hurt me." Saria said. Zelda smiled down on Saria.
"You'll be fine now, Saria." Zelda said. She then gave her to Link who proceeded to set her down at the Sacred Forest Meadow. Zelda, meanwhile, was back looking at the construction worker.
"Tell us where your boss is!" Zelda said, keeping a tight grip on the man.
"He's in Gerudo Valley!" the man said, "Now, let me go please!"
"Do you know anything about a missing cow or a fast-moving kid?" asked Zelda.
"What? No. I don't know anything about that cow or that fast kid!" the man said.
"How did you know the fast kid was..." started Zelda.
Suddenly, a flicker of movement got Link's attention. He took half a step and managed to grab the movement. He closed his fist tightly, so the fast kid wouldn't get away.

"Ah ha! Finally caught you!" said Link.
"Let me go, you big oaf!" said the fast kid from within the fist.
"First, we want to know who is behind this!" said Zelda.
"I ain't telling you that!" said the fast kid.
"Well, at least point in a direction" said Link, opening his fist slightly.
"He's in Gerudo Valley!" said the fast kid.
"Alright, you're free to go" said Link. He started to lower the kid back towards the ground, but Zelda stopped him.
"Not quite yet. Why have you joined whoever is behind this?" said Zelda.
"Because he promised that I would be in charge of the forest, instead of that jerk, Mido!" said the kid. Link cracked a smile. He agreed with the kid that Mido was a jerk.
"What about the missing cow?" asked Link.
"It's in the valley. It was going to go to the graveyard tonight." said the kid.
"What?! You mean you killed it?" asked Link.
"No, I delivered it!" said the kid, "I got a note that said if I stole a cow from Lon Lon Ranch, I'll be rewarded with power!"
"Who was the delivery made to?" asked Zelda.
"It was a Gerudo female. She didn't tell me her name." said the kid.
"Well, it seems that we need to go to Gerudo Valley." said Zelda. Link nodded and freed the fast kid, who zipped and saved the older man in Zelda's hand as they both ran away.
"Wait, we should tell Malon what's going on. She must be worried sick. We better tell her of the situation." Link said. The two giants then carefully stepped out of Kokiri Village and made their way to Lon Lon Ranch.

Malon was working with the horses when she heard rumbling in the distance. That's when she looked up to see the giants approaching her. Zelda kneeled down.
"Malon, we think we've found Bessie. It seems the group of thieves are holding her captive in Gerudo Valley." Zelda said.
"Gerudo Valley? Who there would possibly want Bessie!?" Malon shouted.
"We're not sure. Hopefully nothing bad. She's still alive, but we gotta get there quickly. They're planning to bury her in the Kakariko Graveyard after sundown." Link said.
"Wait! Take me with you!" Malon shouted.
"Malon! The Gerudos are a ruthless group of people. If they're in on this, who knows what they might do to someone like you." Link said.
"I don't care! You two could protect me! Maybe I could even help track down Bessie for you!" Malon said.
"Okay, you can come along" said Zelda.
"WHAT?!" said Link.
"We can protect her. Besides, who could possibly harm us?" said Zelda.
"Good point." said Link and he picked up Malon and placed her on Zelda's shoulder.

As the giants (with Malon still sitting on Zelda's right shoulder) approached Gerudo Valley, they saw a flicker of movement.
"Our fast friend is here." said Link.
"Probably to warn the boss." said Zelda. She put down Malon as soon as they reached the Gerudo homestead. The Gerudo guards didn't do anything to Malon since the giants were there, but they seemed nervous letting Malon go freely about the complex.
"What's happening here?" asked Link, who got on his knees.
"Nabooru will tell you when she comes" said a guard. "She...."
"Be quiet!" snapped another guard.
"What's wrong with Nabooru?" asked Zelda. Malon came out of a building, leading Bessie out.
"She has the cow! Get her!" yelled a guard. A series of guards came running after Bessie, but Link stabbed his sword downwards and Zelda shot a small fireball down to at least scare them. Malon was able to make it to Zelda's huge glass slipper as she took cover behind it.

The guards were charging after Malon again before a familiar voice stopped them from behind.
"Stop! That's enough!" the voice said. Link and Zelda looked down to see it was Nabooru.
"Link! Zelda! Thank goodness you're... here." Nabooru said, obviously stunned to see the two so big.
"We know what's coming. A shocked look from one of our friends because we're gigantic now." Link said as he looked to Zelda. Zelda smiled and then looked down at Nabooru.
"You keep growing every time I see you." said Nabooru.
"Nabooru? How could you!?" Zelda asked.
"How could I? I had nothing to do with it!" Nabooru said.
"What do you mean?" Link asked.
"I don't want anything to do with a cow! Perhaps one of my fellow Gerudos was causing you all this trouble." Nabooru said.
"Y'know, that could be, Link. It's not like Nabooru to go around hiring people of other races, let alone power them up and have them steal cows or try to kidnap beautiful girls." Zelda said.
"I suppose you're right. We're sorry, Nabooru." Link said.
"Heh... it's cool. Again, I'm sorry too. I'll have my guards search throughout the valley for this troublemaker right away." Nabooru said.
"Alright." Link said as he easily picked up Malon and Bessie.
"Come on, let's go back to Lon Lon Ranch." said Link. Zelda nods. Another several steps and they were back at Lon Lon Ranch. Link put Malon and Bessie down.

"Thank you for all your help!" yelled Malon. Link and Zelda smiled.

"What if the thief comes back?" asked Malon.
"Well, you come and tell us when that happens. It's getting late now and I doubt that thief will come back so soon." said Link. Link and Zelda waved goodbye to Malon as they left Lon Lon Ranch. Zelda looked up at the sky, and Link was right, it was just getting dusk. She took a huge breath in and then out.
"Our first day as giants." said Zelda quietly.
"Yeah. What a day it's been. I mean, first we have to deal with speedy children acting as thieves, then we rescue Malon's prized cow and Saria from angry construction workers. And someone other than Nabooru is causing all this trouble." Link said.
"Mmmhmm. And to think we'd cause enough of a frenzy by growing to this height." Zelda said.
"You know, I'm getting kinda hungry. What do we eat anyway?" said Link.
"Not the people, surely." said Zelda.
"Then what?" asked Link.
"We could to Hyrule Castle Town. I'm sure the Bazaar has enough food for us." said Zelda.

As the sun began to set over Hyrule, Link nodded at Zelda's idea. So the two were once again towering over the Hyrule Castle Market. Even standing outside the drawbridge, the two massive bodies could still be easily seen by much of the town. Once again, they froze in their spots as to what was going to happen.

"Will the bazaar please report outside?" Zelda said. A couple minutes later, the bazaar was standing on the drawbridge.
"Y..Y...Yes, princess?" the bazaar said. He was obviously stunned to see her and Link at such a large size.
"I need you to prepare a... very large meal for myself and Link. Pronto!" Zelda said. The bazaar nodded his head and went back into town, no doubt ordering every cook in town to start making something for the giants.

An hour later, when the moonlight started to settle in, the two giants were now sitting in the front yard of Hyrule Castle, as tons of cooks held up their food for the two to throw down their vast stomachs. After all the plates were cleaned out, the bazaar was anxious to hear how they were feeling.
"So, how are you two feeling?" he asked.
"Well, it's not quite enough, but it'll do. I commend you and the cooks of Hyrule for making the best of a difficult situation." Zelda said.
"Thank you, princess. Have a good night's rest." the bazaar said before he left.

"So, where are we going to sleep?" Link asked.
"We'll sleep behind Hyrule Castle." Zelda said. Link smiled... he remembered the old days of when he would sleep anywhere, even in the muddiest of grounds in the Lost Woods. Before Zelda could lay down, however, she looked down at one of the guards standing in front of the castle.
"Oh! You... have the cooks get started on a big breakfest for Link and I tomorrow. We're likely gonna need it for our next 24 hours as giants." Zelda said. The guard nodded.

She smiled as she and Link laid down on the grounds, crushing trees and other things that were behind the castle. The simple thought of being big for another day was exciting to think about, even with all they had to do to save Hyrule from a mess of superhuman thieves. Heck, if they were lucky... something like that could happen again tomorrow.

Link was having a dream. He started to remember the first time he had met his dark self. It was in the water temple in Lake Hylia...

Link had entered a big room. Nothing appeared to be in it. Slowly, he walked across the room, ready for anything. He had made it across the room where bars came down on the door. Link turned around. There was a tree suddenly in the middle of the room and the room looked like it was outside. Sitting at the trunk of the tree was a dark figure. Link walked closer to examine the figure. The shadowy figure was himself. It looked almost like a shadow, but it had red eyes.

"Greetings" said the figure.
"You're me?!" asked Link.
"I'm your dark side" said the figure. "released from you by Ganondorf"
"So I guess we fight" said Link.
Dark Link chuckled and stood up.

It had been a long and tough battle. The two exchanged blows right after another. Dark Link was winning. After Dark Link had struck Link to the floor, Link acted as if he was dead.

"That's all you have?" said Dark Link, coming closer to Link. In a blink of an eye, Link got up and stabbed Dark Link. Dark Link had gasped and disappeared.

The last thing he saw as the dream faded to black was someone yelling, "Seize that man!"

Link wasn't sure what had woken him. He didn't see or hear anything that would wake him. He looked to see Hyrule Castle still standing. Zelda was right beside him. She also had woken with a start. It was still nighttime in Hyrule.
"Get him!" yelled a guard.
Link sat up to get a better look. It seemed as if as someone sneaked on the castle grounds and the guards were after whoever it was. He smiled at the memory of himself sneaking into the castle. It hadn't been easy. He caught sight of the man running from the guards. It seemed to be a young adult boy no older than Link was. The young man was carrying something, but it was too small for Link to see it clearly.

"What's happening, Link?" asked Zelda.
"It looks like someone sneaked past the guards." said Link.
"Well, let's go greet him." said Zelda. Link stood up to his full height. The young man stopped in his tracks as he saw the giant Link emerge from behind the castle. Zelda also stood up to her full height. Two guards came to the man and grabbed his arms. The young man didn't struggle.

"And who are you?" asked Zelda as she carefully stepped forward towards the man. The young man didn't reply.
"The princess asked you a question!" snapped one of the guards.
"I am Izim! I'm a painter in the village. I usually do my paintings in the daytime. But, I wanted to try to paint at night. The drawbridge was up, so I came here to paint." said the young man. Something didn't ring true for Link. First off, Izim didn't carry any painting equipment. And another thing, why would he sneak past the guards?

"I think you're lying." said Link.
"I'm telling the truth!" said Izim.
"Link!" said Zelda. "Izim did all the paintings in the castle!"
"Oh really? Then why did he sneak pass the guards?" asked Link.
"I couldn't get past them. For some reason, they were very....passionate to not letting me pass...and now I can see why" said Izim.
"Guards, let him go." ordered Zelda. The guards obeyed at once.
"What were you going to paint?" asked Link.
"The castle at night" replied Izim.
"Go right ahead" said Zelda.

One hour later

The sun was just about to raise. Link decided that going back to sleep was useless. His stomach growled.
"I'm going to the market for breakfest." said Link. The townsfolk of Hyrule Castle Town made a bigger feast than they did yesterday. Link and Zelda almost ate all the food. By the time they had finished eating, it was mid-morning. After the feast, Link and Zelda walked to Hyrule Field.

"Well, where shall we go today?" asked Link.
"We could go visit Kakariko Village now." said Zelda. Link nodded. The people of Kakariko Village were in shock to see the two giants, especially since they looked half as big as Death Mountain itself. Zelda, as she and Link started to walk up the mountain, saw there was some type of trouble. Two kids were in front of a HUGE boulder.
"What's the matter?" asked Zelda, stepping over. The two kids turned around and yelped.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you." said Zelda.
"Bobby went in the cave and then there was an avalanche!" said one of the kids.
Zelda nodded and tried to move the boulder. It was pretty easy for her. Link was chatting with the townsfolk, easing any worries they may have about he and the princess being so big. The boulder was just about out of the way, when someone threw a bomb flower at Zelda. The bomb didn't hurt Zelda, but it did surprise her, making her drop the boulder. The whole mountain shook it seemed.

"Hey!" yelled Zelda, "Who threw that bomb flower?"
Just as Zelda asked her question, she could hear a childish-sounding laughter nearby. She looked down nearby to see it was another kid, laughing hysterically.
"Hahaha!!! It was me! Nobody gets through to Bobby without getting me first!" the kid said. Zelda stood to her full height, no doubt to try and scare the kid.
"Oh really? Hasn't it occured to you, kid, that you've got some BIG adults looking over you?" Zelda said. She then kneeled down to remove the boulders once again.

"Oh no you don't!" The kid shouted as he picked up another bomb flower, but apparently he forgot about the giant Link that was also here. Link picked up the kid and held him high in the sky. He had also plucked the bomb flower from his fingers and thrown it out in the distance.
"Oh yes she will. Y'know, Zelda, I wouldn't doubt for one second that this kid was causing the avalanche." Link said.
"I would agree." Zelda said, as she removed the last of the boulders. Then, she watched as Bobby came running out, coughing and weakly running out. The lack of air and the muggy atmosphere inside the caves had to be draining for him.

Zelda gently patted Bobby with her big hand.
"It's okay, Bobby. You're safe now." Zelda said. Bobby took one look up at the giant Zelda and almost fainted. Luckily, his two friends were able to catch him.
"You two get him home as quickly as you can so that he gets the care he needs." Zelda said.
"Yes, ma'am!" the boys said as they walked away. Zelda then kneeled back up and focused her attention on Link, holding the troublesome bully in his hand.

"Now, as for you." Zelda said.
"Awww... what are you two going to do? I can take you two on anytime!" the kid said.
"Geez... talk about an attitude problem. What do you say we do, Zelda?" Link asked.
"I say that he needs punishment! After all, he DID threw a bomb at me." said Zelda.
"How should we punish him then?" asked Link.
"If you two don't let me go, you'll be sorry!" shouted the kid.

"I don't think we need to kill him. He's just a kid, after all." said Link. Link started to squeeze the kid in his hand. Not hard. Just to make the kid uncomfortable. The kid seemed to be ignoring the pain.

"I agree, so I think we should stick him in the cave that Bobby was in. See if he likes it!" said Zelda.

"Good idea." said Link and smiled. He placed the kid inside of the cave that Bobby was in and blocked the cave with his massive boot.

"Let me out!" came the kid's voice, "I'm scared of the dark!"
"Too bad. Now accept your punishment!" said Link. They kept this up for a few minutes before finally letting him go. Before he ran away, Zelda said one last thing to him.
"Remember, if you mess with us again, things like that will happen." Zelda said. When the kid was gone, Link felt it was time to explore more of Hyrule.
"Come on, Zelda. We should do some more exploring while we have the opportunity." Link said.
"Yes. We'll let the Gorons take care of those brats." Zelda said.
"So, where do you have in mind?" Link asked.
"Well, we passed by Kakariko Village on the way here. They're probably scared and confused as to what's going on." Zelda said as she pointed down to the village that was several yards from their feet.
"Or I was thinking of Lake Hylia. I could really use a swim there, and maybe we can even meet the Zoras there." Link said.
"True, considering they have a gateway from their domain to the lake. But let's stay and tell the people what's happening." Zelda said. Link nodded. The two giants turned right around and maybe took a tiny step or two (to them, anyway) before they absolutely dwarfed the village with their big shadows. Indeed, the villagers seemed to be scared of the two giants. A few people weren't so scared. In fact, a little girl waved happily at Zelda. She of course waved back.

Link told everyone what was happening. Many of the villagers seem to accept that the two were friendly giants, so the two stayed at Kakariko Village for at least half of the day, helping out with some small deeds that the villagers couldn't possibly do at their own normal heights. At around sunset, Zelda finally said she wanted to go take that bath. Link nodded and began to walk to Lake Hylia, letting Zelda hold onto his arm like they were being escorted to a ball. Little did they know, they weren't going alone.

The lake seemed much smaller now that the two were giant-sized. There was nobody around it seemed.
"Well, time for that bath." said Zelda. Then, there was an "Ahh-choo!" that came from the ground. Zelda looked at the ground, but saw nobody at first. Then, she noticed there was someone INSIDE her glass slipper.
"Oh no you don't!" said Zelda, taking off her slipper. She then turned the slipper upside-down and dumped the person onto the ground. Zelda had to kneel to look at the person. Her eyes went wide as she saw who it was.

"Hi..." said Izim.
"What do you mean 'hi'?" asked Link. Zelda noticed Izim and stepped closer, placing her slipper back on.
"Izim, how did you get here?" asked Zelda. Izim didn't answer right away. He seemed to be VERY nervous about something.
"We're waiting for an answer." said Link, crossing his arms across his chest.
"Look, I didn't mean it to go this far." said Izim. As he was saying this, Izim was digging for something in his pockets. A few moments later, Izim pulled what look like a Deku Nut from him pocket. Zelda and Link gasped.
"Izim! It was you who stole Bessie!" yelled Zelda.
"Yes, my master needed milk from that cow to become stronger. That milk is incredible, as you know, great Hero of Time!" said Izim.
"Make who stronger?" asked Link.
"You defeated him long ago." said Izim.
"Ganondorf?!" asked Zelda.
"It is not Ganondorf. You once fought him in someplace VERY warm. But you defeated him, and he wants revenge" said Izim. And with that, Izim throws the Deku Nut on the ground and disappeared.
"You know, people seem to like that trick." said Link, looking at Zelda.
"Oh, be quiet. Anyway, who did you defeat in a warm place?" said Zelda. Link had to think about that.
"There was that dragon on Death Mountain. He could also be talking about the desert beyond Gerudo Valley, but I don't remember battling a him there. I only fought women there. Even Twinrova was two women." said Link.
"Then what? It couldn't be that dragon..could it?" asked Zelda.
"I don't know..." said Link.
"I can't beileve Izim would steal a cow." said Zelda.
"Maybe he's getting blackmailed." said Link.
"Oh well... I wanna take my bath. Care to join me?" said Zelda.
"You take your bath. I'm going to look for Izim." said Link.
"But where did he go?" asked Zelda.
"I have a feeling he didn't go far." said Link, as he walked away from Lake Hylia.

Link walked slowly and didn't notice anything. Suddenly, he saw a flicker of movement from the far side of the lake. Link looked in the direction of the movement, but it turned out to be a Zora. Not just any Zora. It was Ruto, Sage of Water! She didn't seem to notice Link or Zelda however. She looked to be fishing. Link decided not to go to Ruto. Ever since she had promised to marry him one day, Link made it a point to stay away from her. Link would much rather marry Zelda. At least Zelda was the same SPECIES as he was. But, Link knew that he couldn't marry Zelda. She was a princess, and Link was no prince. However, he was the Hero of Time. If it wasn't for him, Ganondorf would rule all Hyrule. Well...the sages had helped in defeating Ganondorf. But it was Link who had freed the sages.

Link ended up in Hyrule Field again. Night was upon the land. Hyrule Field is a dangerous place at night. Even though the evil of Ganondorf had gone, skeletons still rose from the ground. Of course, Link crushed any skeletons that came near him. Skeletons are extremely stupid.
Where had Izim gone? Perhaps he went to Kakariko Village. But, should Link go to Kakariko Village now, or wait until tomorrow? As he pondered his decision, there was a yell that came from Lake Hylia. Link hadn't gone far from the lake. Link turned and ran to Lake Hylia to see Zelda's body submerged in the water.
Link looked and marveled at how Zelda's body just fit in the entire lake. Of course, there was some extra room in case Link wanted to dive in. Another thing interesting to Link was that Zelda didn't have her princess gown on as it laid on the dry land. But only Zelda's head and knees were sticking out above the water. Link just folded his arms and cracked a smile.
"Not so modest, are you?" Link said.
"Very funny... Listen, can you get me a towel? Of course I'll have to dry off once I get out." Zelda said.
"Huh? Where are we supposed to find a towel at your size?" Link asked.
"Ask the people of Hyrule Market. Surely they can think of something." Zelda said, winking an eye at Link.
"Okay, okay. I'll be back." Link said. He then walked off towards the Hyrule Market, once again crushing anything that stood in his path.

Once he reached the market, most of the people were asleep, so asking for help was going to be a bit of a problem. Just then, he got an idea after looking at the many tents that were sitting still around the place. He figured he would wrap enough of these together and form one large towel for Zelda. As Link looked to see it was enough, he took one more look around the town, and could suddenly see Izim zip into the picture, almost as fast as the kid from earlier. Link watched Izim carefully, not wanting to be spotted by the weird character, as to what he was doing.

Izim doesn't seem to notice Link as he looks around before entering the inn. Link cursed under his breath as he noticed a cloaked figure walking towards the inn. Only the head is visible, but Link couldn't see very well. Clouds covered the moon as the streets were almost completely dark. Luckily, the figure moved within the light of a torch and Link could see the face. It was a Gerudo female which vaguely looked like Nabooru. This Gerudo female had a scar on her face. She also wore an eye-patch on her left eye.
The Gerudo female continued to walk towards the inn. Link watched in silence as he saw the Gerudo female enter the inn. Something told Link that the female was looking for Izim.
Link took half a step, so that he was beside the inn. He kneeled down to look in the small window. Nobody seemed to noticed a giant eye-ball looking in the window. One person did notice, however. The person stared at Link and then looked at the mug he was drinking from. The person quickly put the mug down. Link had to stop himself from laughing.

Link noticed that Izim was at the bar, drinking from a tall mug. The Gerudo female walked calmly up to the bar beside Izim. Izim nodded his head at the female. Izim and the Gerudo female talked with each other. Link could only hear snatches of the talk. This is what Link heard:

"Izim, have you got the final milk jug?"
"No, Jaboori, Link and Zelda saved Bessie."
"Blast it, Izim! I thought you said...."
"I want out of this, Jaboori."
"You know you can't get out of this. We still have your wife hostage. And if you want out of this, we'll kill your wife."

Link had heard enough. He walked out of the Market and made his way to Lake Hylia with the "towel" for Zelda.
When Link retured to Lake Hylia, Zelda was part-way out of the water, with her back to him. Link could see Zelda's shapely ass. Zelda was talking to Ruto. As Link got closer, Ruto noticed Link.
"Hey, Link!" shouted Ruto.
Zelda yelped and splahsed back into the lake, covering her breasts.
"I have your towel." said Link. Zelda looked at the 'towel' and sighed.
"You could've done better." said Zelda.
"Well, tell me where to find a towel big enough for us!" said Link, sounding a little angry.
"Oh, yeah. Well, turn around while I get out of here." said Zelda.
"I was thinking of joining you." said Link.
"You did?" asked Zelda, "Well, think again. TURN AROUND!!!" Link did as he was told. While Zelda was slipping herself back into her dress, Link told her what he heard in the Market.

"Hmmm... Izim IS being blackmailed then." said Zelda.
"Right. What should we do about it?" said Link.
"I think we should wait until tomorrow to do anything, when it's daylight." said Zelda.
"Well, time for my bath." said Link. He looked directly at Ruto in the lake, smiling up at him.
"I don't think so. You get out of there!" said Link.
"But this is my home, hero!" said Ruto.
"Can't I just eat her? Even if I don't like seafood." whispered Link.
"You said something?" asked Ruto.
"Never mind." said Link. Zelda picked up Ruto and her dress from the lake. Ruto seemed miffed to go, but she had little choice. Zelda walked away from Lake Hylia and headed for Hyrule Field. Zelda left the "towel" on the dry land.

Link then slowly stepped into the lake, only taking off his boots. Sure, he had his clothes on, but an experience like this would remind him of the days he would sometimes sleep in mud over at the Lost Woods. He almost filled the lake. It was nice to get a bath at this size. Looking around, he saw nobody else in the lake. He relaxed. He could remember the last time he was here. He had to go to the Water Temple and free Ruto. He also remembered the battle with his dark self. Far and away, Link thought that the Water Temple was the hardest Temple of them all. Link started to hum a tune as he soaked in Lake Hylia.

Suddenly, there was a flicker of movement on the land. The movement came from the direction of Link's clothes. Link decided to not to worry about it. Nobody would--or could--steal anything from him. All his things were far too big to be carried. Unless there was an army, his boots couldn't be moved.
"Excuse me." said a voice.
Link looked around and saw the voice came from a young teenager on the shore. Link recongized the teenager at once. It was Bobby, the boy who was saved at the Avalanche earlier. Link wondered how did the boy got here without him or Zelda noticing. More to the point, how long had he been here?
"I just wanted to thank you for saving me." said Bobby.
"No problem, kid. How did you come here?" said Link.
"I ran. I'm a fast runner." said Bobby. Now Link knew that Bobby couldn't have ran from Kakariko Village all the way to Lake Hylia in a day. Hyrule Field was vast. Also, Link saw no weapon. How did Bobby fend off the skeletons?
"Those skeletons can be tough, huh?" asked Link.
"Uhh....yeah... real tough." said Bobby. All of the sudden, Link felt something on his back. Link reached and got the item. It was an arrow, painted black. No, no. It WAS black. It seemed to be shadowy. The arrow was tiny. Link looked to see who shot the arrow.
"What a sap!" yelled Bobby.
Bobby suddenly turned into a shadow with red eyes. Link gasped as he saw it was his dark self!
"What are you doing here?! I killed you!" said Link.
"Evil can't die easily. I've noticed that you've gotten bigger since we last met." said Dark Link.
"What do you want?!" asked Link.
"Since you're bigger, I'll be bigger too!" And with that, Dark Link grew until he was as big as Link. Dark Link smiled.
Link dashed out of the lake and grabbed his sword and shield. It didn't matter that his clothes was dripping wet and drenching much of the land below him.
"In a hurry, are we? But I'm not in the fighting mood....yet. Meet me tomorrow in Hyrule Field at noon." asked Dark Link. With that, Dark Link was gone. Link just stood there. Was Dark Link a part of this plot with Jaboori?

Zelda soon came back, with Ruto sitting on her shoulder, to find Link standing up in the lake. Luckily, Zelda was back in her princess gown.
"Ahem... am I interrupting you?" Zelda said, with her arms folded. Link looked to see Zelda had returned, and he put away his sword and shield.
"DON'T even think about it, Ruto." Link said. But Ruto whistled at him anyway.
"You can't keep a good water princess down, Linky-boy." Ruto said.
"Whatever. Meanwhile, you wouldn't believe this, Zelda, but I saw Dark Link!" Link said as he started to put his clothes back on.
"Dark Link? Where? When?" Zelda asked. Unaware to the princess, Ruto had dived back into the lake and was swimming circles around the giant Link, no doubt to admire his huge size.

"Right beside the lake just a few seconds ago... and he's able to grow as big as me. He's challenging me to a duel over Hyrule Field tomorrow at noon." Link said.
"What!? Link... don't do it! You two will surely destroy Hyrule!" Zelda said.
"I don't know if I have much of a choice... and supposedly he has ties with Jaboori." Link said.
"Jaboori? Oh boy... it seems we'll have our hands full tomorrow. And all I wanted out of this experience was to go from town to town and see it from a new perspective." Zelda said.
"Yeah, me too. Hopefully we can still do that after we beat Dark Link and Jaboori... and save Izim from his troubles." Link said.
"We can discuss this further tomorrow. We need some sleep tonight. Ruto, Link and I would like to be alone for tonight, but ask your servants to prepare breakfest for us tomorrow." Zelda said.
"Awwww... okay!" Ruto said, disappointed that she has to leave the giant Link behind as she swam underwater. Link and Zelda then laid down on the ground right next to the lake and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, about three hours before Link's battle, the two woke up to find two large buckets of fish. This must've been the breakfest that the two giants asked for.
"Heh... I should've known Ruto would leave us fish for breakfest." Zelda said.
"Well, as she said, you can't keep a good water princess down." Link said. They then dumped all the fish in the buckets in their mouths and swallowed them all with one gulp.
"Yeah. But at least the fish fill you up right." Zelda said, feeling her tummy relieve from all the fish she had swallowed. The two giants rose to their full height.
"So, what now? It's still a couple hours before I have to fight Dark Link. Even if I refused to battle, surely he would either look for me or crush Hyrule to pieces." Link said.
"Yeah... well, we should visit the Gerudos and try to get them to help us with Jaboori." Zelda said. Link nodded.

When they had arrived at the valley, things were in chaos. Some of the guards were battling other Gerudo females.
"What is the meaning of this?!" asked Zelda loudly. The battling stopped at once and the two groups broke up. Nobody spoke to Zelda or Link.
"Where's Nabooru?" asked Link. Nabooru walked out of the settlement and looked way up at the giant Link and Zelda.
"Nabooru...just what is going on here? And who is Jaboori?" asked Link. Nabooru sighed.
"One month after you defeated Ganondorf, that's when the troubles began with Jaboori. Jaboori is....my sister and was wife to Ganondorf. When Ganondorf fell, Jaboori vowed to kill Link for killing her husband. Jaboori, of course, couldn't defeat the great Hero of Time by herself. So she enlisted a kid from the forest and a teenager in Kakariko Village, both of which were homeless to begin with. And Dark Link joined her as well to do her bidding." said Nabooru.
"She also has Izim the Painter." said Zelda.
"We heard about Izim." said Nabooru, "Poor way to recuit followers. We'd help Izim's wife if we could, but we don't know where she is. She isn't in Izim's house in Hyrule Market."
"What was the fighting just now?" asked Link. Nabooru sighed again.
"Jaboori is trying to take over Gerudo Valley. She also has allies here, but we outnumber those loyal to Jaboori for now." said Nabooru.
"And what is Jaboori planning?" asked Link.
"To bring back Ganondorf." said Nabooru.
"But that's impossible! The seal we made is good for at least 10,000 years!" said Zelda.
"I know, but that's not stopping Jaboori. I'm not sure how she plans to bring back Ganondorf" said Nabooru. Link sighed and glanced at Hyrule Field. Dark Link could be seen. Dark Link had his back to Link and looked like he was talking to someone. Probably Jaboori. Only one hour until the duel. But, should Link try to overhear what Dark Link and Jaboori are talking about? That's exactly what he was thinking.

"Pssst... hey, Zelda. Look who's already here." Link said to Zelda. She looked back to see Dark Link, with his back turned like he was talking to someone standing within the Hyrule Market.
"You sure weren't kidding, Link..." Zelda said.
"I have a hunch he's talking about the plan with Jaboori." Link said.
"Alright, but be careful. We can't afford to let him think he's spying on you. I'll stay and talk about this some more with Nabooru." Zelda said. Link nodded as he started to walk away from the Gerudo Valley.

He took light steps to ensure that neither Jaboori or Giant Dark Link could find out he was there. Being big meant there wasn't any good place to hide, but Link cleverly found a patch of trees to duck down upon and use his sensitive ears to pick up what they were saying.
"I promise you, Jaboori. I will not fail in my quest to defeat Link!" Dark Link said.
"You better not. I've already had enough failures already. My plan will be tougher to execute thanks to the missing one bottle of super milk that Izim the Idiot couldn't get." Jaboori said.
"Master, if I may ask, what is the purpose of this super milk?" Dark Link said.
"This milk contains special qualities that is said to greatly enhance anyone's growth hormone that drinks it. When it's time, I plan to take this milk myself and go one-on-one with the princess. Once both Link and Zelda are defeated, we will take their pieces of the Triforce, and open up the gates of the Sacred Realm to free Ganondorf!" Jaboori said.
"And what of Izim and those kids of yours?" Dark Link asked.
"Those fools? Ha! They've served their purpose. I trapped them underneath the Kakariko Graveyard, where they'll all be killed by the ReDeads very soon." Jaboori said.

That definitely didn't sound good. With Jaboori planning to match the size of the giants with that milk she had been stealing, a two-to-one battle would not look good for Link. So he carefully picked himself up and slowly made his way back to Gerudo Valley, fortunate enough that neither of the evil villains were paying attention to what was going on behind them. Link breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't think the villains would be that blind to what's happening around them, but it did give him an idea.

Link walked back to Zelda, who was sitting on the ground talking with the Gerudos.
"Well, what did you find out?" Zelda asked.
"Okay. First off, Dark Link and Jaboori want us dead so they can take our pieces of the Triforce and use them to open the Sacred Realm and free Ganondorf." Link said.
"I figured that much. We'll just have to prepare ourselves for battle." Zelda said.
"Yeah, but that's not all... remember when we had to rescue Bessie from the Gerudos? Well, it turns out Jaboori and her cronies have been stealing cows so that they can extract a special kind of milk these cows produce. One that can make anyone grow to our size. I think Jaboori's gonna use this milk to team up with the giant Dark Link and take us down by surprise, but I could hear her say that the milk is not at full strength because we kept them from capturing Bessie." Link said.
"Hmmmm... interesting." Zelda said. Nabooru and her Gerudos were listening carefully to his story.
"And on top of all that, Izim and everyone else that worked with Jaboori are being held prisoner in the Kakariko Graveyard, where they will be killed soon." Link said.
"Well, then. It seems the situation is at hand." Zelda said.
"Yeah. One other thing... Jaboori and Dark Link, as evil as they are, did not notice me at all, despite my trouble finding something big enough to hide in. It seems they are blind to what's happening around them." Link said.
"Then that could definitely play to our advantage." Zelda said.

"Alright, princess, what's the plan?" Nabooru asked.
"Link, you battle Dark Link when the time comes. I'll join with you after I get a little help from the Sages. Surely their guard will be let down when my magic starts to do the talking. Gerudos of Nabooru, head for the Kakariko Graveyard and rescue everyone before the ReDeads can kill them." Zelda said.
"Right! We're on it!" Nabooru said.
"I'm going to speak with Saria first." Zelda said. Link nodded as she started to walk off.
"Be careful!" Link shouted. He drew his sword and shield as he stepped into Desert Colossus in order to practice for his battle with Dark Link.

Link was practicing for his duel. As Link was doing this, Nabooru took 20 or so of her best fighters and headed for Kakariko Village. Gerudos are very fast and are very hard to notice, even to other Gerudos. Jaboori didn't notice. Dark Link couldn't even spot them making their way to Kakariko.
It was 10 minutes to the duel, and Link was still practicing. Link knew that this would be tougher than the last fight. All of Hyrule might be in ruins after the fight. Then again, If Link did nothing, Hyrule would be in ruins anyway. Link took a deep breath and ended for the duel in Hyrule Field.

Izim cursed under his breath. He knew he shouldn't have made this deal with Jaboori but he had little choice. And now, Jaboori had locked him in Kakariko Graveyard with the kids from the forest and the village. The ReDead was easy to defeat, but there was a whole army of them. Izim had only a dagger to defend himself and the children with. If they didn't get help soon, they were doomed.

Dark Link laughed when he saw Link enter the Hyrule Field.
"Come to fight after all?" said Dark Link.
"I can't let you and Jaboori mess things up." said Link.
"Ah, you know about Jaboori. No matter, this fight won't take long!" said Dark Link.

The duel began. The two giants exchanged blows. The two matched their movements perfectly. Dark Link tripped Link with his boot, sending Link to the ground. Right at Lon Lon Ranch! Link stopped himself short of flattening the barn. Malon came out of the house to see what was happening and gasped and ran back in.
"These days just get weirder and weirder!" Malon said to herself as she breathed heavily.

Link got back up and stabbed Dark Link in the knee. Dark Link cried in pain and made a wild swipe at Link's head and miseed. Link stood to his full height. They fought over Lon Lon Ranch, making deafening noises as thier swords clashed.

Nabooru had made it to Kakariko Village. She led her troops right to the graveyard. In the Graveyard, Izim had just killed a ReDead, but another one took its place. Nabooru broke the lock on the gate and rushed in. In a matter of minutes, all the ReDead were slain. Izim thanked Nabooru.

"Has Jaboori told you where your wife is?" asked Nabooru. Izim shook his head.
"Shall I tell you, then?" asked a voice. Nabooru turn around to see Jaboori with her followers.
"Jaboori!" said Nabooru.
"Sister, let's not fight. Join me and we'll rule Hyrule!" said Jaboori.
"No thanks. As a Sage, I must stop you from taking over Hyrule!" said Nabooru.
"Have it your way. Attack th--" said Jaboori.
Suddenly, there was a thunderous crash and there was Dark Link's boot in the graveyard! Dark Link's boot had landed inches from Jaboori and crushed several of her cronies. Jaboori looked up to see that Dark Link had a large gash of blood on his right arm. Black blood showered down on the graveyard.
"Dark Link! Forget about Link! Get a cow so I can help you!" shouted Jaboori. Dark Link growled and continued to fight Link. The fight was in the Graveyard now. Izim and the children had ran off. The two giants were making a mess of the graveyard. Jaboori decided to exit the graveyard too before she got squished.

Jaboori ran out of Kakariko and headed for Lon Lon Ranch. Jaboori got to the Ranch when the two giants returned to the field and continued to fight. The two giants were crushing anything that was in their path. Jaboori entered the barn. She remained in the barn for 15 minutes at least. Link had a bad feeling about that.

"Where's Zelda when I really need her?" asked Link to himself.

Dark Link took a couple steps back from Link to hold his bleeding arm. The people of Kakariko Village who were unfortunate enough to stand in the midst of this giant clash were getting splashed with black blood all over.
"Arrrgh... you've gotten better since we last met, that's for sure." Dark Link said.
"Well, thanks for the compliment." Link said with a smile.
"But it won't be enough to save your friends!" Dark Link shouted. He then charged again for Link as he braced for another strike. But just then, Dark Link was knocked to the ground by two energy bolts. One colored blue, and another colored green. Link turned around to see who it was, and there was Zelda! But someone else was with her, and just as big too...

"Need a hand, Link?" Zelda said.
"Zelda! And... Saria?" Link said, surprised to see his friend at a bigger size too.
"Yep. Zelda suggested I play the Song of Giants, allowing me to grow and assist you in battle!" Saria said.
"Alright! We could use another helping hand." Link said.
"Then how about another one?" a familiar voice said. Link turned to see that walking into Kakariko Village was... oh no... it couldn't be!

"Ruto!?" Link shouted. Yep, it was Ruto. And she was just as big as the other giants.
"We'll need to talk when this is all done, hero." Ruto said with a smile.
"I'll never get used to that." Link said, shaking his head.
"Blast it!!! The princess just had to recruit her fellow sages to outnumber me! I'd like to get my hands on Jaboori!" Dark Link said.
"Where is she!?" Zelda shouted.
"At Lon Lon Ranch, but that won't matter! You'll all be doomed when she drinks her special milk!" Dark Link said.
"Saria! Ruto! Get over there and stop Jaboori!" Zelda ordered. Both girls nodded as they started to walk for the ranch, which wouldn't take them long as big as they were.

Eventually, when they were towering over the ranch, they watched as Jaboori starting running outside one of the barns holding a bottle with the special milk. The girls noticed that Malon was nearby.
"You! Grab that woman!" Saria shouted. Malon turned to see Jaboori, who was stopping to open the bottle as quickly as she could. Jaboori was just about to drink the milk, when Malon tackled her to the ground.
"Gah!!!!" yelled Jaboori. Malon grabbed the bottle of milk and examined it closely.

"HEY!" yelled Jaboori, "DARK LINK! TIME FOR PLAN B!"

Dark Link smiled and somehow got away from Link and Zelda heading for Lon Lon Ranch. Dark Link arrived at Lon Lon Ranch and grabbed Malon who had the milk bottle.
"Ahhhhhh!!! Put me down, please!" Malon shouted in her state of panic.
Zelda and Saria shot enegry bolts at Dark Link, making him drop Malon and the milk. Link rushes forward and catches Malon. The milk bottle, meanwhile, hit the ground and shattered, splashing its contents everywhere on the ground. Ruto shot a bright blue energy bolt at Dark Link. Dark Link doesn't look so hot now. The bolts have taken thier toll. Dark Link glared at Ruto and threw his sword at her. Ruto easily dodged it, and the sword ended up embedded on Death Mountain.
"Damn!" yelled Dark Link. Link stabbed Dark Link in the heart. Dark Link gave a yelp of pain and disappeared in a cloud of darkness.
"You'll pay for this, Hero of Time!!!" Dark Link shouted in his final breaths. Meanwhile, Saria had grabbed Jaboori.
"Well, Jaboori. It's all over now." said Link. Jaboori growled and disappeared in a flash.
"Deku Nut!" said Saria.
"We almost got her." said Ruto.
"Her plans are worthless." said Zelda. "Without the help of Dark Link, Jaboori will never free Ganondorf"
"Should we go look for her then?" asked Saria.

"I say we look for her. She can't have gone far." Link said.
"You're right, and nothing would be better for the Gerudos if she was behind bars. Let's split up and search different sections of Hyrule." Zelda said. The other girls nodded as they all went in different directions, all being careful not to step on anyone or anything important.

Link walked through the Gerudo Training Grounds in order to find Jaboori. One thing for sure, with their leader gone, Jaboori's loyal Gerudos were in a state of confusion, wondering what to do next after their fallen comrade had apparently disappeared. Most of them became good and wished to serve Nabooru's good wishes, while others were arrested for refusing to budge from the side of evil.

Zelda, after searching with no avail through the greatly damaged Kakariko Village, was looking all over the Hyrule Castle market for any sign of Jaboori. Again, nothing to be had. She asked the citizens of the market if they had seen an evil-looking Gerudo gone by, but nothing.

Ruto was searching all over her own domain and eventually through Lake Hylia. Again, nothing to be had. But it was rewarding for Ruto to see her own father go absolutely ballistic to see his own daughter grown so big.

Saria, meanwhile, was searching carefully through the Lost Woods... Jaboori was halfway to the Sacred Forest Meadow when Saria spotted her. Jaboori also saw Saria and tried to run but Saria caught her.

Saria went back to Hyrule Field where Link was just searching.
"Jaboori's here!" yelled Saria. Link looked up and smiled and walked over, as did the other giants. Saria handed Jaboori into Link's hand.

Jaboori glared at Link and stabbed him with a dagger she had. Of course, Link couldn't feel a thing. It was like being bit by a insect. Link brought Jaboori to the Gerudos standing by the entrance to Kakariko Village, who tied her up with all their might.
"Jaboori, in the name of the Gerudos, you're under arrest!" Nabooru said.
"Bleh... for now. But one day, I will return! Stronger than ever! And I will avenge my husband's death!" Jaboori shouted as she was being carried away back to Gerudo Valley. Link and Zelda just laughed, knowing that such a plan was impossible, at least until a hundred years from now. Zelda then breathed a sigh of relief. It was all over. The mystery behind the super speedy thieves was over with Jaboori now behind bars.
"Well, it's over. Hyrule is at peace once again." Zelda said.
"Yeah, and to think this all started out of the place being so boring." Link said. Zelda then looked at Saria and Ruto.
"Thanks for your help, girls. I will return you to your normal size now." Zelda said. She then played the Song of Giants in reverse and focused the song's energies to the two girls, who immediately began to shrink back to their normal size. Saria was already making her way back to Kokiri Forest, but Ruto couldn't stop staring up at the gigantic Link.
"Another time, Ruto." Link said. Ruto pounded her hands together, no doubt bummed that she couldn't get a chance to get up close and personal with this bigger Link, but there was always another time.

Meanwhile, down below, Izim was standing next to the giants' feet with one of the kids. He had been looking for the younger kid that was faster than someone with a bunny hood.
"I wonder where that kid went, and where is my wife?" Izim said.
"Don't worry, Izim. I'm sure they're around here somewhere..." Link said. And just as he said that, the speedy kid returned, with a young woman at his side. Izim's eyes opened up. He knew this woman well.

"April!!!" Izim shouted.
"Izim!" April, Izim's wife, shouted. The two welcomed each other with open arms, and maybe even a tear or two, as they were so happy to see each other again. Zelda and Link held hands in happiness as they watched the events transpire below. Izim looked at the kid.

"How did you find her?" Izim asked.
"She was tied up inside the Temple of Time. Jaboori made me hide her there." the kid said. The older one, the one that had tried to bomb Zelda earlier, joined up with him. Izim and April each looked up at the giants.
"Oh, thank you! I can't thank you two enough from the bottom of my heart!" Izim said.
"Hey, helping people is our job!" Link said.
"Even though it isn't always at this scale." Zelda said.
"Darling... we should get home now." April said.
"Wait! Can you please take us with you?" The speedy kid said.
"Huh? Really?" Izim said.

"We... we have no home. We actually used to live in adoption houses before Jaboori got us out of there and granted me these powers." The speedy kid said.
"Yeah... and she taught me to be more brave, no matter how big the challenges may seem." The other kid said. Zelda thought back to when she was bombarded with bombs from this kid, yet he didn't run away from the giantess.
"Hmmm... I don't know." Izim said.
"Go ahead and adopt them, Izim. I think you have a wonderful family in the making." Link said.
"Yeah, and you can give the boys fresh starts. Help them forget about all the troubles they caused." Zelda said.
"They have a point, Izim." April said.
"Alright then! You two can come live with me." Izim said with a smile. The kids ran up to hug their new parents, who were no doubt as happy as they were.
"Well, we must be going. Thank you, giants of Hyrule!" Izim shouted before he and everyone else walked back into the Hyrule Market streets, where their home was. Link and Zelda were waving them goodbye in the process.

The two giants were once again alone, towering over Hyrule Field, with maybe a stray traveler or two staring up in awe at the size of the two.
"Well... you know what they say. All's well that ends well." Link said.
"Yeah." Zelda said. She took one last look around around Hyrule Field before she nodded to herself. She then looked at Link.
"Link, I think it's time we returned to our normal size. We really should get back to our normal lives as well." Zelda said.
"Yeah... that's a good point. There's so much you can do with this size, and then there are the disadvantages of it, like where to sleep, how much to eat, being careful not to step on anyone... things like that." Link said. Zelda put the ocarina back into her mouth and started to play the Song of Giants backwards once again, this time while focusing the energies on herself and Link.

"Oh, Zelda?" Link said, interrupting Zelda's playing.
"Yes, Link?" Zelda asked. Link took a few seconds of silence before speaking.
"Can we do this again sometime soon? I had fun being this big." Link said. Zelda just smiled. He was thinking the same thing she was.
"Of course, Link. Of course." Zelda said. She went back into her motion, and as the sun began to set over Hyrule, Link and Zelda shrunk back down to their normal size.

They walked into Hyrule Market and were welcomed back by nearly everyone before Zelda went back to her castle and Link went back to his own treehouse in Kokiri Village. After nearly 72 hours of Hyrule having to deal with gigantic bliss and other weird things, life returned to normal.

Epilogue

Link walked into Hyrule Castle to meet up with Princess Zelda again. It was nice knowing that the guards weren't as protective of their princess and were now letting him come to visit anytime he wanted. He carried what appeared to be a framed picture underneath his right arm. Link knocked on the door to Zelda's bedroom.
"Come in!" Zelda shouted. Link opened the door and walked inside to see Zelda, in her nightgown and doing her hair.
"Good morning, princess." Link said.
"Morning, Link. What brings you here anyway?" Zelda said.
"Well, I was walking around the market today, when I ran into Izim. He wanted me to give you this picture he painted overnight." Link said. He then turned the picture around so she could see it. Zelda lightly gasped and then smiled, with her hands on her chest.
"Awww... it's beautiful." Zelda said. It was a picture of Hyrule Castle, alright, but with Link and Zelda standing as giants behind the structure. At the very bottom of the picture was writing that included Izim's signature, along with a message that read, "Giants of Hyrule." Link nodded as if he were agreeing with her.

Zelda took the picture from Link's hands and laid it on her bed.
"I'll hang this up in the hallway. Tell Izim I said thanks." Zelda said.
"No problem. Well... I'll see you later. Have a good day, princess." Link said.
"You too, Link." Zelda said. Link then walked out of the bedroom, and the two proceeded with their normal days with the memory of being so big in Hyrule fresh in their minds. Especially with Izim's generousity.
